always good ... we are frequent guests at the siamgrand ... we've tried other hotels including the centara udon thani and still go back to the siamgrand ... the only suggestion i have is that they should replace dirty tablecloths ... i believe from my last suggestion, I noticed that they now use place mats, which is much better, but the table cloths are still stained and should be replaced/washed...

We are Siamgrand regulars. When traveling from Laos to Udon Thani, we stay here on a fairly regular basis (2-3 times a month recently). Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Attentive and Responsive Service. Breakfast buffet continues to improve. (Look forward to eating there now.) I believe they pay attention to Agoda feedback. I suggested that they always have clean tablecloths. At first, they looked days old. Now, they are replaced when soiled. Kudos to the management.

Great Location”

We are frequent visitors to Udon Thani to shop. Because of the many stores to shop and restaurants to eat, we need more than one day. The Siamgrand delivers consistent service and clean rooms. Highly recommend it.

Big Rooms, friendly staff, recommended”

No complaints except swimming pools chemicals are too strong. Some reviews said saline but I think the chlorine combination needs tweeking. Rooms are quiet, very clean, well equipped, beds firm, but no English speaking movies anyway... This is probably why I won't stay here again. Everything else is great. Big C and night food markets within easy walking distance down highway 1500m. Huge carpark. Didn't see any Rolls Royce out the front this time. Good wifi, clean towels, coffee kettle in room. Hotel food is good. Gym is very basic. The now Famous Agoda reviewer Michael from Australia would be impressed with the Siamgrand.

We are regulars at the Siamgrand. We go there because of their price. Quick service. Clean spacious room. On multiple occasions, we've traveled from Laos to the Siamgrand just to be close to shopping, eating and relaxing. I highly recommend the hotel if you are on a budget, want a clean comfortable room and want to be close to all kinds of shopping.

Tried many hotels at the comparable price and continue to return back to the Siamgrand. Consistency is very important. Clean and comfortable room is why we get the Deluxe room with breakfast. We're regulars.

it was good as normal ... we are frequent visitors i was in room 1017 ... there were a couple things that need attention 1. internet was a bit slow upon our arrival ... staff fixed it immediately 2. water pressure was low and hot water was not hot (slightly warm at best( deficiencies forgiven .. does not change my opinion about staying at the siamgrand ... we are repeat customers and continue to do so ... hopefully thought, the will fix the issues

Hotel great, staff efficient, room a step above. Lots of granite tile, hot water from water heater, good water pressure, great fixtures and room layout. Outside of downtown so traffic low. Will pick up from airport. Rental cars from udon will pick up at hotel and drop at airport. Close to Big C mall and a few kilos from Centara mall. Makes for a relaxing stay very quiet. Great pool and gym.

Very quiet, very roomy, very clean, very nice”

Was very surprised how nice the hotel was. In the room, we felt we were in a higher end hotel. The negatives were the breakfast. We think it is geared to foreigners, but the food was not. They have transportation to the Central Plaza. I would stay at the Siamgrand again over the Centara which is next to Central Plaza. Great value. Great comfort

Siam Grand”

This hotel is one of the better places in Udon. The only downside is you will need transportation....your own or taxi and so on. Its not very close to food or entertainment. The rooms are very nice. Ive stayed here at least three times and the rooms are very clean and nice size. The restaurant has good Thai food and it has a place for fitness and a very nice size swimming pool. Great value for the money.

First Time Stay at Siam Grand”

First time ever had to pay a deposit for the room keycard and the hotel would not provide a second. Aircon and power switched off once you leave room, which reduces the comfort of the room. It's not that hot this time of year (August), but still hot enough to make the room unwelcoming when you return and takes a good half an hour to cool down. Junior Room Suite was spacious and comfortable, however, the poor workmanship/the hatchet job done on the tiling to install the shower door, spoilt the finish to the decor. No information in room or escape plan. Lacking in guests probably the reason for penny pinching actions. I would stay here again, the staff were typically Thai - smiling and happy to assist. Location no bother to us and convenient for the part of Udon Thani I come to visit. Good Thai pub across the road with live music every night and good thai food. Don't cross the road if you are intoxicated as it is one of the busiest in and out of Udon.
