In the heart of Jiaoxi and when you stay with Wellspring by silks; you also access to Just Sleep Jiaoxi. Means pay for one hotel and you can enjoy 2 hotels facilities. Happy Hour is also a plus with access of free booze and snacks. Infinity pool and SPA... we enjoyed a lot and we have been coming back to stay with Wellspring by silks so many times. Recommended for sure

Exceeded my expectations! ”

My stay at Wellspring by Silks was nothing short of amazing. The suite was awesome. The hot springs in my room were super relaxing. But most of all, the service and staff at this property were exceptional. They went out of their way to make me feel at home, from check in, all the way to check out. I want to personally recognize ISLA who was so sweet and thoughtful. As an English speaker she went out of her way to speak English with me even though it is not her first language. She helped me with restaurants, helped me to order a cab, and was very thoughtful in many other ways. When I left the hotel at 5 am for a cab to the airport, the staff even prepared a little something for me for the ride out. It's these little extras that really leave a lasting impression. I've stayed at many comparable places in the US, but its the service and courtesy that really made this property and brand stand out. You can be sure that I will be looking to stay with them again for my next trip to Asia!

Just Brilliant”

My wife and I travel often and we always look for comfort regardless of cots but with Wellspring by Silks we truly believed we got our moneys worth. The staff are amazing the breakfast was very surprising as most Asian countries dont cater well for Westerners. Room was clean and the service ans attention to guests could not be faulted. I am very fusssy so this was a great holiday for us both.

Nice services and space”

The service is great, they pickup us from train station, even only 3 minutes away. The space is great too, especially Gallery. The atmosphere of Gallery is tranquil, it a good place for relax. I will stay Wellspring by silks when we travel next time.

Well-Worth the Money”

This is the first hot spring hotel I stayed in Yilan and it was one of the best I stayed from my trips in recent years. Everything is perfect is except the hotel is a bit too dark (maybe that is concept of this hotel) but sometimes it gives me a creep😅 Cleanliness: the room is extremely clean and organized when we first arrived. We stayed for two nights and every day we came back with everything as new. The floor is vacuumed nicely without any visible dirt. Room: the room was bigger than we expected. The bed was big and comfortable. The design of the room is well thought out where the hot spring tub is just at the patio. In between there is a toilet and shower room. My fiancé and I had a good sleep hearing no noise from other rooms. Staff: the staff are very friendly and professional. They always greet us when they have the chance. Even though a few staff don't speak good English, they did try their best to communicate with us. That is something we really appreciate. Thank-you! Facility: the breakfast was included and it was one of the best we had in recent trips. It is located at the second top floor of the building and it is a like buffet style. Every day it is a little bit different. They offer tons of selection from fruits, salad, hot food, cold food, drink, soups, drinks and breads. The food is so good that we didn't miss any. The top of the building has a few swimming pools for you to enjoy. The hotel offers snacks, movie, and wine in different times so be sure to take advantage of that. Overall: my fiancé and I will give this hotel 9.5/10 because we really love our stay here. Although we didn't do much in Yilan, we were totally relaxed and enjoyed our stay. We really want to take this opportunity to say a big thank-you to the staff for such good services. We will definitely be coming back if we come to YiLan

Exceptional”

While it doesn't have 5-stars this nicely designed boutique hotel is a pleasant, fresh breeze in Taiwanese generally disappointing hotel industry. What we appreciated the most: (1) Staff service standards are excellent, (2) Everything is new/well maintained, (3) Nice roof-top facilities including Onsen overlooking Jiaoxi, (4) Happy hour & snacks/coffee in lobby, (5) Nicely-appointed rooms, (6) Really comfortable bed, (7) Good location with convenient parking on B1. What we didn't enjoy: (1) Despite the statement on their website, there were no drink or food options by the pool. They say they have a Roof Bar, but they don't, (2) Restaurant options were also limited with hot pot only, (3) Breakfast buffet does not cater to international clientele, (4) Private hot spring area in the room is noisy and opposite to relaxing (because of intensive traffic outside and other hotel guests playing loudly with their phones), (5) Even if the weather in the evening was nice they didn't play the movie on the rooftop (called A Theatre of Stars). Generally it's a nice hotel, but not for this price tag.

Cozy Room, Hot Spring, Great Breakfast”

Transportation: We took the bus from Taipei to Jiaoxi. Took about 10 min walk from the station to the hotel. Room: The room was small but clean and cozy with a personal hot spring tub on the balcony. There were complimentary (very delicious) green-bean cakes, drinks, and facial mask. I went there to celebrate my birthday and the hotel prepared a bottle of diptyque lotion; i love the small surprise. Food: The breakfast was amazing; it was mostly Japanese style but with lots of varieties. We were very content. Facility: It was a shame we forgot to bring the swimming suit, otherwise, we would dip ourselves in the rooftop hot-spring and swimming pool. We were also provided with passes and password to use the adjacent hotel's, Just Sleep, public hot spring. Also a shame that we didn't have time to check it out. Another reason to visit back. Con: the only feedback we had was that there was somehow no cold water in our shower and tub. hope the engineering team will fix it soon.

Costly but comfortable hot spring resort :D”

Awesome gesture by hotel to decorate our room for our 1st wedding anniversary with lovely balloon works!!! Everything you can expect of a highly rated hot spring resort with your personal in room hot spring stone tub too. Breakfast is very delicious and seems to be geared towards Japanese tourists. Within walking distance from Jiaoxi train station.

Beautiful hotel at a great location”

The hotel was well located, just a 5 minute walk away from Jiaoxi train station, making it extremely convenient to explore. Convenience stores like 7-11 are also just a stone's throw away. I didn't get to try the rooftop hotspring pool but it looked absolutely gorgeous. We used the private hotspring tub in our room instead and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hotel is clean and provides really good service. We even had a note from housekeeping explaining that she did not throw away our beer bottles as she wasn't sure if we wanted to keep it as a souvenir, should we wish to dispose it, to simply place it in the bin and she would clear it the next day. Very thoughtful indeed!

Great first time hot spring hotel with excellent hotel staff”

Our family of 3 (all adults) enjoyed ourselves very much with this hotel and everything from facilities to staff were out of our expectations. The location is excellent- easy to find and quite close to the main Jiaoxi area and the train station. The hotel room we booked was very spacious and clean. Room was really quiet too. Every staff we met from housekeeping to front desk were really friendly and attentive to our needs. Love the room's own hot spring! We were quite surprised when the restaurant offered us a free welcoming dish. Highly recommended!

Excellent Stay with Onsen Facilities”

Great hospitality experience with the entire hotel stay! Many small details that the hotel provided including welcome drink, outdoor movie theatre, Japanese slippers, umbrellas for rainy day etc. Their bedding was huge and extremely comfortable to sleep on especially after a good dip of onsen (choice of in room or public onsen). Worth every cents we paid and will definitely revisit this hotel if we come back to Yilan.

Hotel is clean and creates this cozy feeling as soon as you walk into the lobby. Staff are fairly friendly and helpful. Hotel even offers unlimited snacks and wines during certain period, I think its pretty thoughtful. There also has movie played right on the rooftop as Jiaoxi can be quiet and steady during weekday which can be a backup plan to kill time if you got nowhere to go.

It's our 2nd time staying at Wellspring and everything exceeded our expectation as always. The stay was great, comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast spread was good too! Will definitely return :)

A Gem in Yilan/Jiaoxi”

Experiencing hot spring on the rooftop at dusk in an amazing experience. All the little details in the hotels, e.g. kids toiletries in the bathroom, face masks in the fridge, special surprise upon handing in the comments card, the special evening cocktail hour just makes this hotel extra special. Breakfast has a great selection of Taiwanese, Western and Japanese options. Love the location as its right by a street with so many good food and options at all price ranges. The kids play areas, crafts area, and cookie making classes next door keep our kids busy between hot spring sessions. Really love it and would highly recommend this to all my friends visiting the area. And for sure, we will be back :)

Nice and clean hotel ”

One of the better hotels in Yilan and built in room hot spring facilities. Breakfast spread was wonderful. However lighting system can be better with more controls over lights to be in and off. Bathroom was relatively small.

It was enjoyable with good amenities and close to the jiaoxi station. However, for the staff, there were some hits and misses. While they were attentive, they only lack the special attentiveness and personalised service that would make them outstanding. Can't complain abt the food also, it was outstanding.

Pleasant stay and definitely will return”

We were well taken care of from the time we were dropped off at the lobby. Our check in had been prepared in advance of us arriving. Room was very clean and well maintained. The hot spring tub outside the room was uniquely designed. Breakfast which came with the room reservation was splendid; no one was bored even after 3 days. Tried their dinner hotpot and it was reasonably priced for the quality (seafood platter and poultry). Will definitely return next trip!

Japanese style new hotspring hotel with strategic location and exceptionally well service”

Ideal for hotspring lovers. Hotel at a strategic location in qiaoxi's hotspring street with souvenir, hotspring, spa and massage shops all within short walking distance. Hotel is Japanese style and still new with free car park. It has some activities arranged for its guests and daily free food and movie session at a certain point of time at its lobby. The room is spacious with private hotspring, kimono, slippers and plenty of amenities. Very impressed with the service of all of the staff here. They were polite, friendly, considerate and took extra effort to make the guests comfortable. My room was upgraded upon check in. My sister was sick and therefore, we had to extend our stay. The staff did all they could to help us such as upgrade our room again so that my sister didn't have to change room. Must try the sukiyaki dinner buffet at the hotel - very tasty with free unlimited starters and haagen dazs ice cream dessert. I rate this hotel 10/10 and would certainly stay there again.

Very good”

This hotel is located in Jiaoxi, which is a popular hotspring area. It is just beside a shopping street that sells local products and nice local food. Take note that the hotspring water in the hotspring tub in room and at the top of the hotel is not as hot as natural hot spring. The temperature of the water is only about 42 degrees. Breakfast is average. Overall, enjoyed the stay and the room on the 9th floor.

Exceptional”

Staff from hotel were very friendly & helpful. Our checkin supposed to be at 3 pm but they managed to arrange the room ready at 12 noon why I am impressed. We joined one of their complimentary trip to see the nature & waterfall which we have a staff from the hotel and our family was impressed with him. His name is David and very caring. Climbing up the high step, he impressed us as he held my mum without any hesitation. We extended our one room till 9 pm due to our late flight which we have to move to a "Tatami " room which I was not too impressed with the room setup. European room is definitely better. A good hotel to stay. Highly recommended.
