My stay at Hotel Sydney CBD has been the most accommodating and hospitable hotel experiences I have encountered. The cleanliness and design of the rooms is flawless and very luxurious. The beds are comfortable and all of the decor is modern and aesthetically impressive. Furthermore, the rooms are perfect size. When it comes to the staff, everyone from the cleaners to the manager offer a direct, friendly, and authentic experience with them that is humbling and leaves you feeling a warmth in the hotel's atmosphere. My stay was most comfortable and enjoyable and I would rate Sydney Hotel CBD on par with what I would expect in the rooms and from big chain hotels like The Hilton; Rydges; and the Hyatt. Actually, I have stayed at those hotels in the past and the staff treat you like a number in a room. Whereas, at Sydney Hotel CBD, you feel appreciated and welcome everyday. You are a person and guest, not a number in a room. Whenever I am in Sydney, I will stay at Sydney Hotel CBD as it is an experience I will never forget and like to return to. I am from Singapore to Sydney and this is my first time to Sydney. Initially I couldn’t imagine how it is as the photos are always good from their website. But it is really good in terms of location, convenience, comfort, staff. Location: it located at CBD and really spends 10 to 20 mins from here to Sydney Tower Eye, Opera House, Queen Victoria Building by walk. Convenience: Actually I visited 3 supermarkets around this area and the price is acceptable like Singapore as we can not buy anything from 7-eleven or convenience shop due to their price are more expensive than supermarkets. Otherwise I really don’t know how much they earn per month to afford their living standards in Sydney as Singapore’s living standards is high like car, house. Comfort: The room is clean and comfortable. Staff: They are very friendly and they are all china Chinese when they talk in Chinese from their accent. Next time I would stay this hotel again.

Just the job for Sydney "Vivid"!!”

Right in the heart of Sydney, close to all local amenities & shops, this hotel does not disappoint. We arrived after 2pm, our room was ready - but as the bed was a little cramped against a wall (! am 186cms tall!) we requested another. This was arranged with kindness & professionalism and we relocated to another room, bigger bed. The location is perfect - Darling Harbour a short walk away & everything else so easily locatable by train or bus. Get an Opal card - it is so worth it! On leaving, we asked to leave our bags for an extra hour, no problem. Downsides - well, only one really. The air conditioning seemed to have a mind of it's own, there were no instructions & we were quite cold till we sorted it out. A heater was offered, but some instructions on how to program the aircon would have been appreciated. Other than that, a good stay. Would we stay there again? Yes, I think we would! The location is perfect and close to shopping area and all attractions within the city. Staff are all pleasant and helpful. The rooms is clean and you will find all the basic needs inside. There are only minor issues for me because the room doesn’t have lights control beside the bed. You have to stand up and go to the hotel door to switch the lights off. There’s no toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom. My room is located at 8th floor and at night you will hear the loud music of the nearby bars. They don’t have the universal power outlet for travellers to plug in your phone charger and you have to deposit $20 to loan an adapter in order for you to charge your phone. Overall my stay was very good and will definitely comeback to the same hotel during my next visit to Sydney. I will refer Sydney Hotel CBD to my friends to book in the same hotel for their upcoming trip to the city.

Sydney CBD was perfect for us,as it was close to Darling Harpour and all the other locations.”

CBD hotel was perfect for us. The room was a little bit smallish tify and clean, very good value for the money, so close to all the activities we wanted to do on our long weekend around Sydney CBD ,the staff were friendly and attended to all our request promptly. The only negative was we couldn't extend our stay for half a day as our flight was in the evening at 8:00 they wanted to charge full price for the room for 6 hours of use,but all around very satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

Great hotel”

Sydney CBD hotel is well located on the corner of Kent and Liverpool Streets. Close to Town Hall train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They greet you every day. The room was spacious, the bathroom was very clean. This hotel has several reasonably priced restaurants within 50 metres. Thai,Malay,Japanese, korean, Italian and a Northern Spanish restaurant. 3 pubs. Well worth the stay.

Hotel location is very good, walking distance to Sydney town tourist spot, such as Sydney tower, St mary's cathedral sydney, Chinatown, Paddy's market, Darling harbour side, and Town hall MRT station and so on... Cleanliness of hotel room is 10/10 provide daily room cleanning sevices... The room interior design is comfortable and look like new... provide mini frige, hair dryer, TV... if u booking for 3 people as me then got a queen bed and a single bed then the single bed have own TV, this is what i am surprising... The hotel staff is nice and willing to provide useful information... Only the thing no convenience is no Wifi/need to pay money... but most of hotel in sydney are same... Environment of hotel, u can find the restaurant around this hotel easily...

Excellent stay at CBD!”

I booked into Sydney CBD, not sure what to expect, but have to say that it was excellent. I was travelling with my niece from UK and we spent 12 days in Sydney exploring the sights. The room was rather compact, but as we were only there to sleep and spent most of each day out and about it was perfectly adequate. The room was serviced every day and towels changed daily. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Beyond Expected Hotel stay!”

We came on a vacation to Sydney this end of May. We chose this hotel for our stay i.e,4 days. I should say that it is the best decision to choose this hotel. Great location. Easy commute to all attraction. No hiccups to find the hotel for the first time. Friendly staff. Clean room. I wish they had a breakfast buffet available. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking out for one near CBD area. Regards -UD

The staff are friendly and we were provided with our room immediately. The location is very accessible to restaurants, supermarket, near Chinatown and there is a nearby chapel. The room is clean and bathroom has hot water. Our stay in Sydney Hotel CBD is great! I will highly recommend it!

We were 4 "older" ladies showing an American friend on her first visit to Australia the sites in Sydney, CBD was certainly a great position for us to get around from. The staff were very helpful when we requested a wheelchair for one of our friends. We had 2 twin rooms which had not long been revamped and very comfortable. It was a shame about the weather for the last 2 days otherwise great stay.

Manager JANDRO was so friendly, helpful and kind. A pleasure to stay there. Other Reception Staffs were wonderful too! Very clean, as one would expect all hotels to be now. Excellent location, in the middle of Sydney CBD. Would recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Find The Cheapest Hotel Near City Area”

Online search for few hotel, look for budget and quality hotel. Finally Sydney Hotel CBD is selected. This hotel nearby chinatown and paddy's market, opposite also have few shopping mall. Location is very good to stay. Unfortunately, there still have some not satisfied issue :- The bath room door is heavy and with a big hole at the handle part. The room a bit small size with 4 person for family. Overall the hotel performance is good. It can save cost, and stay nearby city area.

Great place with affordable price!”

I stayed here for 6 nights & was quite satifisfied with my stay. The room was quite small but comfortable enough. All amenities were provided and the staff were friendly. In terms location, it is right in the CBD area with 2 main subway stations closeby. Public bus were also easily accessible, many restaurant nearby and Woolworths supermarket was just across the street. The only downside was the loud sound (especially friday-sat) coming from the pub nearby. Some people might find it a little disturbing. All in all, everything was fine. Would love to stay here again if i ever come back to Sydney.

Great Hotel, really friendly staff”

Overall I have no complaints about the hotel, our room was tended to (toilet paper filled up, shampoo and conditioner supplied and beds made) every day, sheets were changed on the 3rd day. We arrived at about 1:30 and were allowed to go to our room (as it was ready). Both my sister and I were very happy with the staff and facilities. The location was great close to museum train station, Paddy's Market, China Town and Darling Harbour (10 minutes walk) and was only 20 minutes from the Botanical Gardens and 30 minutes from Sydney Harbour. The airport was not far away, about half an hour by walking to Museum Station and catching the train. The other guests in the hotel seemed pretty quiet which was another positive. However if you want to explore the Blue Mountains it isn't exactly nearby, however this was something both my sister and I failed to consider, aside from that a great hotel if you want to be close to the sites mentioned. I would highly recommend this hotel to those travelling alone or as a couple if you want to see the typical tourist attractions, however as mentioned if you don't have much time and want to see the Blue Mountains I'd recommend booking somewhere a bit closer. I would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again provided we don't plan on travelling to the Blue Mountains

The lobby area is quite narrow and the heating system doesn't work well in our room. Otherwise, a total value for money. Walking distance to Sydney fish market, darling harbour and lots of tourist destination as it is in the heart of the CBD. 👌👌👌

Perfect location ”

This was my second time staying here. Yes, the rooms are small but they are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and they will store your luggage after you check out. The location is the best part. Only about 5 mins walk to Darling Harbour, 5 mins walk in another direction to Town Hall and so many shops and cafes all around. Highly recommended and I will be back again! Thank you Sydney Hotel CDB.

Great friendly central hotel”

A friendly hotel. with a smaller than normal reception area . It has a little coffee shop in the foyer with a very friendly guy doing good priced coffee and simple breakfasts ($5.00 for toast and cheese and a coffee). We had a 3 bed family room for 3 guys, it was small but very clean with all the Mod cons. It is in central Sydney so close to everything and a short stroll to Darling harbour. The staff were all very friendly and obliging.
