Pros : Breathtaking view at the facilities level. Reception was pleasant and cheerful. Room & clean is very clean. Simple design in the room but spacious. Cons : The security at the guardhouse not so pleasant. When we entered the hotel, he stopped us without a greeting and the way he asked like ‘what are you doing here?’ I told him we wanted to check in but he just walked away without saying anything. We went out for lunch & came back around 3.15pm & the same guard stopped us again asking the same question. He did not say anything again. Another guard stopped us before the entrance to lobby area & told us where to park. Not so pleasant too but we just keep quiet. I did not expect a celebrity treatment but being pleasant in the service industry is very important. No hotel slipper provided in the room but the floor is cold at night. No toothbrush provided. Safety box is locked & couldn’t be used. Food at restaurant not so nice. Other than these, everything else is quite good!

Major Pros: This is a virtually new property with very large, very clean rooms. They offer free shuttle service to the Genting Premium Outlets / Awana station where you can get the cable car up to Resorts World. They also have a taxi service, ask for Siew - he is a great, very responsive and very helpful person who is available for rides to the Outlets, and also for day trips. He is an excellent guide! Rooms at hotel are spacious and well furnished. The pools and playground are great. They have pools for adults and kids, and fortunately all are heated. The views from the roof and pool areas are fantastic! Cons: We booked a room with a kitchenette and expected to have pots and pans, plates, etc. There were none. The front desk stated they did not want people cooking in the rooms -- seemed a bit of a bait and switch. However, there are lots of Chinese restaurants in walking distance and the hotel's restaurant is acceptable (food wise), and the staff and management are great.

A lot of negative reviews, but we had a very pleasant stay. ”
Read through multiple negative reviews prior to my stay and some I'm glad I read as it was a heads up! The location was not hard to find - there is no "Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Genting Highlands" on the Grab application but just search "Windmill Upon Hills" The distance from Genting Premium Outlets and the property was about 7 minutes away. We checked in at 11pm (we were in a cable car for two hours!) and the lady at the reception was very friendly and courteous. The check in was prompt. The room smelled like paint, but it did not bother us at all. The beds were very comfortable, rain shower was a plus. The swimming pool was located at the residential block(?) so it may be hard to find, but the sign to the facilities are was helpful. During our stay, we had no complaints at all and yes, it is a new hotel and there are of course room for improvement, but so far all is good. Would definitely come back again if I had the chance. Pros : - the picture in this hotel are really not like what it seem to be, the room are actually really really big ! it is more like a master bedroom in a 2 million condominium. - you have to come and see it for yourself. - the room are really clean since it still new. - the toilet design are nice and really cool . - breakfast are just nice . - facilities in this hotel are truly amazing. - sauna room are really huge. - they have three big pool which is really awesome. - they separate the lap pool and kids pool . - the kids pool are heated ! so dont worry about cold .. your kids can jump in and have fun even in cold weather. Cons: - there is a bit cons in this hotel . - the parking area are close when we arrived so we have to park the car at the tenants parking lot area and we have to walk a bit far to go to the hotel lift. - the lift to the top floor took quite abit challanging because you have to take three lift to get up there

I would like share my finest experience in this 4 months old hotel. I really enjoyed so much of this hotel which I voted the best I have stayed in this region The room are very big & clean Not forgetting the staff of this hotel from security officer to house keeping to front desk to Hotel Manager Mr Andrew are well trained & super courteous & helpful to me and other guests as I observed. I was shocked to witness that the hotel manager Mr Andrew are so down to earth and helping front desk to checking the hotel guest and he is very very friendly attitude as a good role model for Swiss Garden . With his good leadership that he well groomed his staff to attend the hotel guest professionally . Big Syabas to Mr Andrew and his team and sincerely hope the higher Management Team will recognize the leadership of Mr Andrew and also his quality staff in their career advancement , annual bonus + increment . They never look down or discriminate any races or age who check in as hotel guest .

Because of circumstances out of control we booked this hotel via the net and arrived 60mins later. What a delightful welcoming hotel. The lobby bright clean and spacious. The staff very helpful. Our room was on the 22nd floor looking up to Genting Highland Resort and wonderfully relaxing view both day and night. The swimming pool and observation deck on the 42nd floor is breathtaking, so clean and welcoming. I have to say we travel extensively all over the world and this hotel is definitely in our top 5. Well done to all the staff who keep this hotel running. The hotel taxi driver Beng is a very good driver as was the shuttle bus driver up to the Outlet and also the bus depot. From here you can get the spectacular sky way up the mountain to Genting. Highly recommended and extremely cheap.

Pros : Very clean! Lovely pools, very friendly and helpful staff. Various type of food during breakfast. Shops were near, so as petrol station. Definitely will stay here again if i had another chance. Cons: 1. Room: Water in the bathroom quite slow. A little bit confusing to go to the parking lot at first. We were actually lost while looking for the parking lot when we wanted to go out. Quite funny actually. Just ask around, the staff were reallly helpful. 2.Breakfast: Lots of food..but the nasi lemak and sambal were not that good. Others are okay. If u want to go to the pool, u need to take the lift to 40th floor, after that, take the stairs, and then take another lift to 41st floor. The view from the higher floor was lovely.

New, clean and attractive hotel”
We checked in on 11 Feb, quick and smooth check in process the staff at the counter were so nice dealing with the management upgrading our room, we consider this as our anniversary present, thank you, other than that all staff were super nice, everyone greeted us with smile, and one staff named syafie helped us to show a quicker way to go to pool, and also helped us with our baggage during check out, that was so nice of him. Everything were perfect except for fnb I think your side should upgrade on the quality, the variety is nice but the quality is not up to par from our sight, if only the fnb is up to par, the whole experience would deserve 5 stars from us, anyway, we will still come back because we fall in love with the hotel already, good job to everyone especially to the management for the well trained staffs making guests feeling happy during the stay ❤️

I requested on the last day an extra hour instead of checking our at 12 p.m. and in friendly manner they extend for another hour and the front counters manager himself approve it professionally. The staff in overall very friendly even the cleaner willing to help and guide you on some matters. Facilities all available and working well, it was an awesome trip! However, the booked with an option of single large bed, but I was surprised to know that the promotion only for twin sharing beds of which not convenient for couple trip; they reacted professionally to my request to have single large bed, but after we hold breath for few minutes. I have no idea where the problem took a place; is it Agoda or the hotel itself. Please look into the problem seriously.

👍🏻The view is superb, easy access to halal restaurant. breakfast was nice. what i like the most is the pool facility, kids friendly. the changing room is clean 👎🏻 as most in the review, we had the same experience with the lift. waited almost 30mins to get into the lift from the pool (40th floor) to 3rd floor 👎🏻i have requested for a simple deco for my husband's birthday (or notify me if its chargeable), but nobody informed me upfront there's no such service. but its okay, i was fine with that 👎🏻 wifi not working during our stay

Nice view being uphill. All of the staff from guard, receptionist, housekeeping, gardener, restaurant staff, all of them are really helpful and giving the best service ever. They respond very fast and always up to our request. Room is very clean and spacious. I stay at 31st floor and at night I can feel the breeze when opening the window. But i think if coming with children, you need to be extra careful and always pay attention to child since there are big lounge behind the big window. This place are near to Petron and Starbuck.

Overall good experience to stay at this unit. Spacious room, clean and fulfilled basic needs. Facilities was at another block by walking distance to another building. Lift to level 40 then walk up staircase to level 41. Rooftop view is good, clear sky view and can see Genting Highlands. The parking is a bit confuse. If the 1st entrance is block due to full or other reason, then you need drive to another entrance and need to know which direction for the hotel so that you can park nearest to lift. Will come back if the rooftop cafe is already open.

stay here for 1 night, park your car and get the parking card..better park at L3 ,near to lobby ..has 4 block..a,b,c can use elevator near car park, for blok D used lift through at the lobby..pool at block a,b,c but there's short cut inside the building..really nice pool view..with sauna..pls validate your parking card if you want go out from car park, nice view from room hotel, mini playground, cozy environment.for buffet breakfast, should add on mushroom soup and i think management should improve all the breakfast menu ..too much frozen food ..no nasi lemak, pls add bihun mee for soto ,pls add more add on dish for porridge ..near eateris zul biker stall ..pleasant stay..will come again

Super comfortable, the room so spacious. The food perfect. Recommended place for 1-2 nights stay. Warm swimming pool is the best thing i liked. Just to comment that the buffet breakfast limited type of food, not my mistake just nasi lemak, curry chicken, 2 type mee, breads, 2 types fruits, mango juice, coffee, salad, beans, egg, soup, that's all. Hope the restaurant add more variety choice of food.

Checked in at 3pm, put all luggages in the room, drove to Genting Highland, back to hotel at 10pm, very quiet, nice shower, water closet is comfort, slept at 1am with excellent night view and soft mattress, woke up at 8am and had the breakfast buffet at 5th floor, brought the kids the swimming pool at level 41 and water is warm enough, returned to room and checked out at 12pm. Just lack of convenient store and have to walk 5-10min to nearest shoplot

Swiss Garden Hotel Genting is a wonderful place to be at anytime always for a short getaway vacation even for a longer period! My parents are senior citizens and they’re very pleased with the hotel’s facilities and amenities plus my daughter gets very excited when the conversation goes... “Let’s get to Swiss Garden Genting this weekend or holidays” and she would be really excited!! My mother wouldn’t mind coming here once a month she said! So, I guess this explains why we had chosen SGHG as our vacation destination. Hope that the hotel maintains its services as always!!
