Carol is the only one that speaks english, and she is absolutely great: she speaks really good english and she will help you to prepare your route in the national park perfectly well. The problem is that they have another hostel too, so when Carol is not there, everything gets complicated because the others doesn't speak any english and they are not really helpful (only the little child, she's the one who at least tries). The "mountain view" means that the mountain is just there, 30 cm away, when you open the window, so there are not views at all, at least in our room. We order dinner one night and it was very expensive for what it was (30 RMB for egg and tomato, and they don't even gave me rice, I had to take ir myself). The room was big and clean, and the bathroom was very big. The hostel seems to be new and it's 5 minutes walking from the park entrance, which is great. And you have a nice terrace to relax.
