A hidden gem in UB”
This is a spa center that happens to also have 7 hotel rooms. The room we stayed in was massive and had many amenities not typically found in UB hotels (Japanese toilet, fully stocked minibar, big screen TV, in-room breakfast) and at very reasonable prices. After spending 2 weeks in different ger camps every night, this was a welcome respite. And I haven't even mentioned the spa. An entire room filled with Himalayan sea salt, 3 gorgeous ger-shaped saunas, hot tub, pool, steam rooms, meditation rooms, on and on. Best back massage ever. The only downside for a first-time in UB tourist like me would be its distance from downtown UB (25 min walk, 5-10 min taxi ride). To be honest, that was an upside for us in the end- we even extended our stay an extra 3 nights rather than move downtown to our previous booking!

Exceptional”
Very good value for money. The rooms and bathroom are big, and it´s very quiet there. Spa is not included in hotel price, but you´ll get a discount. Very good gym (that is complimentary to hotel guests). Breakfast is served at your room, you can choose between 3-4 combos. It´s a distance from the city centre, so you´ll need a taxi every time you´ll go there.

The Worst customer service I´ve ever encountered… plus abusive staff”
The Soyol is supposedly a four-star hotel, but they barely deserve one. The place is really a spa, and the hotel, despite looking great with huge, well decorated rooms, is an afterthought. There are only about seven rooms, all stinking of smoke. I’m a smoker, and even I noticed it. Where to start with the customer service? There was a kettle, but no coffee, tea, sugar, milk, or spoons. When they cleaned the rooms, they didn’t restock the bathroom with towels or toilet paper. The breakfast was unrecognizable to the options offered. We had to ask them both days to bring coffee, which was supposed to be included in the breakfast option. They woke us up early, half an hour before we had ordered the breakfast to the room, to tell us they couldn't offer us our original choice. The staff were, at best, clueless, and at worst, surly, and occasionally abusive. We had reserved massages in their spa section, and I was left waiting for an hour for a massage that never even happened, despite two trips to the reception to find out what was going on. As well as failing to supply me with a reason why there was no massage, they didn’t even apologise for the inconvenience. All this time I noticed several masseuses sitting around playing games on their phones. The most disconcerting encounter with the staff was with a security guard. I was outside the hotel smoking by a side door, until he came out and shouted at me for smoking there, pointing at some other area I should have been smoking in. There were no signs telling people to not smoke there, not was there a sign pointing to the designated area. Not only did he shout at me but he also made several very hostile sounding remarks to me in Mongolian. When I complained about his behaviour to the receptionist, they did nothing. By then they seemed so sick of our (reasonable) complaints that they’d just given up trying to make our stay a comfortable one. Spacious but food is no good”
Rooms is spacious, but breakfast is not well-prepared. The staff send it to your room which is kinda awesome, however food quality is not good. 5 star is too much for the quality I received. But maybe all the local-5-stars hotel are the same.

Spa feel really big rooms”
Rihanna the manager was great and most of the staff were helpful. Breakfast was ok but they delivered to your room. I feel the housekeeping staff could have been a bit more proactive, but the massages, and concierge services for the city in addition to the facilities themselves made it easy to overlook those shortcomings. All in all I had a very good stay.

Totally Bizarre ”
This hotel just made no sense really. I think it's primarily a spa and the hotel is just tacked on to accommodate some guests. That's certainly what it feels like. You can't enter the hotel through the main doors you have to enter a dingy side door. The rooms are huge and lavish, but very much style over substance, the taps were falling off the walls and the water pressure was really low. They made us change our clothes to go to breakfast, we had to wear robes. Weird. It's quite cheap though and all in all quite comfortable. Decent location too, but everything takes ages in UB because the traffic is always awful.

サウナ屋さんのホテル”
サウナ経営の建物にホテルが付属しているイメージ。ただし、部屋はとても広くて家具も綺麗。サウナが２４時間営業の為、ほとんど２４時間何でも対応してくれる。そして、日本語が喋れるスタッフがいたのは助かった。少し変っているのが、レストランがサウナ隣接の為、普段着は不可で、部屋のガウンで入らないといけないこと。ただ、レストランの料理はルームサービスしてくれるので問題はない。場所が中心部から少し遠く、タクシーに言っても場所がわからないのが不便でした。

全体的には問題なくホテルも清潔で満足です。ただ、日本だと当たり前だと思っていた室内清掃などはなく、タオルなども言わないと交換してもらえないので...そこは文化の違いかもしれません。 排水が悪く、シャワーを浴びると風呂場が水たまりになっていたので、水回りの清潔感は若干悪いです。（と言っても全体的にはかなり清潔です。） 部屋は非常に広く、使い勝手もよかったです。シャングリラ周辺と比べると少し治安が悪いかな？というエリアに立地しているので移動はかならずタクシーになりますが、受付のセキュリティがわりとしっかりしているので安心でした。

Bland New almost but not well served”
I spent three nights here. The staff tried to do their best to serve for the guest but the system seems awful. The English capacity of staff is to be improved for the better communication with the guest. . The room has a sufficient size to enjoy spacial area with one or two. However, the lighting are not enough bright but dim in spite of full switch on in the room. The biggest problem is the partition walls between rooms are too thin to prevent the noise occurred by the fascinating couple. The noise from the next room sounded like from my room. I woke up 3- 4 times during a night. It was funny experience but no more experience there.

호텔 간판도 없고, 호텔 관련 세세한 item들도 미흡하나 (타월, glass, cup, 온도 조절기 등등 미흡) 아침 일찍 출발하는 항공편 이용시 공항에서 15분 정도로 가까운 곳에 위치하고 있어서 편리하고 교통체증 등을 걱정할 필요가 없음. 직원은 매우 친절함.

내부시설은 정말 놀랄만 하고 직원들도 친절하다. 특히 매일 아침 룸으로 갖다주는 조식도 괜찮은 편이다. 다시 몽골 출장가게 되면 또 예약할 생각이다.
