Modern, Clean and spacious - we were really happy!”

The hotel is very new and modern, we only paid around £30 a night so it was very good value for money. Only criticisms would be; The staff do not speak very good English but are very friendly all the same. The pool bar is too expensive and the service was very slow. Apart from that, it was a great experience, the sushi in the Japanese restaurant was very fresh and they pool bar had a happy hour! Not only can you use the pool at the hotel but you can get a free shuttle down the road to a sister hotel and use their pool too. The smart-room control panel in the room that controlled all the lights and aircon was very convenient and something special for us, being travelers on a budget! We also looked at beach bungalows on the sea front, and they were around 1500 thb per night or more (the same, or more expensive than what we paid for the gallery) and in comparison the gallery was like a 5 star resort! We definitely would recommend booking the gallery especially for the discounted price on agoda - when we asked the price of an extra night at reception, it was 2047 thb

Our home away from home”

We stayed for 5 days and wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked according to Agoda. We were pretty satisfied with our stay (room 303). We had rented scooter so location wasnt a big deal but we're glad we chose this place. We thought it was central, but mostly because we had scooter. + Fitness room + Great private swimming pool + Access to Emerald Cove (their 5* sisterhotel) They have a larger pool right at the beach We recommend you rent a scooter so you can explore this lovely island. If going back to Koh Chang we would definitely consider this hotel again :)

Nice room and good staff”

That is the first time i traveled to Koh Chang with my boyfriend. The room was so good with soft bed, very clean,air con not work 100% but still impressed in their service. Hotel located in a good location but not near the beach. We can go to 5 stars hotel "The Emerald Cove" which is the sister of The Gallery for free. This place is value for money and we happy to stay there for 2 nights.

A good clean hotel with excellent service”

This hotel is very new and clean. It has a good location to restaurants and the beach (if you have a motor bike). It is the sister hotel to the five-star resort Emerald Cove Resort (400 meters from Gallery) and thus guests at Gallery are free to use the Emerald's amazing pool and beach facilities - huge plus. Additionally we were even offered one free massage of one hour per person - huge plus again. The only bad experience we had at the Gallery was the breakfast, it costed 350 bath per person and it was very poor. Recommended if you like some luxury and had to much of beach hut experiences already.

Good place”

I like the room and their facility. There are pool parties on Friday night and Saturday night. If u check in during those times, u will get a ticket for a free drink. Its over at 9 so u can move somewhere else, if u love to party. Nevertheless, Koh Chang is not party place in my opinion, more for chilling and relaxing. The emerald cove, the sister-brother hotel is very nice, so make sure u check it out. They offer you private beach and one more pool. It would take you 10 mins to walk there (staff said 500m, google maps say 900m lol) but totally worth it.

Good Value for money ”

But the handfull of street dogs on the pool side rooms bark a lot at night. Not the hotels fault, though. Nice sky bar, very nice rooms and stuff. Good location and free shuttle service. Not went swimming because had motorbike accident. Koh Chang Tattoo!!! 555 Be safe and thanks for everything.

A great break from home.”

The staff were really friendly and genuinely happy to help. We had an issue with the air con in the room and when we were reporting it to reception the owner/ manager was there and he personally sorted it out. We actually saw him everyday and he greeted us and spoke to us on every occasion. Whilst staying at this hotel you can also use the pool at the Emerald Cove which is located a few hundred meters away. I plan to return to Koh Chang in 2 months and i will definitely check this hotel first for availability.

A great break from home”

The hotel is fairly new and it is in a great condition. Room are tidy and clean. Hotel staff amazing. Very helpful and friendly. When you stay at this hotel you can use the facilities at the Emerald Cove ( 5 star hotel ). This explains why the hotel pool is empty. ( Which was great ). Next time i return to Koh Chang i will stay here again.

Good enough”

The hotel is near khlong prao beach. Good location if you consider to stay in between White sand beach and bang bao beach. Hotel staffs are good, but I faced a problem while staying in the hotel at night. Suddenly the electricity was gone in the room at the deep night and in the morning I complained the authority and they changed my room. I also made a request through agoda to them but they did not get the message. They told me why I didn't send them direct email. It was little bit of problematic for me. Overall the hotel is clean, staffs are helpful.

Not fancy but very nice”

Friendly service, decent rooms with enough international TV channels. Clean rooms bathroom clean and works fine. Step out of the hotel and you have a choice of booking booth for trips such as fishing and tours. In the same street you have great options for coffee, breakfast Lunch and dinner. Beach away 8 minutes and the price is friendly too

Exceptional”

Really enjoyed our stay at The Gallery. The pool is nice and the small gym is perfectly adequate for a holiday workout. The staff are all extremely helpful , professional, polite and friendly. Good beds. We would stay again.

Great stay”

While not located on the beach it's sister resort makes up for this being a 5 star location. On arrival I was upgraded to their largest room which was value for money as I only paid 45 Usd a night - being low season it was dead on the island but was a great hotel to stay at ! Recommend

Nice ,new hotel,good japanes food,nice cocktails at swimming pool ,and the pool working there till 1am what is actually wonder us cuz in other hotels and resorts the pool is closed much more early ,so can chill !!)) Friendly stuff ,,used to help us in all out requests ! Good price. Recommend !

Excellent”

Having breakfast every morning was great! The food menu changed everyday and it was delicious. The music was comfortable and the staff very polite. The elevator, the Parking and the security of the building was very good. Of course not having a beach near by is not great, since we had a car we drove everyday to “The Cape Restaurant” which had a private beach, we paid 150 baht for two people and they had massage available, restrooms, shade and two laying down beach chairs with cushions. The beach was nice and the view was great.

Great Location”

Lovely hotel, great location for beach, sunsets & restaurants. Has a lovely pool area. Bedrooms are clean & very comfortable with a nice hot shower. Have stayed here twice before & the thing that lets it down is the breakfast, very poor standard & quality, sometimes the eggs (always fried eggs) are inedible. Not much choice for either European or Asian. Need to up their game to make this a fantastic hotel.

Very clean”

Stayed in a family room which was very big, but absolutely no view. The only windows in the room are the sliding doors through which you enter and to keep it private you must shut the drapes which leaves no other natural light. Besides that, the room was very clean with a nice jacuzzi tub to relax in. The bed was very comfortable. Despite what others said about the noise on the rooftop lounge, we could not hear a thing. Hotel is located just a short 5 minute walk from the beach. Will stay again.

Enjoyed my stay at "The Gallery" found the staff pleasant and helpful. The rooms are of a good size and cleaned daily. There is a small gym and a pool. Would recommend.

Happy customer”

Very happy with stay. Only recommendation is that to change towels less if they are not on ground. We hung up towels and found new ones every day that were not needed. The island is very sensitive to environmental waste and needs to be considered. Excellent hotel.

Good place, bad maintenance”

The hotel is located in a good area and overall ok. The beach at emerald, which you are allowed to use, is quite nice. Unfortunately the maintenance on the hotel is bad. Rooms seems clean only at the first glance. The pool is nice but the grout between the tiles is missing leaving many sharp corners.

We had a lovely stay,I find it very hard to find anything wrong with this hotel, the only thing I can think of is the bacon at breakfast time, but I've never had good bacon in Thailand ever,have you?highly reccomend this hotel will definitely stay here again.
