Highly Recommend. ”

Even standard room was very large and cleaning condition was great. Every staff we met in the hotel was very kind and helpful. We used swimming pool & sauna every day and they were also in good conditions. Breakfast was buffet type and generally good. There is a corner bar on 2nd floor. The price is very reasonable and evening staff was very kind :) Highly recommend this hotel and we are willing to stay at the Lees hotel next visit.

Family friendly. Kind staff. Quiet & Convienent Area. Decent breakfast ”

We are a family of four;my husband two teenage boys and me. This hotel helped us leave a great impression on us along with the city itself. We spent 5 days between January 18&22. Pros: lots of local restaurants and little stores. Pool and spa(make sure to check the hours and bring the whole gear including a swimming cap). Great soundproof room. Clean housekeeping. Cons: Nice breakfast but lack in variety for 5 star hotel. Mrt is bit far away for us Overall The Lees Hotel was an excellent one for my family!

I went to Kaohsiung with my mother and we had a great stay at The Lees Hotel. Strongly recommend this hotel. The room is clean and the staffs are very accommodating.

There are a lot of facilities. Dry and Wet Sauna, Enough size Swimming pool and tiny pool for kids. Also two restautants are famouse. All the staffs were really super kind so I was really happy with Lees Hotel. One of the old manager can speak very well, It was really helpful for us. How is it possible with this price. Too good for me~

Friendly staff and comfortable stay”

Saw the reviews from Agoda and it said it very good and decided to give it a try. Although it is a local hotel the service and facilities can easily compare with other big international chain. The location is close to Kaohsiung famous night market, about 15 mins and opposite the hotel, there's a frat sport shop that sell rest good sport shoes and clothing...

a very nice hotel next to Kaohsiung Cultural Center”

Elegant and luxurious, Lees did not disappoint. We have the 20th floor and the view of the city and Wufu road; just amazing and stunning. Beds are comfortable and the bath (with tub and walk-in shower) are large and comfortable. It is the only hotel around we found an indoor pool. The service is 5-star level. Only a few minor complaints: 1. pool closes 15 minutes before the actual closing time; swimming cap is required, and no children under age of six is allowed. 2. air vent is dusty and needs to be cleaned often (or have air filter put in). Noticed a layer of dusts settled on the lamp shade. 3. toilet flush is very weak 4. not really a complaint but it is 15 min walking from the nearest KRT station so be aware of that (especially during hot/rainy season)

Great Hotel”

We would like to thank the Lees Hotel staff. They were very friendly and they spoke English. From Jason (concierge) and his team and the reception staff, they made my wife, me and our twin boys very welcome indeed. They even sorted out our seats on the plane as I my Chinese was very limited. Great location (near the MRT) and great places to eat locally. Thanks again and we would definitely book again next year.

Great hotel but need improvement”

This is my 3rd time to stay in the Lee's hotel. The room is clean and big! Also, the service from the employee are really great and they can always come in a quick manner. However, to give the hotel a few suggestion hope you can keep improving. The Lee should represent the hotel quality in Kaohsiung. 1. Facility swimming pool: i choose the hotel as there is swimming pool can be used. However, the closet for the pool is really old and has quite some rust......also a lot of water on the ground. 2. Some smell when you walk out from elevator. you can feel a strong smell when walk out from the room, seems like the smell from carpet. hope you can do some improvement then can make the hotel a great place to stay. thanks.

A five star hotel”

The Lees Hotel location a bit far from their 捷运 (MRT) , walking distance take about 10mins (slow walk). Transport in Gao Xiong (高雄) overall is convenient. We like the 姜母鸭 , stall is opp the lane of the hotel. Will stay again in our next visit.

Great Hotel!”

We had a truly amazing time at this hotel. At arrival, we received a free upgrade of our room and we were able to stay in a really spacious and comfortable Lees Suit. The facilities are very good and the stuff is really professional and polite. I highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent”

Good hotel and excellent staff! But only one concern (probably just in my opinion) that everything feels old... the decor, the ambiance, all the appliances and electronics in the room. It is most ideal if you use the room just to rest. Kaohsiung is a great city and I found myself out and about most of the time. So, I'm okay with it. Will definitely stay at this place again.

Nice hotel, but nothing extraordinary”

We stayed here for a few days while exploring Kaohsiung, after getting a really good sale price. The hotel was a bit outdated, but was very nice. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The room was a bit musty smelling, because of, I'm assuming, the older carpets and furnishing. It was about a 10-minute walk to the subway system, which was fairly close. If we were to have paid full price for the place, I would maybe not think it was the best value for our money, as we didn't necessarily use all the facilities that potentially drive the price up. But overall, a nice stay.

Amazing service that I got from the hotel staff. First time in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and with language barrier, we were struggling on the first day. After getting assistance from the hotel staff who speak English fluently, my family had great time there.

ALWAYS A GREAT STAY!!”

My husband and I always enjoy this hotel. Staff is always kind and helpful. They make sure the cab driver knows exactly where we need to go. My husband and I appreciate the fact that the staff can mostly speak a fair amount of english. We have stayed here at least 6 times this year and we always love it. The hotel has a wonderful buffet as well with LOTS of choices, even if you prefer western food..there will be something for you. Equal to a 4 star hotel in the states, so this hotel is worth every penney. We paid around $87-100 USD for a room every time and have been exceptionally pleased. Also, there is a McDonald's and a KFC at the corner..walking distance..maybe 100 feet from hotel if you need a fast food fix western style. Great value for the money. Highly recommended! !

Pros: wifi is excellent; great location; sizeable beds; good fitness facilities; excellent swimming pool and sauna; checkout was extremely efficient. Cons: buffet breakfast is average; some of the gym facilities are old and need some maintenance. Overall, my kids enjoyed their stay and we had a great time. Thanks to Lees Hotel.

A well-maintained hotel with outstanding services and everything one could expect”

The 3rd time stay here and my 1st choice if I am to enjoy my sojourn in Kaohsiung. Out-performs most of the hotels in the old town area. The only thing I could complain is the over-cooled but barely adjustable air-conditioning.

Very good”

The Lees Hotel is a nice hotel. It's very clean in both common areas and the room. The room is also very comfortable. It's in general very quiet. The staff we encountered weren't all that great. Some were very friendly, some seemed very arrogant. We arrived by car and were unloading our suitcases from the trunk. For a good 5 minutes, nobody even cared to come out and ask if we needed help with two very large suit cases, or to give us some instructions about the parking situation. I find it quite disappointing for hotels of this grade. While it's a great hotel, I wouldn't recommend this to family who travel with young children. The pool doesn't allow kids younger than 6 or shorter than 110 cm. Our kid can already swim but was prohibited to enter the pool.
