Claridges--a classic at the core of Delhi”
Before arriving at the Claridges, I'd spend two days at the Shangri-la. And, of course, the Shangri-la was, as you'd expect, absolutely splendid. So I didn't know what to expect when I followed on my stay at the Claridges. It could have been a let -down. It wasn't. Far, far from it. Rather, my stay there was simply perfect and wholly exquisite. The attention to detail, the courtesy service, the colonial-era atmosphere was transformative, and a pleasure that echoes in my mind until even today. So if you're looking for an atmospheric, idyllic alternative to all those other gilded hotels in Delhi, I can't recommend Claridges enough. In a word, it's elegant, and then again has nothing but style. A grand hotel in the intimate tradition of grand old hotels. Of note, of course, is the ubitquitous manager who seems to be there just when you need him, each and every time. He makes the place purr. So when in Delhi, stay at Claridges. It's a grand old hotel that won't let you down. Not once.

Warm and helpful staff”
I was impressed with my 2 nights stay at The Claridges from the airport pickup till I left the hotel. We were delighted to find out that we were upgraded to a suite which is decorated with fresh and beautiful lilies. A big shout out to our driver Bhagat Singh Yadav who was super polite kind and helpful to us who were first timers in India. He was receptive and accommodating to our requests and gave good and sincere recommendations. I will definitely recommend him to anyone who stays at Claridges. The Claridges is in a good location and near to Lodi Gardens, India Gate and Khan Market for shopping. We hired Bhagat for 4hours (Rs2500) who drove us to meet with a local rickshaw driver who rode us around in Old Dehli for 2 hours (Rs1000) which was a great experience. Later we experienced the New Delhi with a short drive around Connaught Place and then shopping at Khan Market. We took tuk tuk back to hotel which costs us about Rs50. I will be definitely return.

Luxury five star hotel a t a reasonable price”
Claridges really set the standards for five star hotels in New Delhi. The rooms are of a very high standard and the various choices for dining is fantastic.A lovely swimming pool with poolside service for drinks and snacks. The staff could not have been more helpful and there service was unobtrusive ,unlike other five star hotels in Delhi. I recommend Claridges ,without any hesitation and it will be our first choice next trip to Delhi

Quality Hotel, More Suited to the Mature”
The Claridges is an upmarket hotel, an oasis in Delhi, but probably best suited to an older more mature guest. We found it very hard to find good quality and reasonable accommodation in Delhi, so we had to up our spend to get the quality we required. The hotel is well cared for, the staff extremely polite (perhaps too much (meaning there's little space for character to shine)), the pool is very good and the breakfast particularly impressive. After 18 days in India we were able to enjoy foods we hadn't found (or couldn't safely eat in that time). Phone calls (to local numbers from room) are very expensive. Disappointed that internet wasn't complementary. I took pleasure in arriving to a hotel like this in a lowly tuk-tuk but they wouldn't allow the tuk-tuk in the front gates.

Simply marvellous”
I loved staying at the Claridges. It is an old-world hotel located perfectly in central Delhi. The staff go above and beyond to make a guest's stay comfortable. I would particularly like to commend Ritesh and Supreet (I may have gotten the lady's name wrong) who let me check in four hours too early and check out four hours too late without any extra cost. The hotel also takes Covid precautions very seriously. Further, they have some great restaurants. The Claridges is like an oasis of peace and convenience in an otherwise very busy city. I recommed the hotel wholeheartedly and I would love to stay there again.

Exceptional”
Despite not being able to enjoy the pool due to the very cold Delhi weather we enjoyed our stay at The Claridges. The staff quickly accomodated our request for a room with more light. The hotel is located in a very nice part of New Delhi and is also relatively close to the international airport.

Retreat from the heat”
Located in the Consulate area of New Delhi, The Claridges is an oasis reflecting a past era. Spotless throughout, and well appointed guest rooms. A lobby area that meanders and provides quiet corners. Service that is without fuss or bother. The pool area is well serviced and a welcome retreat after hot days exploring the old city. Very reasonably priced. Definitely stay again.

One Night...”
We booked our stay at the Claridges Hotel for one night, as we were departing Delhi the extremely early the next morning. As a result, we wanted to make the most out of our brief stay. We Checked in around 8 pm, refreshed ourselves and immediately headed down to the gift shop to purchase last minute travel gifts for friends and then moved to Jade for Chinese dining. Our server was amazing and the meal was good - was particularly impressed with the recommended wine choice. Afterwards we stopped by the Whiskey Bar, where my wife requested an Apple Martini... The bartender wasn't aware how to make it, but did a quick research and ended up making the best apple martini that my wife had ever had .... Perfect way to end the night and rest before a super early check out at 3 am....

great everything”
we arrived early am so our room wasn't avaiable yet. While we were having breakfast a staff member came to tell us a room was ready - a wonderful boon after travelling all day & night.I noted it wasn't a Claridges room as paid for,but we were so glad to have A room I said nothing. On our return visit 5 days later we were given a suite,of which we can't speak highly enough - our only regret is that we didn't have longer to enjoy it!Staff were very helpful in advising us in things we wanted to do & helped with arrangements.Thank you The Claridges for a memorable stay in Delhi

Great Stay. Great service. ”
Central and grand. Good sized room with seperate living area and large bathroom. Bed was great and we rested well. Hotel offered us an Audi and driver for two days for site seeing at a most reasonable cost. They took us and picked us up from the airport three times at no charge, most hospitable. We did book club level and can recommend this level of luxury as money very well spent. The pool area is great. Thank you to all staff who looked after us so well. When in New Delhi you should consider this beautiful hotel.

Excellent”
We are two very different generations who all agree that Claridges is a wonderful hotel. The ambience is majestic while still retaining a homely and personal feel. Staff are warm, welcoming, kind and considerate. A really lovely place to stay in New Delhi. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay and Great Location”
The Claridges in Delhi was a fantastic place to stay. The location is in the heart of the city but you hardly feel it as they have created a fun yet relaxing atmosphere. The food, especially the restaurant Dhaba, is worth returning for. The staff was accommodating in every way possible. The only way I would recommend improving the hotel would be to make the gym facility larger. Otherwise highly recommend the hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel. We arrived ridiculously early but were still welcomed. ”
The only con was the plumbing. I was awakened around 1am but next door room who seemed to run 3 baths one after another. The water running was very loud. We were given an early check in for 5000 rupees. We had to wait for a room to become free at 6am until which time we were offered a very comfortable corner of the lounge and tea. We were going to brave the buses and metro but the staff offered us a driver at a price that was tempting enough for us to opt for this 2 days running. It was bliss. A luxury car amidst the chaos. The driver quickly gleaned what we wanted and made perfect recommendations. He did try to persuade us to do some shopping but our adamant no was listened to. The hotel restaurants are reasonably priced. Beautiful lawn out front and pleasant pool area shielded all sides. Somehow they manage to shield the guests from the dust of Delhi. Details are wonderful from jasmine aroma in the lobby to vanilla and honey toiletries . World class hotel in leafy area escape pollut

Relaxing stay in New Delhi”
I stayed at The Claridges for a night before flying back to Australia. . I was looking gor a relaxing, hassle-free stay and that's exacgly what I got. This is a wonderful hotel in a great area. A little bit of luxury in an otherwise hectic city. After a hot day of sightseeing and shopping the pool was a great reprieve as well. I'd definitely stay again if in Delhi.

Most welcoming, caring, reasonably priced five star hotel in exclusive location.”
This hotel in colonial building in Lutyen's leafy green Delhi, is ideally located. Immaculately clean, staffed by friendliest, most helpful, courteous staff, it has all the amenities of a five star hotel. The room I stayed was like my own bedroom in my UK home. Bathroom-toilet was well stocked. Separate shower unit was spacious, beds very comfortable, linen neat and clean. There was always someone from. Housekeeping to address any concern. Breakfast selection has limited item for western guests, but if one enjoy indian cuisine, then there was plenty to choose from. The Dhaba restaurant is a must visit place to enjoy quality indian dishes, expertly prepared by and under supervision of master chef Mr. Sweety Singh, a gem of a man. He mixes with guests, help select items which makes all the difference to the experience. I am looking forward to my next visit in March, 2017.

Very comfortable hotel!”
Excellent beds, we slept so well. Location is very near Khan market where we had most meals. Since it was so hot in Delhi when we were there, we spent most of the day in the room. Housekeeping deserves a mention too for cleaning our room beautifully. Room service meals could be cheaper though, we would have ate in then. Security guys in the front of the hotel were very friendly. We would stay here again.

Excellent location for business in Central New Delhi area”
Great location, comfortable rooms and efficient service. Great for business trips to New Delhi, especially if you have work in the heart of New Delhi. Near most ministries and away from the noisy shopping districts. Also a great location for after-work meetings.

Bang for the buck classic 5 star ! ”
Beautiful old world charm property , Staff and amenities. Warm courteous staff representing classic indian hospitality. Bang for the buck with regards to rooms pricing . Extremely sweet staff who helped us with both an early check in and late check out for either of our 2 rooms . Warm and hospitable staff ! Kudos . In room and restaurant dining is pretty strangely priced (much more than much higher standard hotels in delhi - for eg rs 1300 for a very ordinary veggie burger, 250 for a Diet Coke ! ) . Rooms need a through cleaning - and maintenance/ upgrade . Especially during covid times some aspects need a through deep clean - the balcony furniture , curtains , carpet , and especially the mini fridge seemed like they needed to be destroyed or deep cleaned thoroughly ! All rooms are differently sized , so it’s difficult when 2 rooms are booked of same category but are so different in size and placement . Rooms need to be better categorised , for example one of our 2 rooms was atleast 30% smaller than the other , and the room opposite line was much larger than even the larger of our two rooms ! And all were the same category ! Over all kudos to the staff and team - all do a stellar job ! Housekeeping, front office , breakfast restaurant, bell desk , etc staff is excellent all over. But hotel needs to reduce dining costs to match room costs , and generally give the property a deep covid compliant cleaning . Will definitely stay again ! And would rate 8 stars out of 10 for over all value comfort and above all hospitality.

Excellent Hotel”
It was our first time in India, and this hotel gives you more than what you expected. The cleanliness is superb, lighting is good and their staff are so attentive and really treat us like we are very important. The location is good, not far from train station and market. The breakfast buffet is nice, many options and also tasty. Overall, a luxury place to stay in New Delhi.
