Easy access and super friendly staff”

It was a great 3d2n stay. Our room is mainly for sleep, shower & rest. Fit the purpose. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room service (for requested items) responded promptly. We managed to get an early check-in (requested during booking). The room size is just nice. Enough space for a prayer mat. The bedsheet and linen are clean. No musty smell in the room. The toilet is ok. However, the water pressure in the shower is quite slow. Will be better if the pressure is much better. The hot & cold defined itself. The location is in the middle of town. Easy access to eateries (just opposite the mall and business centre) and walking distance to some attractions (Heritage walk, mural art, waterfront) Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Will definitely stay here again for my next visit.

Good choice”

Very affordable to stay here. Breakfast included. I'm enjoying stay here. Room was cleaned. Buy room with sea view with king bed. The upsidedown was there's a connecting door to the next room. It was locked but we can hear noise from the other room. So it's not privacy 🥺. Not sure if all the room had the connecting door or not. Not advisable to go here with your own car. It's was always jammed & hectic town, no available parking during the day. We had to go around for about 3-4 times only then we finally got a parking space nearby. Thank God!! Hmmm, about the noise for construction during the day and karaoke during night (because there's always had people gathered at night outside the hotel), I don't really bother for it. 🤭

Best Location in Town”

Waking up in the morning sunshine and refreshing sea view panorama and yet its located in the busiest area of Sandakan where you can find almost everything within walking distance from the hotel. The staffs were all very friendly and helpful. I would love to bring my family here in my next visit to Sandakan.

Problem with agoda or the hotel?”

Ive already made full payment and booking 2 weeks prior check in date. But when we arrived at the hotel on the day that ive booked, the hotel said they do not received any booking from us through agoda. We had to stay and wait at the lobby for about 30 mins before the staff decided to just check us in to available rooms

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”

This hotel has changed name three times, from IBIS to Sandakan Styles and now ELOPURA. I have stayed here under all names. I found out that under the new brand and management, things are getting very much better than before. Highly recommended for those coming to Sandakan, and I rated it as The Best Hotel in Sandakan Town. They are renovating rooms now and hopefully you will get a brand new room when you stay here.

Great Location in Sandakan”

Newly renovated, very nice decor. Closest to the sea compared with other hotels in Sandakan. Lots of parking space at the Harbour Mall, just few meters from the hotel. Plenty of food choices nearby.

Great Stay! ”

One of the best spots to be in Sandakan, this modern hotel is a great place to be to explore the city. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and the rooms are bright and clean. The buffet breakfast was also good value for money. Would definitely return if back in Sandakan.
