Lovely homestay for small groups and families”

One of the things that a family traveling thinks of is security, cleanliness, connectivity and host responsiveness. Team Xanadu aced all. Right from the time of speaking with Ms. Manjusha at the time of booking, to the final send off, we felt a genuine interest in our visit and the drive to make our stay comfortable and memorable. What doesn't show up properly in the photos was that the guest has the whole floor to themselves and one can watch the rising and setting sun. The view from the room provides a 180 degree view of a valley.
Not really. We did have some connectivity issue while heading to the place. But the weather was quite inclement.

Outstanding stay”

The breakfast was excellent, the location (in a quiet locality) was great and the room very well done. We had a lot of space to ourselves and the view from the terrace was wonderful. And, while we were there in the dead of winter ( it was cold on a couple of days) Xanadu had the heating systems that made for a comfortable stay. But what really made the stay memorable was Manjusha. We were visiting at a time when things were in some turmoil in Assam and Shillong (CAA related). At one point in time we almost thought of calling off the visit. Manjusha was very prompt in her replies to our many queries. She kept us fully updated and when things quietened down we finally made the visit (which we enjoyed immensely). She also took us around for a small private tour on the last day of our visit which we very much appreciated. Highly recommended!!
