We loved Tian Rui Super 8”

The staff at the Tian Rui is so friendly and helpful that you feel like you're staying with family. There is always someone with adequate English skills on staff. We were there on two different occasions in July 08 and found the rooms to be spacious, beds comfortable, air-conditioning great with the very hot and humid weather. We loved that is is a moderate sized hotel tucked in a hutong and not a mega high-rise. You can walk to Forbidden City and to the upscale nearby walking/shopping street. You can find the craziest street food right next to the Armani Emporium. Their breakfast buffet has both Western and Eastern selections and their lounge is very comfortable.

Lovely small hotel”

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Felt well cared for and as there was one particular member of staff who had a fair understanding of English this made it even easier. It was particularly enjoyable because it was in a quiet lane way where there were enough small eating places that meant I didn't have to go any further than there to eat well. Also a great breakfast is available within the hotel with meals to suit both western and eastern tastes. thank you staff at Tian Rui for making my stay so pleasant.

Great location”

Tian Rui hotel is a no frills hotel in a fantastic location. Staff were very helpful, beds were rather hard (but that's to be expected in China), breakfast was good and they have drinks specials which are great at the end of a long day. The rooms are nothing special, no english channels on the TV and no free tea and coffee, but for the price it was fine.

Great Location”

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the subway (Line 4 as I recall) and 8 minutes from Wangfujing Church, so it was a very good location. The place was a bit hard to find for some taxi drivers though, so eventually I found it easier to either tell them to go to the Church or I took the subway. I initially booked through the hotel's website and then found it was cheaper on Agoda so my next two nights were via Agoda. (I could tell the hotel wasn't too happy about that though!!). I liked the free wifi in the lobby and in the room too.

Decent hotel convenient to transport”

the hotel is tucked away in a tiny lane, but reasonably easy to find. it is only metres away from the metro, which was quite handy. the room was a little dark, but you can get a decent nights sleep. the room size was very good, with two double beds, and bathroom was on decent size. the cleansiness was average, not superb, but not disgusting either. the hotel is also close to some shops for eating, knick knacks etc. you can certainly walk to ti'ananmen square, forbidden city and old beijing. be careful not to book a taxi in peak hour. i asked the guy how long i should give it, and he said 15 minutes. so i played it safe and gave him 20 minutes. there was not a single taxi in sight for 30 min, in which he suggested i take the metro to get close to beijing west railway station (not connected by metro), it was a further 10 minute drive. annoyed and rushing, i managed to make by train with minutes. the english is ok at this hotel, much better than others. the wifi in the lobby was useful, but wished there was in-room internet as well.

AN ENJOYABLE STAY AT TIAN RUI HOTEL”

I like the hotel as the facilities and service are comparable to the more expensive hotels. The staff are friendly as well. However, it would be good if maps and brochures are made available in English. On the whole, I had enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Beijing.

Good location, small hotel but room just nice”

We stayed here for 3 night at the east of forbidden city so that we can see thing at these side conveniently. The hotel is located in a Hutong so with suitcase is a bit of problem to walk appx 300m to the end main road to get taxi, but other than that we find everything is fine, worth the value paid as its located at the center of attraction with subway to move about. At night there are lots of ppl having fun at the front yard of the church, some doing line dancing, ballroom dance , u can join them if u want to! In the morning we saw bride n groom taking photo ( winter) with just gown.

very Chinese”

Tian Rui is an old style hotel beautifully situated near the new Dengshikou subway station. Close to Wanfujing Dajie. It is a two star place but it is comfortable and clean. I have used this hotel over the years since 2004 and it has expanded but changed little. A fairly authentic experience.can be had.

Good location but poor hotel”

The hotel was convenient for getting around as the subway was 100 metres away. Also the price was good for the location. That's where the good points end. The rooms are dirty, don't move the beds, you will find a new Eco system under there and there is hair in the showers. The beds are extremely hard (I think this is a budget hotel thing in Beijing). The wifi is virtually non existent. Unless your downloading the odd email don't bank on it. Although the price is good it is no excuse for the cleanliness, that is the basic requirement of a hotel. Clean and comfortable this hotel is not.

Strategic location to key places of interests”

Generally had pleasant stay with very friendly and obliging receptionists, serene ambience and rather tidy room. No complaint but with an exception that the housekeeping tended to slack, always not replenishing/cleaning one or two items. For the strategic location (few minutes from the underground train station and walking distance to nearby other Hutongs for food ) and with the clean hotel, we think the pricing is very reasonable. For easy access by taxi from Airport, best to describe the Hotel as located at Baoshu Hutong next to Catholic Church of Wang Fu Jin Mainstreet. Taxi fare from Airport is about RMB80 and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Recommend that any room reservation be made via the net as it is much cheaper.

Large size for family room”

If use towels, please note don't make its dirty. The hotel will charge you. And every day you must count your towel, because when you check out, the hotel will check its. and if lose, they will charge you.

Good location”

a good location for visitors to forbiden city and tian'an men. very near mrt line 5 dengshikou station. room is not clean, need to keep complaining to the management to clean it. counter service staff is polite.

Very much satisfied”

Very much satisfied with the place. I was so happy coz I was able to hear mass on my birthday with the other family members.It's near also to the subway and to the shopping area.

Not good”

poor service, unhelpful staff, dirty bathrooms, smelled of smoke, unable to even get bottled water delivered to the room

メリット ・ファミリースイートに泊まったが男3人で使って十分広かった。 　ベッドはシングルが４つあった。 ・王府井に近く教会まで徒歩５分ほど ・地下鉄の駅に近く徒歩３分ほど（ただそのことに気づいたのはチェックアウトごろだった）フロントに駅への道、駅からの道の写真や地図があればよかった。 ・客が少なく、チェックインチェックアウトがスムーズ。 ・アメニティ問題なし デメリット ・場所が分かりにくい⇒タクシーで帰りにくい（最寄の地下鉄の駅まで送ってもらう） ・バスタブがない、シャワーの足元は少しヌメっとした。シャワーは天井に固定、手で持つ部分はない。洗面所とシャワー室の間に扉がない。（女性は気にするかも） ・部屋が暗い、電気が少ない気がする。暗くいい雰囲気というワケでもない。

꽤 괜찮았던 선택”

숙소의 위치는 정말 완벽에 가깝다. 왕푸징 거리까지 걸어서 10분도 걸리지 않는 거리이며 덴시코우역 코앞에 있다고 보면 된다. 시설면에 있어서도 괜찮았다. 패밀리룸에서 묵었는데 영미권 관광객의 침대가 딱딱해서 불편하다는 리뷰에 반해 침대는 충분히 푹신하다. 다만 샤워실에 물이 잘 안빠져서 좀 고생한 점은 감점 요인이다. 영어 가능 직원의 영어 실력은 아주 유창한 수준은 아니나 어느 정도 대화가 되는 수준이다. 물론 충분하게 친절하다. 식사는 호텔에서 해보지 않아서 잘 모르겠다. 왕푸징 거리를 포함한 베이징 동부 주요 관광지를 간다면 추천할만한 호텔이다.
