Good cheap motel for a week end in Ulsan”
As most motels in Korea, the price is very reasonable for the room you get : big room, double bed, clean, amenities, free wifi, and there is even a computer in the room. It is true that there is a club in front of the hotel, but we stayed there during the week end, and honestly we were not disturbed by the noise. Wifi can be erratic, but there are many places nearby with free wifi anyway. Mattress can be hard for sensitive backs. Motel has a central location (walking distance to bars/restaurants/shopping areas), the street where it is located is quiet though, which is appreciable. Make sure to know how to read the Korean name of the hotel in advance since the English name is not displayed.

Stayed for for two nights. The room was clean, fast internet. Friendly and helpfull staff. Need to know how to spell" Venus Motel" in Korean. I would stay there again during a visit to Ulsan.

Good Location and value in Ulsan ”
The best feature about Venus is the location, downtown Ulsan, in walking distance to the two major Bus Terminals, dining, shopping and nite life. For the English speaking traveling expat, just looking for a place to sleep, I do not think you could find a better place for your value. Nice spacious room, bathroom has a better than average Korean shower and there was a computer in my room. You can walk to tow major department stores, all kinds of restaurants, and there are a handful of foreign bars in the area.

The only problem is to find this motel. You better check how Venus is in Korean. Personel don't speak English but it's not a problem. Check in and chceck out goes very fast. The room is clean. Localisation is perfect.

Strategic location for food ”
We had a good time in this hotel, surrounded with so many restaurants. The exception is the parking space is too narrow for our mpv but we were allowed to park outside, the lights in the lobby and corridor are very dim. As usual, like other hotels we stayed, we are provided with the small bath towel and no toothbrush. So guest must bring their own toiletries.

Not too bad, the place appeared clean and fair value but access to parking was not clear and the reception was on 5th/6th floor. It was not easy to locate parking and had to pay for it elsewhere, since there was no parking on the street. Our reservation was made in advance, BUT our reservation was received by the Motel aboout 24 hours later!?
