Great Value Apartment”
Stayed 3 nights in their Twin Family Room with 2 double beds (look exactly in the photo), a small kitchen (just with a kettle, mini fridge & mugs), 2 seater sofa, 2 seaters dining tables, front load washing machine with dryer function. Clogged bathroom shower drain on first night. Staff immediately came to check & unclog the shower drain though it is already 10pm+. Next day they sent a plumber to rectify the problem when we were out. So we could continue to stay in same room. Very easy to get to hotel from Xiashan Airport. Take aiport bus to Pinghai Rd that stop right in front of Grand Metropark Hotel Hangzhou which is only 350m away from Westlake 7. Cross over Pinghai Rd to Zhoungshan International Hotel. Walk toward xihu direction (Zhongshan hotel on yr left) for few minutes and turn left to Yuewang Rd. Walk about 100m and Westlake is on your left. Head to right side of building and the reception is on 7th floor. Very easy to find. Good location as you can walk to xihu and metro station.

3 nights at Westlake 7 Service Apartment”
Location of the apartment is within 5mins walk to one of the largest shopping mall near West Lake(i.e. plenty of choice for foods) & 10mins walk to the pretty West Lake itself. We booked a 3pax room & was happy with the size of room & they even have washing machine inside the toilet. Staff at reception @ level 7 is helpful. Lighting at the lift area & corridor to the rooms are not adequate i.e. not as bright in most hotels i stayed so far but no big deal. If you travel by bullet train to Hangzhou, please choose arrival at Hangzhou Railway Station instead of Hangzhou East Station, as the former is much nearer to hotel. Our taxi had difficulty searching for the hotel based on the printed map fr google. Suggest also to tell taxi driver the hotel is next to Wushan night market.

A hotel with an excellent location”
We are a family of 4 (with two children of 8 and 13 years old). The space in the apartment is sufficient for us and the beds are comfortable. The arrangement of the furnitures are done intelligently, furnished with adequate equipment, such as flat screen TV, washing machine, functional hot water boiler, good air con, small fridge and a kettle. Despite the building being located near to Xihu and all amenities a large city can offer, it is relatively quiet. If you want guaranteed peace and quiet, ask the staff to place you in an apartment that is higher than 7th floor. This is because between 5 p.m. and midnight, there is a night market just right at the door step of the building. The staff are professional and able to check us in in less than 10-15 minutes. They provide honest advice, allow us to have a late check-out at 2 p.m. and we are able to leave our luggages at the reception for a couple of hours before leaving Hangzhou. With a bit more warmth while providing client service will make the entire experience even better. Things/ aspects that can be improved: 1) Overall cleaniless of the apartment can be further enhanced; 2) Hotel should provide automatically some basic cutleries, cups, bowls and dishes without having clients to rent them 3) Place instruction on how to use the TV and TV box handy somewhere in the room 4) The odour of sewage reaches the bathroom of the 11th floor, where our apartment was located, on the second day ! This wasn't a problem on the first day of our stay. If you are taking a taxi from the train station to the hotel, please make sure you are taking it from an official taxi stand at the station, which can be crowded at times (note: this is a general rule applicable everywhere in China). We paid RMB13 for a meter taxi to get to the hotel. Non-meter taxi driver offered to take us for RMB 80 or RMB 100.

I like the mini loft very much as it is very compact and clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and did her best to make us feel at home. The hotel is located at quite a strategic location. My friend and I walked to Westlake( you can opt for taxi, but walking to Westlake will let you see the town of Hangzhou). My only grouse about the mini loft is that the heater tend to blow directly at the bed hence resulting in a rather too warm night.

We enjoyed our stay very much as the room is comfortable. The apartment is within walking distance to Westlake and many restaurants and Wushan night market. However, for the elderly it may be a challenge for them however the taxi service is At RMB11 to get to Westlake so they can always take a cab. As we have read the reviews we are aware about the checking in procedure at the 7th Floor of Block A so there is no issue. There is no signage of the Westlake 7 at the entrance so may be confusing for those who are not aware.

Great and Worth Value Accommodation ”
The room is really new and comfortable. We booked a 3-person rooms but they helped us to upgrade for free to a 4-person rooms (with 2 double-bed). You can also see Xi Hu from your room window (slide glance). With this room rate, the apartment is really worth of staying. The staff is pretty awesome and helpful. We ordered many items from Taobao and deliver to the apartment few days before we arrived. The staff accepted the items and kept for us before we arrive. We really appreciate for their effort. The apartment is located near to Long Xiang Qiao train station, about 10-min walk from station(Exit D) to the apartment. If you do not know where to walk, there is a police booth outside the train station. Just ask the police officer and he will direct you. From the apartment, you can walk to Xi Hu directly in 20minutes. If not, you can take bus 72 in front of the apartment and xi hu is just 2 stations away. There is actually airport bus stopping nearby the apartment too. You may contact the apartment personally before you go.

Right in front of Wu Shan night market. Easy to go to Westlake with DiDi (like Uber). Room is not really clean, because I still can see some dust at corners of the sofa and cupboard, and also funny smell in the toilet. However, room is spacious enough for 3 people and beds are nice to sleep! I regret to spend only two nights here. I will comeback for a visit if I get to visit Hangzhou again! :)

We total spend 2 nights in this service apartment, the room is clean and spacious. Is only take 10 min walk to the metro, xihu lake and shopping more. There is a night market very night just across the street from the property. They even provide a washing machine in every room. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic, the bas station to airport just need 3 min walk from the hotel. Definitely will stay in the same hotel for our next visit. Thumb up!!

Enjoyed staying at this venue. Location is about 10mins walk to the West Lake (XiHu). Staff tried hard to help with our queries even though we had a language problem. No one staff can speak English well, so not very good for people with no Mandarin knowledge whatsoever. Also, there is a night market every night just outside the hotel. Nice to wander around and try some local cuisine or buy cheap goods( need to haggle though). Venue is rather hard to find at first though, as it shares the building with another hotel - East Palace Plaza Hotel. Better to give this to the taxi driver as the name of the hotel, instead of WestLake Service apartments. Also, the reception is on the 7th floor. The ground floor reception is for the East Palace Plaza hotel.

It is a great location which is a walking distance of 15 mins to Westlake. It may be seems difficult to find especially first timer, this location got my full recommendation. Staff are very friendly and have extent help to where should I go for dinner as my group is 21 paxs. Even provide me umbrella as the day of check in was raining. The room are fantastic. The bed is somehow a bit hard for my liking. This is just my preference as most hotel bed are somewhat is hard. Will definitely return to stay should I visit to Hangzhou again.

really enjoyed my three-night stay here but some advice for fellow travellers is that the service apartment is located in a largernbusiness traveller's hotel so don't be alarmed if the taxi driver pulls up to a complex that isn't called "westlake 7". also the hotel room can be rather cold in winter and facilities are not always the best maintained. still for the price (less than ) i have no complaints.

I get a taxi to the hotel but the taxi driver get me to another westlake apartments as the names were the same using GPS. You will find it hard to get the apartment as the name did not state clearly. but at the end I managed to get the apartment, it's on seventh floor. once you checked in, you will find your bed "in the air", a nice experience and value for money. besides, there is a night market that sells various products and foods. you won't get starve there.

Location: Far from the nearest subway station and taxi is difficult to catch. But it's just 5 minutes walk away from the airport transfer bus! Other than that, expect to walk everywhere you go. There is a daily night market just in front of the apartment every night with wide varieties of trinkets and goods. But be prepared to haggle (hard). Room: Gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Never want to leave the room every morning because my family studio is too cozy. Coupled with free wifi, it's just heaven. However, toilet has no natural ventilation so it tends to smell after a while. Food: Nothing great nearby, walk to westlake for better food.

agoda reserved me a loft room for two weeks, but when i arrived the hotel didn't have any loft rooms available so, for the same price, they gave a better room with more floor space. service was pleasant. the kitchenette was serviceable and there were no problems with the plumbing. overall, i recommend westlake 7 if you are looking for somewhere to stay for more than a couple days.

after arriving at hangzhou airport 7:30pm,use airport shuttle to pinghai rd. ask for direction n reach the westlake 7 service apartment. Not much problem. Buliding reception at ground floor is a bit rude. Directed to 7th Floor for the reception. Check-in reasonably hassle-free. Paid rmb300 as deposit.Room size is acceptable and clean. Bed abit hard. No air-cond just open the window for the cool air. Cleaner came in twice during our 4 days stays. Centrally located. Nightmarket just in front. MRT about 10-15 mins. westlake is 20-30 mins walk. Bus stop just at main road. Enjoy the 4 days in hangzhou.

Very near the lake, can walk there. Next to an antique flea market by day and night market by night, so it was very fun walking through the markets. Staff was helpful and competent, rooms were clean everyday and I absolutely loved the loft bed concept. If I ever return to Hangzhou this will definitely be my choice of accommodation again.

Superior Room”
I booked 3 Superior Rooms for 6 nights through Agoda dot com. It's cheaper than the other online booking website. We had a nice stay there. We arrived a bit late at about 11:45PM. But the apartment staff were already informed in advance through Agoda. For check-in, you may get confuse because the reception desk for the apartment is at the 7th floor. You can't go directly to that floor. You need to talk to the security on duty at the counter of the ground floor. He will either take you there or use his access card to allow you to get to the 7th floor. It's very confusing for non Mandarin speaking travellers. The staff are very helpful even though they can't speak English. You need to prepare your own FAQ in Chinese with simple answer Yes or No. Or else it will be difficult for them to help you. The Superior Rooms we stayed are excellent and as good as 4 star hotel but there is no English TV programs. If you want to cook rise, you can ask the maid she will provide rice cooker, knife, chopsticks etc. The apartment is secured because you need card to access your room and go to the apartment office which is 24 hours.

The mini loft is very spacious with pantry facilities and can easily fit in a small family of 2+2, except the bed is hanging from the floor and one might have to adjust to this set-up. There is washing machine in the bathroom too. Just 5 min walk to the nearest metro station and thus one of the most busy part of the city. 5 more minutes of walk then one will reach Xihu too. Also it is a new service apartment in a quite corner of a residential neigbourhood and thus still have many local grocery shops and eateries around in a range of 5 min walk. The best part, at the evening, there is a night market with lots of local things and eateries just at the corner of the entrance! The building itself also has spa and swimming pool, though one of course has to pay seperately. The lobby is huge and grand and there is even a small convenience store there for drinks or basic life necessities. The serving staff is very willing to help.

My stay at Westlake,Xihu was 'adventurous' as communication in English was virtually diffficult My stay at Westlake,Xihu was adventurous as communication in English was virtually difficult as staff response was unhelpful when my daughter call me from home due to an emergency. The staff who answer her call could not understand basic English and therefore pass the line to another colleague who similarly could not understand basic English and consequently put the phone down.Westlake,Xihu is in a great location and the ability to communication basic English among staff would greatly enhance and complenment the service that could be fully appreciated.
