          Only a 5-minute walk from the Pagoda at Mount Haguro, Shukubo Kanbayashi Katsukane offers Japanese-style rooms, vegetarian Japanese meals and free Wi-Fi. Guests can witness a Shinto religious ritual in June and September, which is performed at the property. Located next to Yasaka Jinja Shrine, the Shukubo is a 30-minute drive from Shonai Airport, and a 25-minute drive from JR Karikawa Train Station. Rooms are separated by sliding fusuma doors, and feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are fitted with a TV, yukata robes and complimentary green tea. Toilets and bathrooms are shared. Kanbayashi Katsukane Shukubo offers free parking and luggage storage. Guests can reach a convenience store within 10 minutes by car. Breakfast and dinner featuring seasonal vegetables, miso soup and rice are served at the dining area.

          Pleasant, tasty and Hospitable”

          This is a very nice inn directly at foot of the mountain hike. The accomodations are typical of a Japanese Minshuku. The helpfulness and kindness of the staff is superior.

          随神門の隣りになりますので、好立地です。宿坊ですので、精進料理になります。とても美味しい庄内米がいただけます。いでは文化会館も近くです。

          宿坊初體驗”

          這次來到出羽三山，因為行程安排問題，決定住在羽黑山，選擇這家在訂房網站可訂到的宿坊「神林勝金」，以下是其優缺點。 優點： 離羽黑山隨神門超近，公車站也不遠，是很棒的觀光據點，要注意的是，早上去寄行李，一開始還找不到人。 正統精進料理，但全是素菜，不是每個人都吃的慣。 缺點： 住宿的和式房間，沒給鑰匙，門也不能鎖，或許在神前相信人性本善，但終究有安全疑慮，浴室同樣不能鎖，像我一個人來，貴重物品都要藏好。 早晚餐全素精進料理，好不好吃見仁見智，不愛吃素者建議不含餐。 鄉下觀光景區，如果沒包晚餐，大約晚上7點後商店全部打烊，沒地方可吃飯，只剩販賣機。 退房時間早上9點，真的有點早，或許是宿坊，不準睡懶覺？ 工作人員中有一位歐巴桑服務較差，另外這裡沒人會說英文，所以假如不會日文，溝通會很困難。 整體來說，宿坊或許不適合我這種觀光客，但如果沒體驗過，還是可住一次看看。
