It's a cheap room, and it's not a bed room but an ondol room, and since it's an old accommodation, I didn't have high expectations based on my standards. Disadvantages: 1. There is a smell in the room. 2. The floor mat is old and not very clean; some parts are sticky, and some parts are slippery. 3. The bathroom floor is also slippery. 4. The convenience store prices are not cheap, and when I went, the hot water machine was broken, so I couldn't eat ramen or anything (there's a convenience store about 2-3 minutes away on foot, so it’s better to use that one). 5. The convenience store closes early. Advantages: 1. The water pressure in the bathroom is good, and both hot and cold water come out well. Since it's said to be hot spring water, I just use it. 2. The hot and cold water taps are different from regular bathrooms, with the right side being hot water and the left side being cold, so it's a new experience, and I can always ensure safety by turning the tap from the middle to test. 3. There are restaurants nearby, so the location is not bad. 4. The counter staff were as friendly as possible and worked hard to assist. Overall assessment: I probably won't go for the ondol room again.
First of all, both the front staff during the day and night are really kind, and the location of the accommodation is great. The hot spring water comes out in the room, which is good for maintaining smooth skin haha. Although it's quite an old resort, it seems well-maintained to some extent. The water flows well, the room is spacious, and the windows open well for ventilation. I think there’s no better price for those who want to cook spicy stew, ramen, or rice! However, the wind in Gangwon-do blows frighteningly, so in rooms with a view of the mountains, you can hear the sound of the wind all night haha. If you raise the window handle, the noise gets quieter, so be sure to close it properly!
I really didn’t expect the room to be that big but it was just perfect for three of us. I also liked the view from our room. Washroom had a bathtub too. Cooking equipments was there including induction. There is a big space for eating and warm your food in the downstairs. But there was no waterfilter in work. It would be appreciated to have the basic welcome kit like shampoo, soap and toothpaste in the bathroom and a bottle of water in the fridge. But there was none. Still I loved my stay. Hope to stay again In Sha Allah.
I had a lot of worries about accommodations when I decided to visit Sokcho during the peak season, but I came across Pine Resort while searching and made a reservation. As is known, it’s quite old and the hallways feel worn out, but the room was much cleaner and more pleasant than I expected. Especially, the bathroom seemed to be recently renovated, as I couldn't find any traces or odors of mold that are typical in older accommodations. I heard that the room water is hot spring water, and it feels like my skin has become smoother every time I wash in the bathroom. The location is right in front of Seoraksan, making it easy to go take the cable car, and Sokcho Beach and the central market are also about 20 minutes away by car, so it was convenient to get around. There weren't always staff at the information desk or convenience store, but they came quickly when needed and were kind as well. I'd like to visit again in the fall when the leaves change colors.

“Rest comfortably and it's nice.”
I just wanted to relax for a moment, but the scenery is so beautiful and there are mountain trails, so I'm leaving feeling rejuvenated. No matter how many times I come, the air is good, the water is good, and the natural scenery is great. It really feels like I'm resting well at my mom's house in the countryside. Everyone should give it a try; you won't regret it. I will definitely come back next time. The staff are also friendly and pleasant. I had a great healing experience. It's also good to come with kids. The floor is spacious, so we laid out blankets and slept together with the kids.
