Cute place”

Great little place. Is it worth the price? Yes if you can get a discount. Location is great as it has it's own little section of beach, however the location to town and the pier is really far and out of the way. The beach has very little sand space as most of it is giant rocks. I enjoyed myself thoroughly when nobody was on the beach. When others were there it was verybloud as the sound echoed. The breakfast as great. The other menu items are quite expensive. I overall recommend it as it is one of the nicer resorts on Koh Lipe.

Great view and nice staff”

Superb high panorama sea view and tranquility, I am extreamly enjoyed staying here in Jaqucci room type . The room is clean filled with facilities and comfortable.Moreover, I am very impressed all staff ; They are very helpful, spontanous and Service minded. Breakfast and room service are good. I would recommend the signature coctail and coffee ( The Best coffee in Lipe I have ever tried). The hotel provides snockeling and cayaking for water activity in front of hotel's private beach or private trip to nearby island. I love this hotel and will certainly back here again when having a chance.

Fantastic ocean veiw and wonderful room layout”

I stayed at Pool Villa 1 for 3 nights. First I stunned by fantastic point of view from my balcony in room area. Room layout is very surprised me very large personal area suit room with pool and also outdoor bathtub. Great room service (a bit slowly respond but acceptable) Personal pool is very nice clean and clear water among the beautiful trees and amazing ocean view. If you looking for some activities around here try go to the beach front and contact Mr.Charlie at dive shop there are snockeling and kayaking as free service here, Charlie is a multilanguage who can speaks Eng, Thai, Chinese, German, etc. you are very helpful, I'm appreciate that!! The last from my tip. "You must come lipe once in your life"

Beautiful location and view beside the beach”

I stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite and the room has an amazing view overlooking the sea at sunset beach. The jacuzzi was huge and the staff helped set it up. Waking up in the morning facing the clear ocean was such a beautiful view. The beach is private for guests therefore it is much quieter and cleaner. The resort provides free mask and lifejacket for snorkeling. Breakfast at the hotel was good as we can enjoy the unobstructed view of the ocean at their restaurant. The staff there were polite and helpful. They provide us with free transportation to our next destination in the island. However, the hotel were slow to reply to emails during booking where we requested for pickup from the jetty during our arrival. The hotel is quite far from walking street and other parts of the island. The hotel provides free transport to walking street but we had to take a taxi back. So unless you are looking for more activities and night life, this is great for a quiet stay to enjoy the sea and beach.

Nearly but not quite.”

Booked this hotel on Agoda based purely on the pictures of the jacuzzi rooms overlooking the ocean. The room not only lived up to the photos but exceeded all expectations. Sunset beach is without doubt the best location on the island. The hotel is only 7 months old and unfortunately there are some teething problems. Power was cut for about 4-5 hours on the first day of our stay rendering both aircon and water pressure in the room useless. There was a beautiful new big flat screen TV on the wall that was wasted as no TV service was available during the period of our stay. Yes I know you don't go on holiday to watch TV but it's quite isolated at that end of the island and it would have been useful. The advertised wifi was also out of service for our stay. Mobile coverage was poor at best and staying in touch with family was challenging. Those problems aside the biggest issue I saw was just the lack of attention to the surroundings. The hotel site suffered from an excess of plastic bags, bottles and assorted remnants from the building process scattered around the site. The beach itself suffered the same fate including an old oil pan off a car that was laying around. There were also bits of broken glass in the sand. Staff would rake the area every morning but it would take a mere 30 minutes to clean up the stuff laying around. This hotel markets itself at the top end but lacks the polish to see it compete at this level. OK enough of the bad. The view from the rooms is nothing short of exquisite. It is far and away the best view I have ever had anywhere in the world. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was top class but priced accordingly and yes I know everything has to be shipped in from the mainland. The hotel organised a snorkelling trip on a long boat that was excellent and well priced. With a bit of attention this hotel could be absolutely fantastic but at the moment a few small niggles hold it back from being all it can be.

Beautiful private beach”

Beach in front of hotel is private and super clean. Water is so clear and for me the most beautiful in Lipe island. Staff was friendly and helpful. They picked up from the point that speed boat dropped you. Room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends

Very good”

The location is quiet with a small private beach area. We stayed for 5 days at one of the villas with private pool, the view at the terrace is amazing and we liked the furniture and style a lot. The staff is helpful, friendly and the hotel offers transfer to other parts of Koh Lipe, kanu & snorkeling equipment for free. Breakfast is good as well. Nevertheless in total we must say that our stay was wonderful but overpriced due to pool and bedroom was visible for passing other guests and the housekeeping should work more precise.

Amazing sunset”

Located in sunset beach, with steped bars on the cliff appreciating the sunset! Close to the Pataya Beach as well, you can easily get there within 10 minutes walking! Highly recommend this hotel if you want to see the sunset on this beautiful island!

Best and perfect environment”

We have stayed during the new year season. Weather is so nice and we have enjoyed lots of experience at Hotel private beach. It is quiet and not so many people were there. Sea is clear and we easily saw lots of tropical fish near the beach, by using snorkel equipment with kids. This hotel is 5 minutes from Pataya area by bike taxi, and private beach is not so big. If you prefer the wide beach which has typical white sands, you can visit other beach in this island. It is located near the cliff, so sea view from the area is great, but you had better always watch kids, for there may be some risks.

The room is new and clean. We booked a table for dinner and watched the sunset, it was really beautiful. The food was good. We enjoyed the breakfast and the view of the hotel! They also provide free kayaking and they pick us up for free when we arrived at lipe

I stayed in Jacuzzi 5 room from December 23 to December 25, 2018. The room location was great and provide a excellent view of the sea. The resort is situated in Sunset beach side so it is more calm and private compared to Sunrise or Pattaya beach. To access the main walking street, you can take hotel shuttle or hire a motorbike taxi or, if you prefer, you choose a short 15 minute walk. The service and staff here is top notch. The staff were very friendly and quick to respond to our requests. The downside is the maintenance. Many parts of the room looked dated and some parts are not well maintained. The bathroom downstairs are old and could be better designed. I see that there are constructions in the resort area so it is possible that they are renovating the rooms.

Awesome time in Lipe ”

Koh Lipe has one of the clearest sea water but may be due to off season, the water @ sunset beach is murky and way below my expectation. Sunset beach is also far from Walking Street and other beaches , so, if you like a secluded area and do not mind travelling to eateries with "Taxi"s, this resort is gonna be on top of your list. The view from the resort is way overrated so please do not just come here for the scenery. Food served is mediocre and way more expensive then those available at Walking Street . Overall , i did enjoy my stay but to do it again here? I will think twice.

Wonderful hotel with magnificent seaview”

We spent 3 nights in The Cliff Pipe and we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious and clean, the only down side is the design of the shower room. The breakfast of the hotel was great and delicious, and the best thing of this hotel is they do provide free transfer to walking street, and unlimited usage of snorkelling gears and canoe.

Best hotel on the island”

Very beautiful resort and the perfect place for a romantic holiday. The view from the restaurant terrace is amazing. You can see the best sunsets from there. The private beach is also very nice.

Quite. Good for a couple who wants to spend private time!”

Far from the busy part of the island. It is a good place to relax with privacy. There are less than 15 rooms in this hotel so you can have private and quiet time on your vacation. The island is small you can just walk to the market to get something to eat and come back at the hotel. There is a small private beach down the cliff, good for doing abit of snorkeling. Recommanded.

Quiet place with good snorkelling”

This was our second visit and we chose a room in the garden under reception. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable and the a/c worked well. The bathroom was ok but the shower had to be handheld or else everything got wet. The owner said he would change it to a rain shower head which would help. There are steps down to the restaurant and then to the beach. These are different sizes so can be awkward. The staff are all very friendly and helpful but as on much of the island English can be a problem so be patient. Walking street is 15 minutes walk and a lot easier than catching a taxi back as the road is scary in parts. Breakfast has the same choice everyday which I didn't mind as most of us eat the same thing everyday at home. There were about 7 choices including dim sum , congee and an American breakfast. We're hoping that there will be a Thai option next year. The beach out front never has more than about 6 people on it. The snorkelling is good. This place suits what we want and we can overlook the odd shabby bit. There are promises of sprucing up in the off season and three new rooms are to be built.

We paid too much for little pros and a lot of cons. We’ve been trying to keep in touch with The Cliff Lipe all day for pick up from Sunrise Beach but no one replied, until a helpful local at the beach helped us call them. When we’ve arrived at the hotel, they were fully booked and gave us a room of a lot lower standard than the one we’ve paid for. They told us we can move into the bungalow we’ve booked tomorrow and told us the lower standard room is the same price as the bungalow and refused to refund the difference. We got bed bug bites all over our body from the lower standard room and also had barely slept from the constant stomping of the reception area above the room. After moving into our bungalow, the housekeeping was poorer the day after the next, always less towels than the day before, sometimes just a pile of towels on our bed and not on the towel rack. The staff were nice but close to zero English. It’s nice that the hotel has a private beach but there’s lots of trash.

breathtaking views/underwhelming service&breakfast”

The location is amazing, as is the view from the jacuzzi villa over the Andaman Sea. The staff lack professionalism, reception not very well organised. Rooms are quite small, ants in the room, view from balcony simply stunning, jacuzzi is great asset but unfortunately gave off a terrible stench when used without bath foam. Housekeeping does not do a very thorough job, cleanliness leaves to be desired. Breakfast was horrible (bread from plastic bags with jam, eggs could be made to order though) and at 200 euro a night there was a surcharge for fresh orange juice. Overall: if you can stay here at an interesting price (less than 100 euro), please do so because the views are breathtaking & Sunset Beach is by far the preferable option on Koh Lipe. Unfortunately, erratic service & the horrible breakfast are far below what one would expect from a hotel that charges 200 euro/night.

Lovely charming accommodation ”

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms are beautiful, the beach is very nice, the view is a big wow and the services is great. In the jacuzzy balcony we barely had hot water but in the pool villa we had excellent water with good pressure and very hot. Just that this hotel is just bit expensive compare to what you can afford at the exact same price elsewhere, is the same price as for example kandima maldives,... ect but again is a very nice place ^^ definitely will stay again.
