Good quality hotel”
I have been to Yangon 4x and stayed 2 out of 4 in Sedona Hotel. Tried various hotels which really didn't suit me. Sedona was just perfect. Comfortable. Room was sized just right. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Fast Internet connection which you don't get often in Yangon. I'm training for a triathlon and this hotel has a huge pool that I used to do my laps. The hotel is across Inya lake which is a great place to go out for a run. I would definitely stay here again.

Still a Fancy Hotel”
Even though I’ve been reminded by my friends that it’s one of the oldest hotel in Yangon, upon approaching Sedona, it doesn’t appear to have dated at all. I stayed in the old wing, and it was still very fancy and modern. Impressed with how Sedona Hotel was able to adapt to changes through time. Location is just next to Myanmar Plaza and Inya Lake.

Nice hotel away from polutted downtown Yangon”
Yangon is a very polluted city. The air in downtown Yangon is filled with car fumes, and it gave my wife a headache. We are glad to selected Sedona hotel, and it is in a fairly quiet environment. Since taxi is cheap - $2 each way, we go everywhere by taxi. This hotel is nice and clean with relatively big rooms. The hotel staff are always nice, and open the doors for us. Good breakfast at the hotel, with lots of variety. We did not use the pool or other facilities. The foot massage in the hotel (not affiliated with the hotel) did not do a good job in foot massage. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel.

Excellent ”
Sedona Yangon is home away home. I can vouch that no other hotel in Myanmar can beat the superb Hospitality of Sedona. The staff is so cordial & warmth that they will think of solutions for you at a personal level. i have never experienced a NO during my last 11 years of continuous stay in Sedona. GM Mr Mok is personally involved in taking care of individual customers so as to make their stay comfortable & respond back ASAP on any of the issues. Ms Yadnar is a of great help anytime during your stay. i stayed in almost all the key hotels of Myanmar but SEDONA stands apart Hope to get the same service in times to come

Another delightful stay at the Sedona Yangon”
This was our fourth trip to Yangon and we have stayed at the Sedona every time. There are certainly cheaper places to stay that would be adequate for our needs but the value for the money (5 star accomodations at a very low price) and the friendly staff keeps us coming back again and again. Although this hotel is a little out of the downtown area, I would rather reside in a quieter location, take morning and evening walks by the lake and take the taxi or shuttle when I need to be in town.

Sedona Hotel - Yangon”
Overall a pleasant hotel to stay in. Hotel facilities are good and adequate. Very nice location, opposite Inya Lake. Hotel staffs have been very accommodating and friendly. Very helpful when we had a special request for our 3yr old. Only downside was that it is quite a bit of a distance from downtown Yangon. Proximity towards shopping areas is NOT within walking distance...need to grab a taxi. Overall still a worthwhile stay.

Greatly Improved”
I last stayed at the Sedona a few years ago and there were few other business class hotels in Yangon. Now there is a lot more competition and the Sedona has risen to the challenge. A huge improvement in service, hotel infrastructure and capabilities, plus a greatly enhanced pricing structure! Very helpful and courteous staff and relatively convenient for the airport if needing an early start. Will certainly stay again.

Really 5 star Hotel in Yangon”
This hotel is having a new wing now, also renovated the existed rooms. it is certainly important as more and more Hotel are coming out in Yangon city so Sedona needed to keep improving. Sedona is not located very near the business area but the surroundings make up for the shortfall. The internet is quite fast and reliable. Breakfast was good although options do not change much throughout the week. I always stay at Sedona Hotel when I travel to Myanmar because it is near the Shwedagon Pagoda as Shwedagon Pagoda is just one of the fantastic sites in Yangon. There is one new Shopping centre just opposite the Hotel now and i am able to find many eating house there and make my shopping much convenient when like to do shopping and taking my dinner outside the Hotel. There is a lake across the road that is great for running. Over the weekend the surrounding of the lake has many activities to take part. There are shops and markets just a short taxi ride away. The new airport is also not too far away so i will stay at Sedona when i visit Yangon again.

Old world luxury”
The Sedona experience Yangon was a complete experience with entertainment in the cocktail/piano lobby any time you choose. The hotel is decorated in old world Teak, gold and mother-of-pearl adornments. There is the newer section restaurant, a wonderful pool and large gym. Located on the inye lake With some local fare surrounding. Oh, and there is a new plaza on one side if you need. All staff were outstanding

Overall stay in this hotel was very satisfied. This is not my first time in this hotel. Normally will book only this hotel when coming to Yangon for my business trip. No regret, no difficulty and no hassle at all when I stayed in this hotel so far. Of course, in my next trip will make use of Sedona Hotel again and again. And also will recommend my colleagues to stay here whether for business trip or for leisure.

Hospitable Sedona”
As a 5 star hotel in Yangon the edona offers the businessman all round service and the staff are very polite and helpfull. I hve stayed at the Sedona and found it good value for money and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to a family or single person. The pool area is large and very family friendly. The Chinese, Italian and the Irish bar have a good atmosphere and are prepared to cook just the way you like it. I enjoy the early checkin as the hotel is not too busy and the rooms large and you never feel closed in like so many hotels. I for one will be staying there again.

Peaceful comfortable place to stay in Yangon!”
This is an excellent hotel that charges a reasonable price for its services and amenities. The staff is well-spoken in English and tried and succeeded to make my stay extremely special. It is nicely situated in a quiet part of town with great views of Inya Lake which is just across the street. One of the better shopping centers is a safe 10 minute walk away. The hotel has a wide array of sports activities available and several dining areas serving a wide-variety of international foods. I would definitely stay here again!!

Fine Hotel in Pleasant Location”
the hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, about a ten-minute taxi ride from downtown yangon and just across the road from lake inya. staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke good english. my room was clean, comfortable and had everything i required. the breakfast buffet was excellent and offered something for all tastes.

Proper place proper price”
Sedona in Yangon is not a small building. The lobby area is Not cozy nor elegant, but still useful. However quite comfortable to stay in may ways. Foods are excellent. Servce is quite fast. However, Should be more strict about "SMOKING" rule inside of hotel. There was a chinese gem convention when I was there. So many chinese in the hotel and they smoke at everywhere!! Can't stand with it except my room.

Great service and great value in Yangon”
We had great overnight stay at the Sedona. The pool was beautiful and the hotel was a nice escape from the pending craziness of the Water Festival and New Year celebrations happening in the country. This hotel isn't downtown, but it's equally accessible to both central Yangon and the airport, which was the main reason we decided to saty here. Overall, everything was great, but if I had to improve anything, it would be the breakfast, which didn't have very many options.

Sedona Yangon is very nice. The room deco is very much like Grand Plaza Parkroyal in Spore. Breakfast selection is excellent. The staff was awesome and they come in the clean the room twice a day. This hotel has a nice swimming pool and tennis courts. The massage at the spa starts from US$50. This hotel is a bit far from the city. About US$2-3 ride from the city. Overall it was good.

Excellent staff and hospitality”
I would like to commend Ms Khine Thinzar Htet who was not only professional in unserstand customer requests, she is well versed in English and has a great customer attitude. I was trying to ask for her help to get a room with a better view ie Inya lake view. Normally, a staff will check and tell you that im sorry Sir that we are full or there is additional charge for changing to a room with a better view. Ms Khine Thinzar went the extra length to search 2 rooms which I might like and she personally showed me the rooms. The personal treatment to make sure that I am comfortable really impresses me. I am impressed with great Burmese customer service from the example of Ms Khine Thinzar Htet. Thank you once again Ms Khine Thinzar.

My second time at Sedona”
This is my second time at Sedona Yangon. I love the location since it's across the street to Myanmar Plaza. This time I was upgraded to a deluxe room a new building. Facility is very new and modern. A plus is an amenity set from L'Occitane which is super nice and high quality. The room is neat and clean with soft, but firm mattress which put me into a good sleep every night. Definitely come back here again the next time.
