The best capsule hotel I have stayed. I stayed at the one in Narita airport too. And I definitely prefer this. STAFF The staff are so much friendlier (generally Taiwanese are very hospitable people I guess), and much more intuitive. Even though I have no problem speaking the language, I prefer to actually not speak in general. I was there before the check in time to leave my luggage, and wanted to explore Taoyuan a little, and will be returning much later into the night. The staff was able to pick up that I wasn't there to check-in and probably wasn't comfortable speaking, and asked if I wanted to leave my luggage and what time I will return , after he confirmed my booking particulars. Of course they probably have seen many travellers done the same thing, but I am just glad I didn't have to explain myself, and could just answer all his questions with 1-2 words answers or just nods. The night staff was also very detailed in her explanation of the DOs and DON'Ts of the hotel, and the instructions for checkout, since I will be leaving fairly early (4+am). Staff in this hotel were the best ones I encountered in my whole trip (across 2 countries and 4 different accommodations) CAPSULE The sleeping pod/bunk is VERY well designed in my opinion. Is spacious enough for them to section a small little desk where you can even have leg space for. You can definitely put your skin care there if there are any. Or other misc like medication or comb. The pod also looks cute hahah. There are no lockers to store your luggage separately, so you bring them into the dorm room. If you have never stay at a capsule hotel before, there is actually very little space for you to organise your luggage without blocking the walking path. For airport hotel though, most travellers probably will just stay 1 night, my advice is to separate pack what you need for that 1 night and the next day into a smaller bag that you can easily bring into the sleeping pod so you can sit on the bed while you organise your stuff, and you won't be too noisy if you check in late or check out super early, affecting the other guests. Since there are no lockers though. Definitely have a small bag that you can bring your valuables along when you go bathe or have a bag with lock. WASHROOM very clean. They provide a small towel upon checkin, so you can use that instead of bringing your own. There's also several Dyson hair dryers available to dry the hair. CONVENIENCE Is just right outside the food court , if you do not check in and out at odd hours, you should be able to get a decent meal there. If not, like me, check in after 9pm and out at 4am, the food stalls were all closed, but there's a family mart that's still opened (I didn't check if is 24/7, but it was opened when I went there after 10pm. ) Can get some snacks and water to last the night. Just right outside the food court, is the viewing gallery/ deck(? Can't remember what is called) where you can sit and see the beautiful night sky right infront of a portion of the runway where the plane taxi before they take flight and after they land. The sound of all those planes is very calming. And the jet fuel wind helps with drying of the hair hahaha. But is not opened 24/7. The airport terminal skytrain is also right below the hotel on level 3. But it starts service at 5am (apparently they do maintenance every night and is not in operation24/7), so if you have an early flight at the other terminal, you have to consider how you can commute between the 2 terminals without delay. I think there is bus alternatives? Train service doesn't start earlier than the sky train either.

Best thing is the location, its in terminal 2 level 5 of Taoyuan airport, just across the elevators to the departures/check in counters on level 3. Great for overnight stays when you have am early flight the next day. As usual for capsules hotels, it does get noisy so don't expect the quiet stay. Luggage storage space within each room is not the biggest bit still sufficient. The capsule and facility were nice and clean, staff were friendly. You can rent a free bath towel by signing up for a membership on their website. The showers had soap and shampoo and were really clean too. I would come back here if I have a flight in the morning.

My second time to stay at this capsule hotel. I checked in at 10pm and the staff member was professional enough to tell me how to use the facility smoothly. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained. Maybe I was lucky but the guests in my room were respectful towards each other and I slept well without being disturbed any noises. Thanks!

Gem at Taipei Airport”
Arriving from Indonesia late at night looking for hotel at airport. This adorable, classy, place was more than I could have imagined. Though capsule sleeping, it was great. The staff was accommodating, and lovely. Spotlessly clean. No problem sharing showers, or bathrooms. Everything is separated by gender. Other guests are really considerate. And the location- 5 the floor of Terminal 2 is perfect. Just outside the door is a large area with huge tables to hang out , talk on the phone or work on your computer. There’s an all night convenience shop too that sells some local food choices- perfect for midnight snacks. The capsule was spotless, with a dreamy fluffy pillow and comforter- mirror, electric outlet, and a privacy screen. Shoes go in a locker when you enter, so the carpeted floors throughout the place are clean. They speak great English, and were helpful and kind. Plus, they’ll also store your luggage for a small fee while you go on a layover tour. Loved this place so much. Really recommend, for those who want a cultural experience and don’t mind shared, unique accommodations.
