Lovely resort. Very clean and maintained both inside and out. Excellent breakfast included in room rate. Excellent dinners at very reasonable price between 12 to 15 nz dollars. Our room was the basic room. Still excellent. Large bed. Big fridge. Balcony. Jug. Coffee etc.Aircon. Excellent room rate. Drink prices only a little more than the nearby convenience store. Nice little beach. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Overall we had a lovely experience on koh samet. Would definitely recommend. Extra costs. When u land on the wharf from ferry you pay 20 baht each. Going though the town you have to pay another 100 each to the park wardens Ferry prices 50 baht one way. Bus to Bangkok from ban phe wharf is 165 each. Mini bus from pattaya to ban phe 450 including one way ferry. Enjoy KohSamet

All you could wish for to make your stay on Koh Samet very comfortable and very memorable… We upgraded to a Sea View Deluxe room… something I would definitely recommend doing…our room A2 meant a beautiful sea view with no steps or stairs! Room very clean and really well decorated. Good beds, lovely shower room and good tea/ coffee making facilities… Food there was really good and fairly priced. Good breakfast with good selection. Situated right in the corner of the long sweeping bay it had such an “ away from it all” feeling. Staff very attentive… even calling our Speedboat company to confirm our return…

Great location”
After the stress of getting here from main land, it was time to enjoy this great place. The staff is super friendly and the check in easy. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. The resort is on the beach and the beach itself was awesome. For the snorkeled, there were plenty of spots to pick from off the beach in front of resort. You could spend hours out there. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast buffet was great. One negative that could not be avoided was the mosquitos. Just bring some repellent and it will all be good. Would definitely be back.

The deluxe sea view was everything we hoped for and more - clean, spacious, incredible view, tasteful decor, great air con. The beach right on site is small, but a 2 minute walk takes you to a much larger area of same white sand with beachfront cafes. Not too crowded on a weekday. Easy to rent a moto nearby and taxi truck back to the pier was easy, though pricey (200 baht). Restaurant had good food and creative yummy smoothies and cocktails. We already booked a return visit next month!

Solo traveler”
I stayed there for 3 nights in the room with balcony for 1 or 2 people. I was there by myself so I decide for one bed. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast was good and the food was really good. I ate Thai food. For me everything was good, I don’t have anything to complain. It was simple and enough. But if you go in couple, it’ll be better stay in one of the bangalôs that they have!

Wonderful staff, specially Dee J. Food was great too, enjoyed dinner on the beach where there’s spectacular fire show. Didn’t liked the BBQ though. The foot massage at Lotus massage was calming & clean too. note* there’s a lot of rocks in the sea water, if u plan to swim, try walking to the resort beside. p.s it’s still rocky but better

We had an ocean view room which had beautiful views from 2 sides plus a deck. The room was very comfortable, nicely decorated. Great bathroom. The property is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The food was decent hotel food. Very much enjoyed hanging out on the beach. Seemed very family friendly.

Lovely resort right at the beach”
We did enjoyed a really relaxing escape to Kho Samed. Our bungalow was absolutely confortable and clean. Staff at reception- and the restaurant, plus room sevice were very friendly und helpful. Some of the intern. guests gave the locals a hard time- and we felt sorry. Breakfast and food was most delicious. We definitely look forward to another visit at Samed Villa.

Nice stay”
We really loved the stay with our family, with the hotel and the beach so accessible. Can't say enough good things about the staff. They were so nice even though they were understaffed and super busy. My one complaint is that there were a few guests who either played music late into the night on the balcony of their rooms, or in once case, a table bought a boom box to the dinner area and the staff were 'too nice' to tell them to turn it off. Kind of ruins the evening when you can't sleep or eat in peace. Still, I put that down to the rude guests but the hotel could put up signs making clear that these things are unacceptable.

We really love the room and design, it was well maintained, clean and relaxing. Breakfast is satisfying in the new normal way. The staff is friendly and helpful in general. You can rent snorkel and fins, kayak and Stand up paddle but not all of the item are in good condition. Overall a lovely experience with Samed Villa Resort

Great place for relaxation”
We found Samed Villa Resort exact as they described here. The view and amenities of this resorts are amazing. Staffs are very friendly and ready to serve. The resort is quiet large. The breakfast area is the most charming place in the resort. The room was very good. Wifi was great too. Their food is best across the Samed Island i suppose. Overall we loved the place and will stay here again if we visit Samed again.

I love this resort. Stuffs are very helpful and friendly. Food is delicious! And there has so many bar long the beach. Our room beach front is very comfortable. I travel with my mum and she loves to go back there again once we visit Koh Samed!

What a disappointment ”
We have had many holidays on Koh Samet but this was the most expensive and the most disappointing. All the reviews commended the food, which is a critical part of our holiday. The resort was so beautiful, our room was excellent with all the facilities in it. The resort location was fabulous, the staff smiling and friendly. But.....the food was very poor. Huge variety of breakfast dishes but all Luke warm or cold.. the coffee was lukewarm and the boy making the omelette was very inexperienced, the end result floating in oil with a texture of scrambled egg. The diviner’s in the evening were just average and ordinary, nothing special. We only have three day holidays, and spent a little more on the resort because of its rating and reviews. Fortunately we found a fabulous swimming beach in the next small bay over and we swam twice per day in the clean water and the pristine beach, which was infinitely better than the Stony beach by the resort, our salvation to a enjoyable holiday.

Very happy we chose Samed villa. Great location with restaurant tables overlooking and sometimes on the beach. Good value, clean and very pleasant staff. Sea is clean with many fish to be seen if you use a mask & snorkel.

Lovely place for honeymoon/vacation”
The place is nice, beautiful, and comfy. The staffs give us the best room (room A19), in front of restaurant and just 30m to the beach! The receptionist is fluent in english, and all the staffs are polite and nice! It was pleasant experienced for me and my wife and i will definitely be back to this place someday. Super recommended for everyone who wants a lovely experience at koh samed. Thanks samed villa resort!
