10/10 Recommend trying”

The room is not big, but you won't feel stressed, even in the washroom. It is also new and clean. Electronics, furnitures, power sockets are placed VERY thoughtfully, I could see the effort of the architect designing the room layout that enhances user experience. This is not the cheapest option you can find obviously, but I have never been this satisfied with hotels at this price point.

Good location/Love laundromat ”

The nearest exit is C6 with stairs so not recommended this exit for travelers with big luggage. In-room laundromat is truly useful. Echiko ikebukuro station is full of shops eg. Starbucks, Uniqlo, etc. Seibu is walkable from inside station. At Seibu 8F, you can enjoy Midori Sushi. Traveling with 24-hr Metro ¥600 is truly cost saving. You can visit top tourism locations with this card.

Great & Friendly Homestay Hotel”

This is my 3rd time staying at the hotel. Hotel keep up to the standard since my first visit. Hotel provides free coffee at the lobby from 12noon to about 10pm. Renovated coffee house and charges 1000 yen for breakfast. Hotel upgraded me to the Ladies floor corner room. Room no 1205 is great. Friendly hotel and keep up the great work.

Perfect location - Exit C1 Ikebukuro”

Located in West Ikebukuro, the fastest way to the hotel is via the underground passageway tunnel that connects the JR and subway stations. Find the signs for the "F" (Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line) and exit at C1 or C6 (C1 has a shorter walk and takes you right to the front via an alley). The hotel itself was great - includes a washer/dryer and is very clean and reasonably sized for a Tokyo Hotel room. The hotel is secured by encoded cards, non-smoking and quiet.

Enjoyed my 2 night stay here. Loved having a washer/dryer in the room (bring your own detergent). Do be aware that there are several “entertainment” outlets in the vicinity, but did not experience any trouble at all during my stay.

Convenient”

A few minutes walk to Ikebukoro St. which has direct Narita Express train. Many restaurants nearby, yet the neighbourhood is not too crowded. The room is clean but a bit small for two people. Staffs are attentive and welcoming, however they could improve on their English. Overall, we had a great stay.

Great value for money ”

Pros: room with washer. Near ikekbukuro fukutoshin line. Cons: no daily room cleaning. Only towel changing which is alright for me. Non-smoking room had smoke smell in the night. Poor ventilation system. Hotel is near exit C6 which has escalators. However if u are a JR pass holder and plan to take the JR line as your main transport mode, do note that the hotel is a bit of a walk (10-15 mins) from the JR line gate

The staffs paid attention to details and were helpful in answering my emails and in-person inquiries. Washing machine and microwave are provided in the room and the hotel gives out free laundry detergent. When going for a long trip, this is very important as we can do the laundry at our own pace. I personally find the bed is comfortable as I slept well after a long flight.
