Passing Through”
As we were having a weeks vacation with the family, travelling from Phuket to Chiang Mai and back I chose hotels that had the facility of a swimming pool. Unfortunately the Season Palace Hua Hin were having staff problems in keeping their pool clean. (or maybe a filter problem). Either way the pool was absolutely filthy! And that's coming from someone who has had and maintained a pool for over 25 years. The water was not only murky, which can happen, but it was brown murky, which was dirty water. The 3 b't put a toe in water that was that dirty. Sorry, I am aware that it is the low season in Thailand and all hotels are struggling to stay in business, but there really is no excuse for not keeping a pool clean. All it requires is to backflush the filter regularly and add the appropriate amount of chemicals, if not a salt water pool, which this wasn't. We were also unaware that the restaurant was closed in the evening. Which turned out to be a blessing as it forced us to go into Hua Hin to one of the many great restaurants and have a nice dinner and evening.

Cheap and convenient”
Located 15 minutes out of Hua Hin, the Season Palace is a nice and relatively cheap hotel. It has a great breakfast, bacon, eggs, sausage, ham, salad. The hotel is a distance out of town but offers a free shuttle into town until 6 pm. Getting back requires a taxi which is not overly pricey. We chose this location because it was near our friends house so it was convenient for us. The staff speak decent English and try and help as much as possible. The location is very close to the highway and train, which will sound like an earthquake the first time, but only goes past every few hours. Room was decent and clean, toilet needs renovation but was ok.

Worth your money! ”
Good :- easy access location, location just beside the road. Easy to find transport (tut tut or van), room is spacious, biggest appreciation to the hotel chef because he cook breakfast separately for us due to we are muslim. Hotel have free transportation to hua hin town. Can be improve :- receptionist not speak english so well, hard to communicate but thanks to google translate :) A little not ok, but not a big deal :- location is quite far from hua hin town, but not a problem since hotel is providing free transportation to town. Overall, we are really satisfied with this hotel. Worth your money :)

Value for money”
Although the hotel is bit far from the city center, its a clean, quiet hotel. The staff are very friendly and ready to help out 24 hrs. They have the shuttle service to the city center. The food is amazing, nice swimming pool, and overall its one of the best hotel in Hua Hin.

Good place as motel ”
I found this hotel very far from city center in fact, and it's inconvenience for my family to explore Hua Hin. But the shuttle bus provided by hotel is perfectly arranged by the front desk staff. Room is not very spacious but it's ok so far, facilities are old fashioned, and seems not to be well maintained. Lots of mosquitos inside the room or maybe we came in the rain season. Cleanliness is also another concern. But the breakfast is really good as a motel with very nice staff at the restaurant. Service staff at front desk especially helpful and we are very much appreciated their support.

Great service, horrible location”
we were looking for something relatively cheap in the hua hin area and we booked this hotel based on the previews that we read. however, there are several important issues that we wish we would have known when making our decision. first, there is a train track about 20 meters away from the back of the hotel, where our room is facing. the train ran throughout the night, so needless to say, my finance and i was woken up every 30 min-1hr interval due to the loud noises. in addition to the train, i can also hear that sound of cars and trucks whoosing by the main street, which is in front of the hotel. the very stiff mattress also ensure that it would be hard for you to fall asleep. though the bedroom area is spacious, the bathroom is tiny, so that when you sit down on the toilet, your face is almost in the sink. by the way, the sink is also ridiculously small. it is only about 1/2 the size of the normal bathroom sink (you would think it is cute, until you tried washing your face or shaving in it). our plumping also stop working in the morning, but when we called the front desk, they sent up the plumber to fix it right away. so the bottom line is this, don't book this hotel unless you are a really heavy sleeper who doesn't mind using a small bathroom.

Despite decent”
The hotel could be quite noisy as its situated very near to the Hua Hin airport and planes just take off and lands very frequent, not to mention that its near a railway and main road, so all the noise could be heard quite loudly. Internet is very slow, if there's a lot of guests checked-in Internet became unusable. You need to be patient with the staff here, you might have to ask them twice, they got a lot of work on hand. But so far, I'm quite pleased with the service, best value you can find in Hua Hin in this price range.

The room was spacious with a nice large bed. The bathroom was old and very small and did'nt look anywhere as on the hotels websites pictures. Dissapointing. The hotel is located to far from centre Hua Hin and shuttle service runs only a few time Friendly staff and a nice pool. Would I come back..? Probabely not.

Hotel is ok,easy Access off main no 4 road into Hua Hin,Staff where friendly and polite,Large choice for breakfast,but I'm afraid most of it was barely warm,Its approximately 7km into the centre of Hua-Hin,No hotel service that takes you in,No bus,and Staff dont know where or how to get a taxi,so felt a bit let down by that.

a wee way from town ”
it was our last minute booking when we arrived to Hua Hin. The hotel is not far from airport but quite a way to the city. You certainly need own vehicle or transport to get there. We found the room had a lot of mosquitos but when i asked the reception, they brought us the spray.

Nice but old”
I did choose this Hotel because of the wonderful pics and the price. But when I changed my room, after 3 sleepness nights, I got a room, who was very dirty, full of dust everywhere. The furniture has her best days long behind them, the pics will show you. But the rooms are big, you have a small balcony, many space where you can store all your things. AS I'm 3 month in Thailand, I took a lot with me. After cleaning by my own, I could store easily all things from my large baggage. The staff was very kindly and helpful, except one of the reception. She wasn't able to call the minivan and tell them, that they should pick me up when they pass the Hotel. Anyway I did enjoy my stay at Season Palace.

the hotel was new when we stayed there. the second wing was still being constructed. so it was slightly noisy. the hotel is about 15min drive to hua hin night market. it isn't suitable for visitor without cars. we were warmly welcome by the owner himself.

Convenience new hotel with good service”
This hotel is quite good for people who want to escape the city center. it is not far from the downtown and only 10 minutes drive. We loved American breakfast that they made fresh and served warm. Only sound from the street when cars drive pass the hotel that made us woke up early but it was good to have a great breakfast anyway.

Noisy Hotel”
The hotel shows its age and need work, especially painting. Maintenance on hotel is lacking. It is also some Kilometres from the city centre of Hau Hin. The hotel is noisy, train going past at the rear of the hotel, traffic on the highway at the front. You can here people in the adjoining rooms and also anyone walking and talking up and down the corridor. I may stay there again but would never pay full price.

Away from the city, but...”
We planned on a 2 day stay but were won over by the staff. Food was good and pool nice. Breakfast free and was also very good. A bit away from the city center but scheduled "truck" provides free transport. Only drawback is when it rains, you get wet...we got wet one time. Overall it was a good stay of about 10 days. If you don't like trains, request a room at the front of hotel. The train went by our window frequently, but we didn't mind it.
