Everything is terrible, we only stayed for an hour and left immediately. We lose a lot of money.

This hotel has three names”

it was very difficult to get information about this hotel, then we noticed has three names: yi pin yuan, rose rice hotel and hakone hotel, i don't know why. the rooms are spacious but the bathroom is very old. there is cable tv and air-conditioning. although is very far from tainan train station (taxi around 120ntd) the location is good for visiting monuments. there is a tourist bus stop in the park, near to the hotel.

Service were as good as five star”

I must give a thumbs up for this hotel especially the front desk staffs. The young pretty short hair lady was very helpful. When i enquire about her suggestion to my 3 nights stay, she took the trouble n initiative to prepare a so call day to day 'independent tour proposal' in a very orderly folder form which helps me alot. Thanks...... Not to mention all the little other request towards other front desk staff during my stay, they will never let me down. Wonderful stay....basically public transport is a laggy at tainan, so taxi, motorbike normally are a better option. Oh one more thing, please renovate the lobby, it's so worn down n shabby comparable to the great friendly service:)

Great Location”

Hotel was situated in a convenient location, about NT120 for a cab ride to Tainan railway station. Staff was really friendly, and helpful. rooms seemed slightly old, but otherwise all was fine.

decent hotel but small rooms”

it is about 20 minutes walking distance from the tainan train station. as there are no MRT system in the country, it is either bus or by foot. hotel is flexible in accommodating to our requests and changes, something i was really appreciative about.

Good for the price”

The room was large with a comfortable bed although the pillows were hard. Hotel is a bit tired, carpets worn but room and bath were clean. Satellite TV with the usual English language stations.Location is OK, not much for restaurants in the immediate streets but if you go out of the hotel,walk left, east, a few blocks you get to a big boulevard, turn left and it is full of outdoor cafes. 3 dollar cab ride to Confucius Temple, about the same to the railway station to get the train to the High Speed Rail. Breakfast was an OK Chinese buffet except for white toast and jam.

Great location”

the location was good, near to excellent food places. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful too. Rooms seem a little old, but its still clean. Will definitely stay again!

good location and good price”

it located very close to most of the scenic spots of tainam even though a bit far to the tainam train station by walk but by taxi just cost about. night markets, bars and local restaurants are nearby. this hotel is a bit old but the room is acceptable clean. unfortunately you can hear the water pipes or flushing toilet sound in the middle of the night. but the room rate is really good. the staffs are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not near the train station. Need to take taxi and it cost about nt110. The hotel staff are nice and helpful.

Very basic and worn out”

The hotel is very old and the door is somewhat hard to close/open where you need an extra push or pull. In the room I stayed they seem to have recently renovated the shower room so it was nice and clean but the room itself was very basic and old. My partner found the bed very hard; bed sheets and pillows were clean.

Love Hotel Bridal Suite”

hotel would have been grand in its day but is looking quite tired now. we had a corner room that could be best described as a "love hotel bridal suite". the room was very large, hard bed, clean soft sheets, fancy english style decorations, heart shaped spa bath. wifi worked fine from the 3rd floor breakfast was ok. asian inspired, all disposable cups, plates etc. weird. a little too far from the train station but there are heaps of shops nearby.

Ok place to stay”

Room had a window, but only 30cm of view to the next building. No parking provided at hotel. Staff not really helpful sorting the issue. Not the best place we stayed in Taiwan, but ok for a night or two.

部屋の鍵に苦戦、フロントのお姉さんは常に不機嫌、すべてに普通。”

ビジネスダブルを一泊だけ利用、駅から遠く、安平にも距離があり、ビジネス客にはいいかもしれないが、観光には微妙な場所。鍵の開け方に癖があり、初めての者には戸惑う。ホテルマンのヘルプを借りて、部屋に入るのに２０分近くかかった。フロントのお姉さんは常に不機嫌そうな感じで、客商売とは思えない。高雄市の番組が見たかったが、テレビの映りがイマイチだった。近くにはお店もたさんあり、決して立地が悪いところではないが、積極的に泊りたいという魅力に欠ける。ある程度安くして回転率をあげることが宿命のようなホテルの感じを受ける。と言っても、こちらが泊った時期は、それほど安くも感じなかった。
