Quiet, private and heaven on a busy beach”

We spent total of 4 nights here at Ten Moons Lipe Resort and we wish we had more time here. Ten Moons is on the very end of Sunrise Beach which gives you that kindly of quietness and private on this busy beach. The room we had (no. 18) was magnificent. We had this picturesque view in front of our eyes. The resort is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. the beach is beautiful - white sand, warm crystal clear water and a reef just off the beach that is full of many colourful fish. Be respectful, and dont stand on the coral. This is a living organism and will be damaged or die if it is stepped on. One thing to note is that there are stairs to climb. If you cannot climb lots of steps, be sure to book a room right on the sand.

We loved our five nights at Ten Moons and would recommend the resort to anyone traveling to Koh Lipe. We were two families with 8 children collectively, ages 5 to 13. Ten Moons was absolutely perfect. The beach is the best on the island, with rocks to climb on, shallow water to wade in, lots of space for sandcastles, good visibility from the terrace for the parents so the kids can play in the water independently, a fabulous tree for the kids to climb on and play in, hammocks and a swing, and decent snorkelling right off the shore. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was tasty and copious, the rooms were quiet and spacious. The resort offers free use of their snorkelling equipment. We will definitely return if we get a chance!

An Exceptional Experience at Ten Moons on Koh Lipe”

Stunning location - surely the best on Koh Lipe, rising up the hill over the most beautiful end of sunrise beach. The cabins themselves are beautifully decorated, with a lovely balcony with views of the beach and the turquoise waters inside the reef. The staff were wonderful, starting with the owner who made us feel truly welcome, and the rest of the friendly resort staff. Food at the restaurant was also excellent. We will remember this exceptional experience for a long time and would happily recommend Ten Moons to friends and family.

Beautiful resort with amazing beach!”

Pros - getting picked up on arrival beach and taken to beautiful Ten Moons was perfect! The two beaches are the nicest on Koh Lipe wth the best sand, and great snorkeling without the worry of long tail boats! The staff are so nice and helpful (found my missing luggage for us and had delivered to resort). There were beach toys for kids and a giant flamingo floatie for my family to enjoy :) also snorkeling equipment for everyone to use whenever we wanted. There are some stairs but totally fine and the great view rooms have an amazing view - worth the 2 min walk! Would stay here again for sure. We loved it!!

Beautiful location on wonderful island!”

Spent quite some time researching where to stay and definitely made the right choice! The location is fantastic, wonderful bar/restaurant with friendly staff and amazing views from the rooms which are nestled in the hill. Short walk along the beach to Walking Street so perfectly placed to stay in or go out. The rooms are clean and good size, don't expect 5 star luxury (it's a small island!!) but we were very happy indeed with our little slice of paradise! We hope we go back to Koh Lipe one day and wouldn't hesitate to book Ten Moons again. We absolutely loved it!

So beautiful”

The resort definitely had the best beach and sand on the entire strip. It contained the best place to snorkel with tons of coral reefs and fishes and the snorkel gear is all free to rent. The staff was all very attentive - they picked and dropped us off from Bundhaya Speedboat. The food is delicious however more pricey than going into town but that is expected for the view and location. If we were to come back to Koh Lipe, we would definitely come back to Ten Moons!

Exceeded our high expectations!”

We are teachers, entrepreneurs, and veteran travellers to Thailand for over 25 years, so we have high expectations and look for authenticity, quality, service, good food, and value. It was our first trip to Koh Lipe, as we felt that our old tried-and-true island, Ko Samet, had built up too much. We stayed for 6 nights, but only the last 3 at Ten Moons, and they literally made the trip for us wonderful. Pluses: bungalows are spacious and the view is unrivalled, amazing! Our room (#10) was in a corner, and just in front there were a couple trees where mynah birds had a nest and sang every morning. The service is truly outstanding, they made you feel like a million bucks from check-in (thank you Mo!) and it stayed that way. when I needed to print out a boarding pass last-minute—all done immediately and with a smile. Ten Moons Resort was our Last stop and the best. The Resort exceeded expectations ”

The only negative thing about the resort is they do not have a pool, but with a private beach and the Addaman Sea at your door step who needs a pool. Also no need too hire a tour company too go snorkling as Koh Lipe is surrounded by Coral Reefs and directly in front of the Resort is Awesome snorkling. We would highly recommend Ten Moons Resort and will definitely return in the future.

Loved every minute”

We stayed 7 days but wish it had been longer. Best location, 10 mins to walking street and loads of other bars and options on Sunrise Beach. There is a lovely laid back atmosphere, helpful, friendly warm staff. Great food and drink and that beautiful small but perfect beach right out front. We had a sea view room with a couple of flashes of sea(perhaps some tree trimming might help☺️). It was private, simple, spacious and perfectly adequate. Will possibly be in need of some updating-bathroom is dated, bed fairly firm and linen needs replacing etc. We would have liked some candles or fairy lights on the deck to enjoy the ambience in the evening and another mirror please in the bedroom. It’s impossible to see. We really did have a fantastic time and would go back in a heartbeat. Very special place and love Koh Lipe.

Super location, good food, helpful and friendly staff”

Very beautiful location at southern end the most beautiful beach of the island. Private beach, not crowded and no longtail boats blocking the swimming area like at the rest of the beach and at the other beaches. Very good food in the restaurant, various selection for breakfast, reasonable prices for food, beer and cocktails. Please consider that prices on islands are always higher than onshore, in particular in the south of Thailand. Staff was always friendly, helpful and attentive. Booked my trip down there with Air Asia Island package from DMK via Hat Yai with Minibus and Speed Boat direct to Sunrise beach. Ten moons team picks you up with longtail at the beach and returns you to the pontoon when going back for free. Very good service, without any delays! Again many thanks to the team and special thanks to the kitchen team and the owner Jose. He was always very helpful and giving good tips where to go. Would definitely go there again. 10 STARS and worth the money!

Ten Moons is located at THE BEST beach in Koh Lipe. The staff are super sweet, the bungalows are comfy, the beach is the smoothest, water the clearest, and the views are just wild! We stayed in a beachfront bungalow and were so glad we did -- it felt like the private beach vacation home of our dreams. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

We have been in Thailand more than ten times and seen many places and experienced a lot of hotels. Now we can say that this family at Ten Moon has given us the best hospitality that you can wish for. Everyone working at the hotel saw us everyday, gave us five star service and made us feel at home. Our room had a fantastic view and was big and comfortable (Nr 22). We really appreciate that they have these big water bin in the room instead of small plastic bottles. Ten moon really show that they think of the environment. We also had the best Espresso Martini in the bar, thank you Ibiza guy :) We had some lunches and dinner at the restaurant and all the food were really tasty and authentic Thai food. There was also a tuna tartar that was to die for. Think we tried all the spring rolls in the world and those vegetable spring roll at the hotel was something special, there own secret taste :) There were always fresh towels that we could borrow for the beach and a lot of snorkelling sets that all the guest could use at all time. There was also toys for children to play with at the beach. We are sad that we had to leave, for this time. We are going to miss all of you guys at the hotel and also our sweetest friend, Smiley. Paradise”

We're so glad we decided to stay at ten moons. No other resort on the island comes close to it as far as we could see. We had a beach front chalet and it felt like we'd found paradise. The sand around the resort is the cleanest and softest you'll find in Lipe. The staff and food were wonderful. We've travelled extensively around south east asia and know how difficult it is to find somewhere as special as this.

My husband and I chose to stay here for our honeymoon after reading some fantastic reviews. We were not disappointed! If anything we were blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the beach and the environmental ethos of this resort. Ten Moons has a beautiful private section of sunrise beach with an area close by to snorkel in. It’s nearby some great restaurants (including its own) and the island itself has lots of fun activities for those seeking adventure. We highly recommend staying here!

Total paradise”

Ten Moons is fantastic if you want to relax and chill out and snorkel on the most paradise beach on the whole island. The sand is the softest, the cove is the quietest, the reef is spectacular. All staff go out of their way to help you and service is super friendly and welcoming at all times. They even hand out free bug spray (really nice stuff!) at sun down - although Avon So Soft worked its usual magic for us ;) Our room (16) was stunning and waking up to the view of the turquoise bay every day was blissful. The photos they have on here and on their site do not do the place justice by any means!! It is far more stunning than the photos make out. The bed was super hard (typical for Thailand), but for the class of hotel it would be nice to have something a bit more luxurious... Overall we love love LOVED our 6 night stay at Ten Moons and can't wait to return one day. We really felt like we were waking up in paradise every morning.

We just went at Ten Moon in February and stay In a bungalow beach front. All of the staffs are very friendly and great customer’s service. It’s great area for kids and family to have fun ,relaxing also privacy. I would recommend this place for anyone would like to have time off in Lipe island resort.

Best view from room on Ko Lipe!”

The speedboat ferry from Pak Barra pier was a little rough but I took dramamine for that. Rough water due to typhoon season in August. But once we got to Ko Lipe and our resort, it was worth it. The view from our beachfront room was beautiful! One of the few resorts on island with their own private beach! The staff very friendly & helpful (thank you Nui & Mo, restaurant & hotel staff too!). We kayaked to the small island nearby & did some snorkeling to see many beautiful fishes there. You can snorkel right off the beach but you see more fishes further out. Beware, there are rangers there to keep track & not have tourists swim and snorkel over the corals during low tide. This is bad for the corals because you might step on them during low tide and they are trying to protect them. The hotel will also warn you about swimming during low tide and if caught stepping on coral, you will have to pay a fine. Our resort offer you peace and quiet to unwind. Definitely recommend!

First arrive koh lipe at sunrise beach, we give a call to the hotel and they responded quickly with a boat taxi getting us to the hotel. Mo at the reception is super friendly and attentive. She nicely give a brief introduction about the hotel and been very helpful for the rest of the stay. Keep up the good work and we will be back for sure

Ten moons !! Hands down a great loction at the end of Sunrise Beach. Great spot for snorkling right outside your door! The sand is so soft. Great bunglows, all have excellent views, you can't go wrong. Staff is topnotch always willing to assist. Breakfast is delicious. Banana pancakes so cute and small.. Dinner was perfect relaxing and enjoyable by the quiet beach and food was wonderful, great options! Thank you Ten Moons!
