      “Must stay in Hakone ”

This was one of the most unforgettable moments I’ve had in Hakone. It was my third visit, and this ryokan is by far the best! The hot spring was very clean and comfortably hot—it left my skin and hair feeling incredibly soft. The staff were professional and exceptionally kind. As soon as we arrived at the gate, they welcomed us warmly with a personal greeting. The dinner course was excellent—every dish was carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. The breakfast was also wonderful and beautifully presented.

      “Beautiful Ryokan”

Location is about 12 mins walk from the station, either up the slope or up the staircase. It was actually fine for my family with 3 children because we each carry our own backpack. Food was great and so filling. Staff were kind and helpful. Onsen is clean and all the facilities are good.

      “Very relaxing”

We had a very nice stay at this ryonkan in Hakone! I wanted to experience a very traditional ryonkan which is definitely that. Our room was larger than expected with a large eating room, sitting area, prayer room, bathroom with toilet and a separate room with the private onsen. All rooms were separate with traditional sliding doors. The beds were so comfy, we each got a twin size bed. We both have tattoos but because we were the only guest staying at the time, they did not mind us using the public baths. They have 2 nice good size public baths that they switch out the next day (men and women) so we got to experience both baths. It was so relaxing! The highlight was definitely the meals. We missed the dinner the first night because we arrived around 20:00 but the breakfast and dinner next day was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh, simple, and cooked perfectly, it really beat going out to any restaurant. Breakfast is served at 8:00 or 8:30 and dinner is at 6:00 or 6:30. Come hungry for dinner because it was 6 course meal.

      “Amazing stay in Hakone”

We had an amazing stay here in Hakone. The place was serene and beautiful. Traditional ryokan style with really awesome breakfast and dinner courses. Dinner really was the best Japan had to offer. The lady who serviced us during our stay was so wonderful. She made our stay and meal service such a joy, like a grandma’s home. Every single staff we met was so friendly. The bath houses were very clean and relaxing after a long day out on the streets of Hakone. My little girl truly enjoyed her first ryokan stay. The only down side is that it is situated on an upslope. The elderly might want to cab up. Otherwise manageable for even my young girl.

      “Amazing place and experience”

Location is pretty straight forward from the Hakone Yumoto Station, a lil bit of walk but it's manageable. We don't have luggage at the time though. The ryokan is very nice. It was quite an experience to sleep on a futon bed, which was surprisingly very comfy. A room attendant was assigned to us to cater for the room and food. Dinner was a 7 course one, with legit Japanese food. Breakfast was also Japanese food. There was a private onsen bath in the room made out of wood which was really well kept and clean as well. Overall this was an amazing experience!
