Perfect place to enjoy natural view”
I stayed at Steppe Nomads 3 nights. Young staff are very friendly, and food served at restaurant is very fine. I could enjoy a lot of stars in the night & horse back riding in the day time. This is perfect place to enjoy wonderful Mongolian nature.

pleasant, relaxing and memorable. ”
The road from Ulaanbaatar to Steppe Nomads is a bit tough. It will take good 3 hours from airport to this place. The asphalt is not any better than dirt road but at the end it well worth the trouble. Highly recommend it to all nature lovers!

Transport Nightmare”
The biggest problem is getting there. I had emailed Agoda to ask for transfer from the UB never heard from them. The telephone number on the booking did not work . Finally got anther number and the company that owns the Resort which is a lovely Ger Camp with a beautiful location wanted $160 round trip which was more than the stay at the Resort. The trip is not one and a half hours long it is more like 3 to 4 hours long. So if you have to catch a plane plan accordingly. If you get a ride there and do not have your own ride organized to return to UB the resort wants $160 one way. There was no one that really spoke English so if you needed help good luck. The staff was nice but what you have to remembe: most all Ger camps just have people that work there for 2 months and to be honest some nice but really it is just a job not much personality. The Resort/ Ger Camp is in beautiful place and the Gers are great and the bath rooms are very clean when they are cleaned. The dining room looks new but not one piece of art on any walls from reception to dining room. Mongolian art is every where and really beautiful. the dinning room and reception looks so sterile. The dining room had great wood furniture covered in white chair covers with satin purple ribbons tied to the chairs it looked like a wedding reception with neon overhead lights. Very out of character for the beauty of location and the possibilities of the lodge.Actually all the people that were there commented on this character flaw of the resort. I choose to eat out side but when it is cold you have no choice. I rode horses for 2 days for a few hours. The horses are great big heart but you need to check the gear don't expect much but that was OK.It was great fun not for serious riding more tourist take a ride. The place was beautiful when I finally found it but I really think it is false advertising as it is most certainly not an easy weekend stay.
