if you are looking for a place that is serene and calm, which you couldn't find at Haad Rin, I strongly suggest that you book this resort. I love how their restaurant is on the beach. I enjoyed my Khao Pad and Coconut juice with an amazing view of the beach with sound of the waves as my background music. The owners are one of the most hospitable and helpful people Ive met. I had a problem with my ferry ticket and they drove me around the pier and didnt leave me until I found a way to go back to Bangkok. I would definitely come back to this resort in the future!

Planning first to stay 5 night ended at 12 nights. Definitely the place to stay in Koh Phangan. We loved it.

the room is ok and clean, close to the beach but too far from Haad Rin. if you would like to go Fullmoon party you have to think How long when you need to get back to the resort because really far but you can ask the reception about the taxi car when you check-in.No taxi car near this place and the road to go haad rin kinda dangerous..spend time for riding there about 1 hour from this resort to go haad rin i think.

Helpful reception staff”

We had booked a standard aircon bungalow and at arrival we were given an old poorly furnished one on the beach. We asked about the price of an upgrade to a superior bungalow. The ladies at the reception were very helpful and offered us a brand new superior bungalow at the pool without any surcharge. The resort has a decent restaurant with fair prices right on the beach. We enjoyed taking our breakfast there.

We had a bungalow near the beach that was very clean and furnished with nearly everything necessary just without a Soap and no make-up tray / washstand storage in the bath but that's totally fine. ✌ You also have a veranda with seat options and a clothes horse. The reception was always occupied and very friendly and helpful. I just can recommend this Resort to everybody!

we rented a car in tongsala (relax car rental) and had a perfect stay on the island. every day we went out to see the island. Waking up here is perfect!! We made a mistake with the booking but they found a solution for us so we could stay!!! ( they where building a new hotel next to this resort, we had no problem with noise but maybe in the future this can be a problem??)

Nice beach and restaurants nearby”

Diving centre has an office in resort. Rooms are big and clean. Restaurant with breakfast at the beach possible. But some jelly-fish in the water. So we did not go into the water a second time.

Very unfriendly staff ”

Staff was very unfriendly, made us feel like they were doing us a favor by doing their job. Many other places on the island have much friendlier staff. Front desk reception, without my permission, sent a taxi to my room a day before I was checking out to take me away from the hotel. I opened my door in the morning to a taxi driver asking me if I was ready to leave. It was very inappropriate for the taxi driver to be told about my travel plans without my consented, as well as to be standing outside my room for an untold amount of time waiting for me to wake up and come outside my room. I was very shocked and concerned by this. I do not recommend

Pleasant”

We had the highest bungalow with an excellent view, though many steps. Restaurant was good, manager was very helpful. Weather was poor for our stay, but beachside location is ideal. Go for a Thai massage on the beach! No hot water in the shower, otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Badly maintained property in a lovely location”

I had a large bungalow which would have been perfect except for a few disadvantages: the WiFi didn’t work. There was nowhere to attach a shower, so I had to hold it in my arm while using it. There’s only 2 plugs in a room for 3 people. The cord for the kettle is so short that there’s no surface one can place a kettle to boil. A lot of broken things inside the bungalow - broken door handles, things where one would put their toiletries etc. They just don’t care! For this price, an investment of extra few hundred baht would make a big difference! The staff are slow and not very welcoming. A really nice beach though.

Very unfriendly ”

We booked online and arrived in the pouring rain. We were rushed to check in even though we were clearly soaked through. Bizarrely we were asked if we'd like a taxi booked for when we checked out - not the most of welcoming starts. The room was good though. Every time we walked through the restaurant we were ignored and they even wanted to charge us 10 baht to use the toilet. Plenty of better friendlier places to stay and we ended up moving to a better place just up the road after just one night.

Good location for snorkeling. Maybe not especially good for full-moon revelers.

Nice bungalows”

Our standard bungalows were spacious and well- designed, lots of natural light and ventilation. Large verandah out the front & small one out back for drying. Good menu & great Thai curries; can make without too much chilli , if you ask.

Avoid if you can”

Very lazy and unfriendly staff. Expensive. One lady who we met during the holyday negotiated a similar room for half the price we paid. Staff never cleans the room and you can get better quality food in other restaurants

First flop, then top”

The bungalow we got first was out of the beach with a view to the parking place of motorbikes. Terrible. Be careful not to get that type of house. After complaining and pay more we could move after one night from this awful place to a bungalow inside the beach which was really very nice. In our stay we had to move two times, the very helpful and patient lady at the reception did her best to optimize our situation. Because of many strong sea grass in the water it is not nice to swim. Always turn around your legs. Also the underwater world is poor, only some few brown coral and a few small fish. Not worth to go snorkeling. The beach itself is nice, you can walk some minutes and get over a little “water bridge” to the next little island.
