Great location, beautiful rooms and fantastic staff”

I have stayed at Takanta Place before, and would certainly stay here again. The location is ideal, right next to beautiful Nongprajak Park, one of the nicest recreational areas I have seen in Thailand. It’s great for walking, jogging or cycling and often has various festivals. You can borrow free of charge a bicycle from Takanta place to explore the city. The hotel itself is modern, clean and very tastefully designed. I noted the quality of the bedding, something you would not expect in a hotel at this modest price. The large room I stayed in was very comfortable with the usual amenities, a flat screen TV, somewhere to hang your clothes etc. but also a sofa which is something you don’t often see in a hotel. The bathroom was modern with a good size shower cubicle. Downstairs, there is a communal kitchen with a microwave and free hot drinks, along with an area to sit down and relax. However, the best thing about Takanta Place is the people. From the owner down to those that clean the rooms, they are so friendly and helpful and both receptionists speak very good English, something that is useful to foreign tourists. To conclude, this hotel has a nice homely feel about it, which comes not only from the place itself, but mainly from the staff who run it.

Takanta Place is excellent value for money near the beautiful park and so peaceful. Large cozy room with balcony and sure super clean. Around with many restaurants nearby and close to everything 7-11 just 150 m, beauty salon, Thai Massage shop, VT namnueng just stone's throw away and 10 min to town center. High speed internet with strong signal,Free bike rentals . Staff and owner is very kind, friendly and helpful that make me feel at home.I am a lady who stay here alone but I feel safety and have well sleeping so I can run my business here perfectly. I am very happy to stay at Takanta place and will return back again. Sure High Recommend.

For many years we come to Thaland. We stayed in many hotels. Hotel Takanta Place is for us so far the largest positive surprise. Excellent value for money.Situated in a peaceful surrounding close Nong prajak Public Park, the most beautiful area of the city. Large room with balcony, teo restaurants in front of hotel, close to convenience store, coffe shop, beauty salon, VT nanmueng ( Vietnam Cusnes) around the corner. Very high speed free internet, free of charge bicycle rentals. Entertainment facilities are everywhere near hotel. Deserves high score,and we recommend it to all.

This hotel is located clos to prajaktra lake, it is a new hotel with comfortable rooms. the rooms are quit big and no noise from outside. this is one of the best value for money in Udon Thani. I will certainly come back here again

Excellent Place”

It is an excellent place, for the price we paid, we can't ask for more. I didnt expect the standard room to look so cozy and nice and spacious. I also book a deluxe room and the decor please our eyes. Above all the bathroom and the room is also very very clean. I realize ants will appear if we bring food to the room but this is not a big problem. We were served drinks when we arrived. we feel very at home in this place. This apartment hotel seems to be very popular with family group so book early to avoid disappointment. My friend from udon told me this hotel location is central hence easy access to other place. The hotel allows guest to use bicycle for free to and its near a public park and a hospital.

I have been to many places in udon , hotels and guest houses and apartments. This is a very nice property, my favorite. Very very clean , nice design , wonderful stuff I feel I have privacy here not as in other hotels stuff in my face all the time. Near the park , great place and good price also .

I have been traveling extensively to Udonthani for the past decade. Takanta is definitely the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in Udon. The property is very well maintained and managed. Great value for money!

Nice Town, nice Place”

I stayed two nights in Udon Thani and liked it. I can recommend the place, the parc is close. You can reach the city by bike.

Excellent: Comfortable, convenient, clean”

This has got to be the absolute best value AND the best bed I have slept in at a hotel in years! And I have traveled a great deal in the past several years for business purposes and holiday. That includes staying at 5-star hotels in a number of major cities. The owner was on the front desk often and has quite good English skills. All the font desk staff could understand English. The room was clean, well (and minimally and tastefully) furnished. The hot water system was great and the TV worked well. I had my own mobile data for Internet so did not try their free wifi. I highly recommend this hotel. Very convenient to 7-11 literally 10 metres next door, and the lovely Non Prajak (park) a 2 minute walk.

Where do I start. Owner and staff very helpful and friendly. Large, airy, clean rooms. Nicer bed and bedding then normal. Well decorated, the owner loves flowers. Close to the Lake, Park, Government Hospital and city center. I like this hotel very much. I have stayed there many times. Never disappoints me. 7-11 next door, nice restaurants in short walk. Everything is fine, but long waiting time for check-in.”

I have been to this hotels several times during past 2 years. Everything is fine, but they usually don't clean and prepare rooms for new coming guests on time. I know that we can check-in after 2 pm. Even I arrived Udon Thani early, I tend to stay outside the hotel until after 2 or 3 pm, so they have enough time to clean their rooms after previous guest check-out. Anyway, they tend to inform me to stay out a little bit longer until 4 pm, regardless of how hot outside. Their receptionists are not very welcome and need to be trained for hospitality mind. Their housekeepers are always noisy while cleaning rooms, very disturbing.

Clean/smart looking facility. Only three floors to the building but there is no lift which you might feel on arrival if your room is on the third floor. Probably best for the traveller who knows their way around Udon as it is not located near the centre. There is a 7-11 next door though and Nong Prajak park with it's giant ducks is nearby.

Nice guest house ”

This stay was nice it was new year there very busy , I had a room on first floor first time it was ok . New Years prices room was little more expensive. Internet worked well, it's near the park so if you have a car it's 10 minutes ride to center of everything . Great for morning exercise . Stuff is always nice and rooms are clean . Thank you
