We had a very pleasant stay. Staff was friendly. Room was a little small but clean and no smoke smell. Car park was very big so no worries of not having a slot. Would recommend.

We enjoyed staying at this place and liked clean room and bathroom. During our stay for two day, we did not know the cleaning staff took our Apple cable accidently and we found we lost when we came home. I called asking whether they have found. The staff told me that he would keep it until I visit them to pick it up. I appreciate their kindness.

A motel for those who don't mind the firmness of the beds”
Shouldn’t maybe complain too much about the minor details considering the price less than W30,000 per night. The size of the room, amenities, lighting, TV, AC etc… the room was all fine. However, when it comes to the quality of the bed and seeking a certain level of comfort, it's a bit hard to recommend. The mattress is extremely firm without any padding and there seems to be something placed between the sheets that was causing a crunchy sensation and sound whenever I moved or turned over. The sheets have an unpleasant, nylon-like texture that feels uncomfortable against the skin. I had the exact same experience at the different nearby motel in the following day (which was in the same price range), this is just how the beds are in motels within this price range in this country… It's good to know what to expect for my future bookings based on this experience…

Probably a love motel, but I have no regrets”
I paid less for the room than I would for a hostel in Europe, and that price gets you an amazingly comfortable room, a comparatively huge bathroom, massive tv screen, great lighting with a whole control panel, very comfy bed, all sorts of toiletries and extras… including condoms, which is why I’m thinking love motel, but they can have a good laugh about the naive foreigner all they like if this is what I get for it…

Hotel Yeogijoa is not located too far away from Gwangju Train Station and the rooms are clean. However, my room was pretty small (mine had one double bed) and the breakfast offered only lasts 90 minutes and consists solely of white bread and sugary strawberry jam. This hotel has no real ambience and definitely resembles a motel (yeogwan style) rather than a hotel. Moreover, the owner of the hotel is not very friendly to guests. Fortunately, there are better accommodation options nearby. Yeogijoa means 'here is good' in Korean, but it is a pretty average (at best) place to stay.

Good for couples, when travelling by car or taxi”
The price was good and room was very cheap but impressive in regard to quality and cleanliness. They also provide nice extras like cream, shampoo, and much more to ameliorate the stay. We enjoyed our stay very much. 2 points to consider: the hotel is primarily a love or event hotel, meaning that there might be sounds of people who are coming back late from partying and rushing through the hallway or people playing video games in the neighboring rooms all night. Especially on the weekends it might be a little bit noise my for people who are sensitive to that. Additionally the place is a 10 min walk from the subway/train station through an industrial area. Feels safe, but especially as a women, it might be more comfortable to go by taxi or car if it's late in the evening. The hotel has a large parking lot right below it's facilities. Overall i would recommend the place very much!

최악..”
최악... 기본적인 위생문제 후기들이 많았는데 최근까지도 변한게 없네요. 키보드 먼지가 엄청 쌓여있고 바닥 또한 깨끗한 편은 아니에요. 화장실 벽면 누런 때는 청소만 잘하면 사라질 것들인데 그대로 있고 방 전체적으로 먼지가 많이 쌓여 상쾌한 느낌은 없네요. 침구 및 수건도 오래된 느낌이 나고 역대급 지저분한 숙소 였습니다. 심지어 스타일러 사용 해보니 바닥으로 물까지 흐르더라구요. 스타일러 문도 침대에 걸려 활짝 열리진 않고 80퍼 정도만 열리네요. 굉장히 소음이 심해요. 옆방 문닫는 소리들이 상당히 크게 들리고 방 정리 해주시는 직원분들 웃음 소리나 청소할때 툭툭 던지는 소리및 모든 소리들이 너무 잘 들립니다. 직원분들 문제도 있겠지만 숙소 자체가 시끄러운 느낌이 드네요. 방구조 문제도 있는데 문 열고 들어가자마자 세면대 변기가 보이고 그 뒤로 샤워부스가 보이는데..이게 뭔가 싶더라구요. 엄청 당황 했네요. 화장실을 지나야 방으로 들어 갈 수 있다는... 샤워부스도 유리벽이 세워져 있는데 벽이랑 연결해서 튼튼하게 만드는 봉도 고장이나 떨어져 있는데 수리도 안되어 있고 흔들리는 유리벽이 조금 위험해 보이기 까지 했네요. 배그 가능 피시라고 해서 봤는데 웃음만 나오는 피시 상태였고...여러모로 문제가 많았던 숙소 였네요. 물론 모든 방들이 다 그런건 아니겠지만 기본적인 것들이 지켜지지 않는 숙소를 이용하고 도저히 가만히 있을수가 없었네요. 앞으로 이곳을 이용하고 싶으신 분들 이라면 후기들을 꼭 한번씩 읽어 보시고 결정 하시면 좋을것 같아요.
