This hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to Nohi Bus Terminal, Train Station and most tourist spots in the area. They have a very good and clean public bath (Onsen). Simple but adequate breakfast. Clean and comfortable room with private toilet and bath. Good internet connection. Amazing and helpful Hotel Staffs.

Nice well priced hotel”
This hotel was only a couple of mins walk from the train station, and about 5 mins from the main part of town, so a good location. The room was a classic tiny Japanese hotel room. I coped by myself, but a couple would need to up grade to a bigger room. I can't see two people and their luggage fitting in here. The hotel itself is light, clean and pleasant. Breakfast has a reasonable selection, although mostly all Asian style offerings. I would look to return, but even saying by myself I would look to book a larger room.

Good location but rooms too small”
-the location is only 3-min walk from Takayama station. Very convenient to all the main attractions in town -the room is very very small with a small bathroom as well. -check our time is 10am and breakfast ends at 8:45am so be careful.

Disappointed that I can't park my car in the hotel compund even though I requested it way in advance. I was only able to park the car there only on the second day. First day had to park nearby about 150 - 200 meters away. Hotel charges for car-park. Simple but good breakfast provided and a very small onsen enough for max of 4 persons at a time.. Free coffee and water provided at the reception counter. Walking distance to the morning market and historic streets. Overall value for money.

Location is good and the hotel was fairly clean and today. However the rooms are extremely small, smaller then the super hotel we stayed at in Tokyo. Not sure why they've gone for such a compact design in a place like Takayama.
