Where to stay in Sukhbaatar
Sukhbaatar hotels & accommodations

Perfect location to all the places to see/visit in UB. Room is very spacious and most importantly the bathroom is clean. The room we had has a balcony and perfect spot for sunrise views. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. There is a CBTL coffee shop at the ground floor as well as a convenient store but only open during office hours. A travel agency for fligh...

Frankly, Springs is somewhat overpriced, but in fairness so is every other hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Rooms are clean, the beds are unusually comfortable by Asian standards, and the staff are extremely helpful and speak excellent English. The Korean restaurant on the 2nd floor operates independently of the hotel and should only be regarded as a last resort in, for example, ...

I've stayed 5 different hotels in UB and it's been the best so far. Location is over looking the central square, staff were amazingly attentive (trust me, this is very difficult to come across in UB), the room was comfy and the club lounge was nice. The staff at both club lounge on the 23rd floor and premier lounge on 25th were very nice. Perhaps I don't need to look f...

Everything you'd expect from a Shangri-La. Staff is very service oriented and go out of their way to serve you. I needed some medicine and they went to the pharmacy for me and brought to my room. Hotel is very new and nicely decorated - only open a month. Rooms are spacious and have standard amenities for a 5 star. Had been traveling in the countryside and the splurge ...

We booked the standard room with 2 single beds. The beds are a bit short for anyone over 6ft but we had comfortable sleep otherwise. Complete basic amenities and everything is quite clean. The staff were very helpful and efficient since we had several issues due to a snow storm when we were there. Close enough to a monastery (nice pics) and restaurants (plenty within...

The main reason I chose the Chinggis Khaan Hotel was that it had a swimming pool and sauna. I was very disappointed that they were closed for maintenance during my stay. The receptionist who I spoke to told me they would re-open next month, which meant I could not use them. The room was big and comfortable, but my toilet seat was partly broken. The room was clean, but ...

I booked this hotel through Agoda for its good review and value for money. Overall I had a peaceful and relax one night stay. It's value for money and good location within 10 mins walking distance to Chinggis Khaan Square where most of the shops and restaurants are located. There's no price indicated for the items in the minibar. The hotel management may want...

I booked twice so please check the other review as I won't repeat myself. Kaiser is the perfect base for a holiday in Ulaan Baatar and even when youre heading outside. i went to Khustain then to Terelj and the huge Chinggis Khan Monument at the "Golden Whip". Kaiser is perfect because it is set back from Peace Avenue so this is a quiet place to be, but it's easy to wal...

This is a spa center that happens to also have 7 hotel rooms. The room we stayed in was massive and had many amenities not typically found in UB hotels (Japanese toilet, fully stocked minibar, big screen TV, in-room breakfast) and at very reasonable prices. After spending 2 weeks in different ger camps every night, this was a welcome respite. And I haven't even mention...

Due to Naadam festive period all hotels in the city got rather pricey; UB INN was my choice due to its location. Compared to several other places I had been staying, it instantly appeared quite plain and - almost empty! In fact, no buffet breakfast was available in the restaurant - instead a plate with varied cooked and cold food was served in the bar area behind front...

An amazingly place to stay with great staff. Very helpful in planning tours for Mongolia and providing info about UB. Place is kept clean and the kitchen is available for free tea and coffee. Dorm was very big with very comfortable beds. Out patio os good to hangout at night. Close to Seoul street and places to eat. Again the best part is the hospitality of th...

I didn't have a hard time choosing an affordable hotel in Ulaanbaatar. The moment I saw Zaya Hostel in the top search results and read its reviews, I was sold. And based on my personal experience, it was easy to understand why. Upon arriving, I was eagerly welcomed by its manager, Anand. He speaks great English and always checks up on the guests. He toured me first ar...

My stay at the Corporate Hotel was a very good one. The staff in particular is very helpful and speak very good English. Also the location of the hotel is good. And the facilities (gym, restaurant, rooftop bar) are good too. Room was a bit worn out but it didn't really bother me much - not sure what the general quality of hotels in Ulaanbaatar is elsewhere... Overall, ...

We paid 80usd/day for a total of 8 days tour across the Gobi desert and central Mongolia and it was the time of our life. The package was actually the cheapest (we surveyed another 3 tour agents in Ulaanbaatar). We had a wonderful and skillful driver, a good tourguide who was also our cook, unlimited supply of water, comfortable stay at local gers, also tickets to nat...

Really love my stay with this family who treats guests with sincerity, offers free airport transfer and provides hearty breakfast. There's a place for currency exchange right opposite this guesthouse, which exchanges Singapore dollars (not commonly available). As every car can be flagged down as taxi (similar to Uber/Grab service) but we are unable to communicate in Mo...

Owner is very good, take care of everything. She does airport pick up which charges USD15 which is reasonable from airport to hostel. She arrange tours too in Mongolia, does train tickets for trans Siebra train, send you to train station. Everything, simply one stop centre. Prices suits budget backpackers on the go. Very clean toilet too.

The best thing about the hotel is the very friendly and helpful staff. Even with our 3 small children, they were always helpful. The staff know some basic English which was enough help to make our travel arrangements. The hotel is a short 7-10 minute taxi ride (depending on traffic) to the center of UB.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The restaurant of the Hotel serves traditional Mongolian dishes The staff was very friendly, helpful and very efficient specially Sara at reception. I had a health problem when we were there in January and Sara was very helpful to guide me through medical resources.

What was once a nice hotel is simply falling to pieces. The furnishings are old and tacky and the rooms haven't been given a good clean for a long time. Their double bed is simply 2 beds pushed together garnished with ill-fitting sheets. Service was slow or non-existent. I expected a lot more for the price I paid. Overall, highly unrecommended.

A great stay here at the Guide Hotel. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were comfortable, basic, but perfect for what you needed. Near to the main areas of interest and close to restaurants and bars. All in walking distance, which is a bonus. We asked for a pick up from the train station, which went smoothly. We have stayed in many hotels where the pick u...

Prime Minister A.Amar Street, at where the hotel locates, is 3-minute walk away from the Sukhbaatar (Chinggis) Square. You can find the general post office (don't miss the beautiful stamps and postcards, opens from Mon and Sun) at the southwest and the National Museum of Mongolia at the northwest of the square. Further walking westward along Peace Avenue from the gener...

My only problem as a business traveler was that the apartment was never cleaned nor tidied up daily. They only do it once a week. Also they do not replenish the toiletries and water. Otherwise, everything was great, spacious, and it has a cafe and grocery store in its ground floor!
