Above Yeosu at U Castle”

We did not know what to expect when we booked, but when we got to Yeosu, we were pleasantly surprised to find that U Castle was above the new business section of Yeosu and was relatively newer and very clean. The rooms are gigantic as are the baths, and the view of the city and surrounding hills are quite spectacular. The downside is that the hotel does not provide lunch or dinner so you have to drive down to town to eat both meals. There is also a Korean sauna attached to the hotel as well as a wedding hall, both of which are very busy on weekends. Looks like the sauna is always busy actually. When you book at the hotel, you get free passes to the sauna. Definitely worth trying, and the massage and scrub are well worth the $50 price as well. Great breakfast buffet spread here included with your room booking booking. Fantastic value overall.

It was a good stay overall. The room was large and clean. View overlooking the mountains and city was excellent. Great place for relaxation. There is a hot spring sauna you can enjoy. However, even it was stated as breakfast included, you need to pay for the third person if you book more than 2 people. And breakfast was not fresh.

We were upgraded to a suite. Very big rooms and clean. Anyway every 10 minutes there was a noise from the ventilation system during the whole night. Therefore only 3 stars.

It is an older hotel. Back in the day it would have been a grand hotel. Everything is perfect. Location is a little far from everything but, if you are driving, it'll be fine.

This hotel has excellent accessibility to Luge Theme Park and various amenities in the city. Additionally, you can easily have meals delivered to your room. The room is also very spacious. However, the lighting is quite dim, and I think there is a need for improvement in this regard. Nevertheless, I had a great stay at a reasonable price without any major inconvenience.
