Hotel Stupa resport doesn't have insect mesh on its windows, during the night many insects were crawling on our faces and we could not sleep well. There was no electricity in the night and the intercom phone was not working. The staff, especially the senior most manager was friendly, he listened to my problem and acknowledged all the problems and fixed one of them by switching ON the generator. We managed to order our food using international roaming SIM card because their intercom was not working, but missing insect mesh spoiled the show as I and my wife got up in night many times because there was some or other insect crawling on our faces, we could not sleep well. Breakfast in the hotel was good, it's location is also good and you get good views from the hotel itself.

It was pouring down with rain when we arrived, but the staff lifted up our morale with a welcome cup of tea and an electric heater. The weather cleared over the night, and the stars were amazing. The sunrise was pure magic, with a fantastic view from our private balcony over the Himalaya chain. Breakfast was good although very slow. The trail path is close by, an easy walk rewarded by another vision of the mountains. The bus station to KTM and Bhaktapur is a ten minutes walk.
