Really enjoyed”
Really enjoyed our stay, will go back. Lovely pool, food really excellent best in town. Khmer style wooden restaurant beautiful. Best part the really friendly staff and free bicycles to go exploring. Rooms great with mosquito nets, though didn't see any mosquitos as really clean place. Can't fault it and stay in hotel rooms over 200 times a year for my work. This was a holiday stay.

Great weekend getaway from Phnom Penh”
I really enjoyed my stay, the hotel is conveniently accessible by smooth (pothole free) roads.. Nice and green.. Japanese hotel manager spoke fluent english and all staff very courteous.. Rooms spacious and clean.. breakfast sumptous.. I would definately recommend this place..

Beautiful hotel with amazing helpful staff”
The room was beautiful and excellent value but what made this stay one of the best stays we had in Cambodia were the people working there who were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too mych trouble and the amazing food. Delicious al a carte menu and the breakfast was excellent too.

Natural Paradise in Kampong Thom”
Very beautiful hotel next to the river. It's a short walking distance from the market and center. The staff there is really friendly, they have great bicycles free of charge for the guests. We have been allowed to bring our own food for cooking inside. Overall my go-to place in Kampong Thom!

The staff are very good, kind and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and suites are private with your own patio. The pool is great and the food is excellent. Very close to town. A relaxing retreat!!!

The best option to stay and chill between temple hopping in Sambor Prey Kuk and hill climbing at Mount Suntuk. The Khmer staff is 5 stars!

Perfect”
A little off the path between Siem Reap & Phnom Penh, spSambir Village Hotel is simple place without oretention but well thought out, Eas going staff who takes things seriously. We particularly enjoyed the well maintained mountain bikes & did the suggested ride through villages & across the river - it was a highlight. Also the Prei Kuk temple site set in a beautiful sub tropical forest was worth the stop in itself. Lastly, the food at the hotel was amongst the best we have eaten so far - the breakfasts are basic, but the dinner menu is fantastic. Smoky eggplant with minced pork or the fish with mango salad.... Yum! Will definitely return if ever we pass this way again.

Oasis in Cambodia ”
This gem is a must. If you decide to grt a bit deeper into the countryside yet want to escape into a quiet retreat this place is great. A couple of nights stay is good. Snoop around in the am then come back in the afternoon to chill to read a book, enjoy a snack, swim and the have a nice relaxing evening meal. Great food, staff & stay!

Lovely Oasis”
Beautiful location on the river. This is a sanctuary away from town and just what we needed after a long day on our bicycles. Rooms were lovely as was the pool. Breakfast was awesome too. Thank you.

Close to the hectic city centre but in a very quiet and charming location. Amazing garden. Free bikes! The fabulous countryside is a short bike ride from the hotel. Recommended. Delicious breakfast : we liked the muesli and the homemade jam.

Fantastic hotel in Kampong Thom ”
Quiet location, nice garden, comfortable beds and a superb breakfast. The restaurant serves tasty dishes for lunch and dinner too. The mountain bikes are for free and the countryside is very close. This must be the best option in Kampong Thom. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it very much.

Sambor Village is a lovely hotel, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. However, I still think the hotel is quite expansive in term of value for money compared to what you can get in Cambodia.

Relaxing, small house in the garden. Great staff makes you feel home”
Very well runned place. Staff very friendly and helpfull. We had the most wonderfull stay for 5 nights. Good breakfast and good food for lunch and dinner. Swimmingpool is great for a cooling dip. Little oasis in Kampung Thom, but skip the restaurant”
Little oasis in a small smoggy town like Kampong Thom. We stayed one night in Sambor Village as a pit stop from Phnom Pehn to Siem Reap, to visit the nearby temples of Sambor Pei Kuk. The best place to stay in Kampong, this hotel felt like a true escape from the busy road town. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool and garden with 'bungalows' with patio, airco & fan, stone bathroom with rain shower and a super outdated tv, that works fine by the way. The room had wifi, but the connection is the best in the restaurant/'lobby area' unfortunately, but this gives you an escape from your online life on holiday. Free bikes to explore area. Diner in the beautiful original wooden house was a big disappointment! Flavorless beef noodle soup and salt less oven pizza. We know we were close to the river and in a garden, but the place was filled with flying white bugs that fell in our food all the time. So we truly recommend the hotel, but skip the restaurant unfortunately.

We had a great stay at Sambor Village and were really surprised to find such a beautiful hotel in Kampong Thom. The staff were very helpful -- arranging tours to the temples and transportation to Siem Reap. Food was also excellent and very cheap given the location.
