Best stay! :)”
We had the best time at the Post Hostel in Jerusalem. The staff was really super cool and helpful! The Post Hostel also offers various tours in Jerusalem. We arrived on Friday afternoon and did the Free Shabbat Tour with Shahar > best tour guide ever! The tour started at 6:15 so just right before sunset. It was a really magical experience to witness Shabbat at the Western Wall! The lobby, the balcony and especially the bar in the Post hostel was always a cool spot to hangout at and grab a beer after a long day of sightseeing! We felt very welcome and being warmly taken care of by all the staff members! We can dearly and highly recommend the Post Hostel to anyone travelling to Jerusalem! :) It offers everything you need for a perfect stay in Jerusalem! Thank you for everything and all the best! :) Sarah & Roman from Austria

Pleasant surprise in Jerusalem”
After reading many bad reviews about hotels in Jerusalem, and trying another hotel nearby we finally found The Post Hostel. As well as being reasonably priced with clean rooms ( we had a double with private bath) The Post Hostel do an amazing breakfast. We also arrived in time for a free tour to The Western (Wailing) Wall with Shahar. Amazing experience and a lovely group meal afterwards. Thanks Post Hostel for changing our outlook on Jerusalem.

An economical, clean and convenient hostel...”
Located at the decent area along the Java Road, the location of Post Hostel is just 7 minutes walk to the Java Gate of Jerusalem Old City. It's along the light-rail and convenient going to other places at the city. Dorms are clean and comfortable with delicious breakfast included. New City Hall is just opposite to the Hostel. Common area is ideal for group activities such as bible studies or sharing. Free music played by guests are enjoyable!

Excellent”
So much thanks for helping to the end of departing with the airport shuttle pickup confirmation recheck. Breakfast atmosphere is so nice, open appetite with much thanksgiving for the blessed abundance and variety, after long hiking trip. People who chose The Post Hostel enjoyed tours and onsite band concert very cozy. I love the honest hebrew juice merchant nearby with 4 &6 shekels choices fresh carrot juice by Jaffa Road and all book stores. Their printing machine shall be maintained rightly, printing boarding pass or travel documents as other lodging or asks back office to assist, hospitality service can charge as Safestay England systems professionally designed from Adaptors toothpaste gel photocopying etc. even with reasonable charge better than nothing due to cost concern. Staffs on the counter can have two between bar and receiption near 9am to 6 pm because many rooms many guests and Israel has so much to offer and to be explored but traffic system is complicate due to respected religion and tradition, especially during holidays even Wednesday can be Friday schedule Thursday has nothing running during Sukkot, not easy for guests to get used to. With dedication of all wonderful staffs, sincerely wish the State lasts forever to bless more admirers and guests of Amazing proof of Love of faithful ONE to Israeli good rulers overcoming any attacks and difficulties. Water price shall be raised higher, I would rather local people not be affected by tourists come and go, habits of usage as at their homeland much water sources. We shall pay back more where normal residents sacrificed peace, street cleanses, order, water, to maintain it together. Much love to new generation friendly special hard working people of this inherited only land.

it felt like a hotel”
Fantastic! We had a twin room with a large bed and our own bathroom, so it really felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The price is really good for Israel. It`s really modern, with a cool design. It`s not only located only 50m from the gate to the Old city, but just taking a walk toward the bus station will take you to pretty squares and a big market that`s open till midnight. Jerusalem is beautiful and it`s perfect to explore it from this location. I wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful people”
The Post is well located, it has a tasty breakfast but it’s strong advantage are its people. We were lucky to arrive at Friday afternoon and just after our check in we set off for a FREE tour to the Western Wall organized by the hostel. It was guided by Shahr who is not only a good tour guide but also a great person. He gave us insights into history of Jerusalem, every day life but also immediately became a friend. What a wonderful start of our trip to Israel!!!

Shahar was a great tour guide”
Great experience at The Post! The bar had cheap beer, the staff was fun and friendly, the fascilities were very nice with good privacy and cleanliness. Shahar did a great job on his west wall tour! Wifi was solid the whole time! They had fun events every day like pub crawling and open mic night. Overall great energy and great value in jerusalem. Walking distance from basically everything and right around the corner from the metro for anything further away.

Just amazing! ”
Best hostel I have ever been to. The breakfast is amazing, freshly made orange juice. There are events every day like city tours, beer tasting or a concert at the hostel. People are so nice and friendly. City Guide Shachar is just amazing!! Best guide of Jerusalem. I will miss the time there.

Great experience!!”
I absolutely loved my stay at The Post, it's by far better than what I expected from a hostel! The rooms were small, but modern and functional, it looked like everything at this place was brand new!. The hallways and the dining area are also gorgeous. My only criticism is that the housekeeping wasn't great, we got fresh towels every day, but they never made our beds, and I don't think they ever vaccumed. My friend and I especially enjoyed the free tours offered by the hostel, and the guide Shahar was great. The breakfast is just amazing, and the best thing: they have a orange juicer and offer fresh oranges to juice for breakfast!

Great location! Go on their tour of the Old City!”
Post Hostel was really well situated for sightseeing. They have partnered up with WizeGuidez for daily 1/2 day tours of the old city. Our guide was Ryan, and he was incredible. His knowledge of the city plus history and archaeology really gave life and meaning to Jerusalem.

Exceptional”
Amazing location just outside the Old City of Jerusalem, clean rooms, good breakfast, nice common areas (terrace!), friendly staff. To top all of it – great activities and tours: free or at reasonable prices. We really enjoyed Mea Shearim tour and Shabbat experience with Shahar :) I highly recommend this place!

Hostel that feels like a hotel”
One could easily mistake this place for a hotel, and, technically speaking, everything in this place could be found in a hotel except for the bunk bed dorms and the communal kitchen. I stayed in a dorm bed and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was incredible the first two days, but for extended stays it can get old eating the same thing every morning. Also the bar was a little pricey, but then again so is mostly all food and drinks in Jerusalem. I went on the free Friday night tour of the Western Wall with Shahar and he did an amazing job. Highly recommend seeing this place to start off Shabbat.

Exceptional”
I missed the flight to Tel Aviv and I couldn't stay at this hostel this time. However, received booking confirmation and thoughtful reply from the staff. If I have a chance to visit Jerusalem in future, definitely I will re-book at this hostel.

Charming ”
This was such a charming place. We had 2 Gallery rooms and they were so cute! The breakfast was quite good, same thing daily, but very good. Didn’t know we were so centrally located. Short walk to shawarma joints, supermarkets, drugstore, Old town,! Mamilla Mall & Notre Dame hotel. I also walked from Garden Tomb. We were quite happy with the Post.
