Great place for jacuzzi and BBQ”

This place is showing its age a bit, for sure, but it is super clean and the service is excellent. The owner is very kind. The superior double has a spa open to the outside air, but enclosed, and bbq in its own private area. There is also a deck with a view of mountains. Good stay.

Worked out perfect”

I have been to Sokcho 3 times. This is the first time I stayed in a guest house instead of a hotel. The location was perfect for me as it sat right in the middle of my trail head I planned to use and Sokcho. Having a car makes it easy but I think there is a bus stop within 15 minutes walk. The atmosphere was great, as you can see from the pictures. Completely different from the typical sights I am used to seeing in Seoul and at the other places I stayed in Sokcho. Breakfast was great but as a typical American my caloric intake is higher than the normal Korean. So without question I could eat more... It starts at 9 so if you are planning an all day hike you may want to skip it. Also on weekends and holidays the short drive to the trail head took some time as most people are slow to get on the road. Leaving early the road is empty and it's only 7km drive. The Staff was very friendly and shared a common interest, hiking. Ask them for advice and between a map, some broken English and broken Korean you will get a good idea what to expect on the trail. The room was perfect for us...by far it was the best value when compared to my other trips. If I plan another trip I have no intention of looking for a place to stay. I simply will stay here.

Perfect out of the city place to relax”

We arrived in the Sokcho late at night and made a booking when we got there. We arrived after 9PM and the owner had already turned on the water boiler and prepped the room according to our requests. He opened up the 24hr lounge/kitchen area to allow us to make coffee or just relax.We had booked the room with the whirlpool bath, which was clean and cozy. The room was of decent size and had all the necessities. They even have an indoor barbecue facility where you can barbecue your own food if the weather is not too good outside! The next morning my girlfriend wasn't feeling well so she couldn't get out of bed. I went down for breakfast and the owner allowed me to take breakfast up to her! Although they cannot speak English well, they tried their best to accommodate us. We will definitely be visiting there again!

Great stay here”

Very pleasant stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable. Good location with only five minutes walk to the seaside. The owner were very friendly. If I go there next time, the hotel will still be my first choice.

Nice pension”

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and really nice overall. The bed was very comfortable and the whirlpool area even had its own TV! The staff members were nice, and we appreciated that they put an English-language DVD (Everest) in our room. It was great to have breakfast included as well.

a very nice place between seoraksan and the sea, confortable and clean room but over decorated, jacuzzi takes too much space in the room. breakfast start at 9h which too late if you want to somewhere for a full day

Nous avons été déçu par rapport à la présentation de cette maison d'hôtes sur internet. Les chambres sont en effet grandes, bien pour des familles qui y restent assez longtemps car équipées de cuisines. Par contre, globalement les équipements sont de qualité moyenne et vieillissant. L'ensemble nécessiterait un coup de neuf. Le rapport qualité prix n'est pas très bon.

令人放鬆的休憩空間~”

因為地點不在海邊反而多了點寧靜，晚上也可看到星空。 老闆很貼心，即使還沒如住房內也先開暖炕，也會關心早餐，是愉快的住宿經驗。

房間溫暖整潔”

若沒有開車，位置是有點偏遠，但不難找到。而且路口就有巴士往來雪嶽山及市中心，都很方便。房間乾淨，溫暖舒適，房東很温文有禮，環境清靜，很有渡假感覺。退房時，因我們沒有開車，房東先生主動開車送我們到長途車站，省卻拖行李出搭巴士的麻煩，非常感謝！

一所用心經營的民宿”

베란다에스파 있는방을잡았으나 예약할때 스파 11시까지라고적혀있지도않앗고 스파하려고 반바지 갈아입으려고홀딱벗고있는데 베란다에 밖으로나가는문이하나있는데 주인멋데로들어와서 스파에달린티비끄고 알몸보고나감. 입실햇는데 전기세아끼려고 막들어오는펜션처음봄 불도막끔 베란다에 불도 제가새벽에베란다에서 술먹으면서 킬수도있는건데 11시에스파물빼러오면서. 불도다꺼야된다하고 초저녁에 폔션정원쪽도 바람쐬면서 사진좀찍으려햇더니 불도거의꺼놈 키면끄고 코로나땜에힘들어서아끼는건이해하지만 쓸때없이 전기낭비하나 들여다보는거같에서 불쾌함

결혼20주년이라 큰 마음 먹고 아내와 여해을 간건데, 숙박비도 주말이라 비싸고, 비싼만큼 펜션이 좋지않아 실망입니다.. 너무 오래되어 악취도 심하게 나고, 제트스파는 숙소 밖에 설치되어 너무추워 여름에나 이용해야할거 갔네요.. 괜슬히 지인을 소개 시켜주었다가 따귀 맞을 숙소입니다...
