Orchid Hotel Mumbai”
Orchid Hotel Mumbai is excellently located at about 5 minutes drive from the domestic terminal, very convenient to arrive and check in almost instantaneously and also ultra quick departures. The hotel has a very convenient complimentary airport drop by a dedicated car. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. the buffet breakfast is pretty elaborate and good. Restuarant have plenty of variety. infact it has a very attractive Sunday brunch.The hotel besides other good features also is an Ecohotel, where it is friendly to the environment, so the next time you stay here you also contribute to the environment.

Excellent hotel for NESCO visitors”
The orchid is the ultimate place to stay at a budget with 5 star experience near the Domestic airport and the NESCO grounds. Travel Desk: Very functional and provides free shuttles to both international(15mins) and domestic airports(10mins). the drivers can converse in good english. They also provide cabs for daily use but it is slightly on the higher side as you can get the radio cabs at a cheaper price. Reception: This is the area where they can improve. Nothing to complain about their courteous welcoming or hospitality. But they are too slow to check you in or also finaly check out. Concierge: Very good hospitality. Provides good service. Dining They have plenty of choices for restaurants. South Indian, kebabs, north indian and also 24hr coffee shops. The in-room dining menu is also equally good. Sligtly pricier but still ok for a 5 star hotel. Swimming and Gym Small swimming pool Good for relaxation. Gym is well equipped for you to sweat it out after a tiring day of work

Nice Hotel ”
I was looking for a secure value to spend the night from my late arrival to Mumbai waiting for a next day connection for a national flight an I didn't wanted to risk in comfort or noise environment. In Orchid Hotel I found the correct measure of what I was looking for. A more than acceptable quality and attention for a more then reasonable rate. Exceptional security measures and good quality of service and attention if you are not in Mumbai as a tourist but just in transit.

Great hotel near the airport”
The orchid is 10 minutes walk from the domestic airport, and is a great upmarket choice, and despite paying much more than other hotel options, you get a lot more - spas, pool, and the layout and rooms were fantastic. The food is sometimes good, sometimes stale and/or overcooked which you wouldn't expect paying so much (coffee is bad for room service, not in cafe). Seemed overstaffed at times, and felt a little harassed by restaurant staff trying to draw us in - the reason we chose the hotel was to get away from being harassed on the streets! Pool is basic, but rooftop, with an ok view, and other options such as the fitness room and spa seemed good, although we didn't have the chance to use them. Definitely better than other hotel options in the area.

great hotel, near the airport”
the hotel is huge, a nice pool though the weather was a bit cold and not pool appropriate, the breakfast was ok, we tried of the restaurants in the hotel and both pretty good, the upstairs mexican place a nice place to have beer and the indian restaurant good. location wise: just a note that though it seems that it's very far from the real mumbai and there is no little shops or little restaurants around and just other hotels, you need to walk the nehru street pass the crossroads and you are in the middle of crazy mumbai!!! so no worries about that. as it's north mumbai, there are auto rickshaws right there and that's good too.

I was travelling alone and the hotel is very safe for women. Their food and service is simply awesome and the iceing on the cake is their concern for the environment. My stay was awesome and I will definetely stay in The Orchid the next time I visit Mumbai.

So close to the airport - not the sights”
Loved this eco-hotel! Stayed in the new rooms and much choice of dining options. The bathroom inspired me to upgrade my own. So close to the airport, but never heard a plane until I went on the rooftop for NYE celebrations. Boy, this hotel can throw a party and buffets - they made the buffets a work of art! Just such a shame that all the Mumbai attractions we wanted were at least 1 1/2 hours away. Loved Mumbai and this hotel was such a great place to stay while we explored this beaut city.

Spacious rooms and excellent service ”
Rooms and spacious with a decent sized sitting area . Check-in and checkout were easy and handled very professionally. The guys at the front desk. Kaplak, farhan, Nadeem and sagar are all very helpful. We stayed for 9 nights and had 2 adjacent rooms . Room we’re thoroughly cleaned and -Emelia, the House keeping supervisor was very courteous and would provide extra towels and toiletries whenever we needed Finally Orchid has 4 restaurants which expectional food in line with what you can expect at any Kamath restaurant around the world . We were allowed to have breakfast at 2 restaurants so always had a variety . South of The Vindhayas is a great restaurant to visit even if you are not staying there . It provides and South Indian Style cuisine in a sit down buffet style . All and all a very good vacation experience

this hotel is the ideal place to stay for a person who is in mumbai for business purpose. the hotel is very close to the airport, which is big plus point. the business center in the hotel has very good facilities. the hotel has a classy look and the staff is always very welcoming and well behaved. since i am a regular guest at this hotel, i am given a good spacious room every visit. the gym and swimming pool facilities are also great. i would rate this hotel as one of better ones, for a person whose there in mumbai for short stay particularly for business purpose.

Comfortable and friendly hotel”
Bit chaotic on pick up at the airport but greeting staff, hotel porters and check in staff all friendly and efficient. Plumbing problem with the first room we were offered caused us to move room (to a larger mini suite) which was well handled. Visit of our large party to the south indian resturant on the ground floor showed how flexible they could be... kids wanted burgers, adults wanted indian food and they accommodated us all. We've stayed at the Orchid a number of times and will continue to stay there whenever we are passing through Mumbai.

Guest Signature ”
I had a guest at your hotel Orchid. Unfortunately, the Tax invoice did not have the signature of the guest at the time of check out. I am told by your staff that if payment is done electronically, the signature of the guest will not show on the invoice. The reason for requesting for a Tax invoice is for the purpose of Audit. Hence; make sure that the guest signs before check out. Overall: Hotel and Service was GOOD.

Perfect Hotel near Airport”
A regular hotel for me to stay in Mumbai. sometimes it is priced slightly high. Old facility maintaining well as like a new hotel. very good rooms, spacious and clean. very good restaurants to have a heavy break fast, serving different varieties of food. both restaurants are very good in terms of quality and taste.

Superb staffs”
I was impressed with the staffs fulled with hospitality. When we had some problems, they gave us quick response and solved them. We ordered room dining in the first night, which was quick delivered and tasty food. Breakfast has various options of Indian style and Western one and fresh omelet was cooked when required. However, you might need extra time to get the hotel because of surprisingly croweded totraffic in Mumbai.

Awesome stay at the Orchid”
I stay with my mother at the Orchid for 4 nights. The service was amazing right from the time we stepped down from the cab. The check in was smooth. I wanted a wanted a brighter room and they we happy to change it. The house keeping , room service, the staff at the restaurant, to the bell boy and security all had a smile on their face and always ready to help.

The proximity to the airport helped. Staff and their hospitality was par excellence. Food was tasty too. Some dishes were expensive. Considering the weather of Mumbai in mind and that the hotel is mostly carpeted, the housekeeping should pay more attention to smell of dampness in the bathrooms. It would be good if a few frangrance dispensers are placed in bathrooms too. Rest all was very good.

Business-like and Comfortable”
Had a brief but pleasant stay at The Orchid. Checked in late evening, very professional and business-like front desk. Room service was excellent, in terms of quality and prompt service. Checked-out early next morning, so didn't get chance to try other amenities like the pool or gym. Check-out tends to be a bit chaotic here if there's a rush... Too many guests and too fee staff. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay in Mumbai in business.

I have stayed at the Orchid a number of times (5) for various long-haul trips from Australia and New Zealand and found the location good to start with - the rooms become "small" if you stay more than a couple of days! Service is always good (they are 'trained' to remember your name - always a nice touch!!)and the included breakfast will set you up for the day - you can enjoy a hearty meal, no worries!
