Exceptional and recommend for those who would like to experience Japanese hotel style”

The hotel’s services and stuffs are really nice, super polite and helpful. I forgot my aligner (for teeth) in the dining room, and the stuff brought it back to me. Dinner and breakfast are like traditional Japanese made from local ingredients, and most importantly delicious. You will get the real traditional Japanese feeling while staying here. So cool :D

The room temperature might be a bit too warm.

A comfort hotel”

The hospitality service of staffs is superb! I have a very nice time relaxing and staying here in this hotel. The onsen is small; however, very comfort. The meals are huge and there are various kinds of Japanese food for you to taste. I have never eaten this full before both dinner and breakfast. My experience here is unforgettable.

It is not in a walking distant from the station so you might have to take a 10 mins taxi ride to the hotel.

The traditional Japanese inn at the best”

Nice Japanese style room with open bath. The open bath was large and very relaxing. The hotel was quiet and clean. It is one of the best traditional Japanese Inn we stayed. (We stayed in Hakone, Kyoto, Hakodate and Atami hot springs in the past. They were all good but Jidaiya was the best so far.)

It is located a little far from the major train and bus station. You need to take taxi to go around. The Japanese tatami room experience was nice but wish we had a small table and chairs so that we could be little more comfortable. The room had two chairs but not conveniently placed.

Our stay at Saikatei Jidaiya was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and hospitable, we have never seen something quite like this before. We stayed in a room with a private onsen which was squeaky clean and featured a mini garden, that made our stay perfect. If you are looking for a great ryokan experience, this is the place to go.

Great ryokan and service in a charming old town”

Charming ryokan. The staff were always smiling and ready to help. our room has in room onsen and bath so it was convenient. Breakfast and dinner consisting mostly of local produce were exquisite.

The staff were not too familiar with the town and gave us wrong info regarding opening hours. We walked almost an hour in the cold and found the izakaya closed.

An affordable luxury, Jidaiya Hotel is a jewel of service.”

The Jidaiya Hotel has taken service to the level of an art form. Every detail, from being welcomed with hot tea at registration to being guided through the hotel and onsen to the gorgeous property itself was a truly luxurious experience. Each staff member I met was kind and encouraging- obviously taking pride in being associated with such a wonderful establishment. The food was delicious and gorgeous- whoever designs the meals is a world-class chef. For the Western traveler, I encourage you to spend the time to go to Kaminoyama. The local Tourism center is wonderful, too and there’s plenty to do for the day after your stay at Jidaiya Hotel. It’s an experience I won’t forget but hope to repeat again.

Tout était parfait ! De l'accueil avec un thé chaud, la présentation détaillée de l'hôtel, ce magnifique dîner japonais accompagné d'un très beau vin de la région soigneusement sélectionné, le onsen extérieur et enfin le merveilleux petit déjeuner japonais. "Un séjour à l'auberge, sinon rien !"”

Une auberge japonaise traditionnelle très accueillante, à l'écoute, proposant une chambre typiquement japonaise de haute qualité, des onsen (intérieur et extérieur, homme ou femme) et des repas gastronomiques mémorables ! A deux km de la gare, à pied (20/30min) ou en taxi (1030¥). Bref, une excursion zen et gourmande !

Attention, pas de navette gratuite, comme indiquée dans l'annonce.
