Good Spot but...”

Nice small boutique hotel, only 10 rooms, was in a good spot, short walk to the beach, but also close to the bars, shops , places to eat. The small café below it made excellent coffees and the staff were very friendly. My only gripe is it was very expensive for what you got, a tiny room, small bathroom etc... but most of Ko Samet's accommodation is overpriced, so its to be expected I guess !!!

Clean, good value”

For a two star hotel, I would rate it higher than 5.5...maybe 7.5. Place was clean and location central. Bathroom was difficult--door opened in and made doing anything a challenge. Shower was good. Could not get TV to work, but no big deal as I didn't really need it. If you want a cheap room in central location and cleanliness is important, try this place. As an aside, I did not eat at the hotel, although I could have. However, I had to rate the food or could not submit this review. Agoda needs to change their survery!!

Pleasant small hotel, easy to find, but bit noisy”

Stayed a couple of nights. It is on the left of the road a short walk up the hill from the ferry pier (head left after paying 10B to leave the port). It's location does mean it is a 10 min walk past the shops and bars to the beach - which I didn't mind. Perfectly nice room for the price. Clean. Check in was an ease with friendly staff. Internet worked in the room. A small balcony with a view over the fish pond. But it is on the main street and on a junction with all the motorbikes & trucks at all hours. On the Friday night the Thai's descended on Koh Samet and it was party-all-night. I resorted to ear plugs!! Ok neither of the last things are the fault of the hotel which was good for the price. But it is not a tranquil get-a-way!

Good Hotel for Budget Travellers”

Walking distance from pier, service was good and staff very friendly and helpful.. they let me choose which room i want and even rent me a bike with reasonable price.. They even recommended a good tour package and arranged everything through out my stay there.. highly recommend for hassle free and assurance from their service provided.. will return again..

Excellent ratio”

Convenient location. Loved the breakfast, delicious. The room has everything you need. I read past reviews, wrote about dirty water, nothing like that, everything is fine. The only thing is noise, and not from bikes, but from noisy gatherings in places nearby. We were with a child, so it was a bit noisy, but not critical. But a very big plus, proximity to the port. For solo travelers or couples, just perfect. Thank you for your hospitality!

The location was good. Walking distance in between the pier and the beach. Also close to where you can rent motorbikes. Yummy breakfast. Descent clean room, bed and bathroom except the water from the faucet which was light brown in color. The staff said it was okay to use. There were 2 wifi but the one that they gave didn’t reached the 3rd floor so we asked for the password of the second one which they said have the same password. Unfortunately it was incorrect so we used 3-4g in our phone instead. Nevertheless, it was a good stay overall. Would recommend and would come back again if given the chance.

Newly built good value”

hotel is newly built with good sized rooms, strong wifi and polite staff. About a 5 - 10 min walk to the beach (or 1 min on a scooter). On the main road in town.

Good location, only problem were the sheets.”

We stayed here for three nights in the end of our vacation on Koh Samet. The location to us was good, a five minute walk down to the beach, If you don't like to walk you should get something that's closer to the beach. The only thing we didn't like were the sheets. There were no sheets for the cover so I sincerely hope that they wash the cover between customers. The bed was quite hard to lie on, but I guess so are all beds in Thailand. We lived here because of the cheap price, and as expected, you get what you pay for.

Nice Stay”

I actually really liked the hotel, we had a room in the 3rd floor with a terrace and the people from the neighbor room weren't there so we had the terrace for us and could chill there. The room is nice too, of course there will be sand in the room if you go to the Beach everyday.. so i can't believe people that complain about that ... there a few ants but there are so small, i didn't even mind. The only bad thing about the hotel, is the water comming from the water faucet and bidet .. so we tried to never use it and wash even our hands in the shower.. because if you turn on the faucet the whole room will smell like human waste or like i can't even describe the smell but it's really bad. But if you avoid and remember to not use the sink, the room is really nice! I would book again

Basic but good value”

Nice budget rooms, located a bit of a walk from the beach (not that anywhere is really far away on Samet) but very close to the main pier. Clean and comfortable, no frills but not a bad place to bed down for the night. It is located right next to a school so expect noise in the mornings, but it's not like you'll have had a late night since there's nothing to do after about 11pm.

Nice and cosy environment ”

Warm welcome a nice designed room and in the middle of the center, close to most of the restaurants and shops. The beach is about 1 km away.

Very good”

We were very happy with our stay here. The rooms were nice and clean. It was an easy walk from the Ferry. For the price its a very nice place. The staff didnt seem to know much about the island or be able to help with any advice. But other than this it was great.

highly overpriced”

based on the service and the quality of the room, it is expensive. did not find the staff friendly in the least bit. if u get a room on the street side, u r gonna have loud nights. really the only good thing about the hotel was the location-as i didn't want to stay right on the beach. so 'anemities' were close. also, it's about a 5 min walk from the port. bathroom: the drain was blocked, so showering was not a pleasent experience. on arrival, u have to pay a 500bht deposit

Excellent location for an excellent island”

Sidewalk is just 3 minutes from the main ferry port. You're right in the thick of the main village which you walk through to get to main beach on the island. Staff were pleasant when we dealt with them which was rarely in 3 nights. Generally, very clean except there were a few marks on bed sheets and water from sink smelt horrendous. Would have happily stayed a few more nights on this fab island!

pretty hotel with a nice cafe”

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, it was close to the feery and a five minute walk to the beach. Standard was good and above our expectations. Only thing that was annoying was that the floor in the shower was abit uneven so the water took some time to drain.

Cheap & ckean but not so comfortable”

Cheap place to stay in an island full of resorts. Convenienlly situated in the "city center" with a few restaurants, bars and shops around and 2 min walk from the pier. The rooms are located above the coffee place. You can hear a lot of noise from the street but it's not so annoying. The rooms are clean and air con works well. Only real problem was the very uncomfortable mattress, also the tv did not work.

A nice coffee shop with rooms for rent”

its a little bit far from the beach but right on the main street. walking distance to the beach 10 min and 5 min to the Pier. its simple but fair and good for that price. i would go there again...

Amazing room with this price ”

I love this hotel, a bed , room , bathroom, breakfast everything perfect. Thanks the man(big boss)who offer a club sandwich for my breakfast. #Delicious #Nice
