One of the Best Hotel in Aomori!”
The staff were very friendly! Room was clean and spacious. The view was aslo beautiful.. There is a bakery, convenient store, and some restaurants on the 1ft floor next to the entrance building. They provide clean umbrella that you can borrow when it rains. It takes around 10 minutes walk from the hotel to the station. Wishes there were more facilities we can do at the hotel. But with its price, definately would recommend this hotel!

The hotel is a bit far from Train station (Aomori) with walking distance around 15-20 min but nearby 7-11 and Aomori park within 5 min walk. They provide car park for guest with 900 yen per day. Have 3 laundry machines on 6th floor. Lobby is on 6"5th floor.

Newer and clean facility. Good for sightseeing if you take a rental car. Larger bedding and larger bathroom. Restaurants in the same building are various kind of cuisine, including Tony Roma's BBQ restaurant.

Superb service”
Our family of 4 spent 5nights in this hotel. No complaints, everyone was satisfied. Spacious room, Big bathtub, good amenities and clean. Their service is one of the best among the japan hotels i had stayed. Tho they do not speak good English but they will try their best to answer our questions. To the extend of searching online, calling to check and providing us with a few options or alternatives. Breakfast was simple, fresh and tasty. Lawson and few restaurants/cafe below (beside) the hotel. Complimentary parking and we were nearby to most attractions. Would definitely stay in Richmond hotel if we are back in Aomori!

Best Location, wonderful service, beautiful rooms”
i researched almost 10 hotels for our anniversary stay in aomori and i almost couldn't believe the offer agoda was suggesting was real, a beautiful hotel for a wonderful price. we took the train in and walked the best part of downtown aomori for about 20 minutes stopping at coffee and shopping on the way to the hotel. once we got to the hotel, the service was all smiles and their english was wonderful. they gave me my pick of some bath salts and other spa items. we experienced no trouble and no problems getting in. we were in the 12th floor in a beautiful room. the staff were helpful and always concerned for us to have a wonderful stay. i cannot wait to go back there!

Great accommodation in Aomori”
The Richmond hain offers some great accommodation in smaller cities and Aomori is a great example. Good sized rooms, friendly staff, and a booking spread across six rooms (being allowed to check-in early), and an interesting breakfast spread are all good points. Also, being half-way through a two week trip means the laundry is a bonus for our group. Possibly the main down-side is the distance from the train station, but that is a minor issue and there are pleanty of other hotels as far/further. A short taxi or modest walk mean it is still a good option.

Great Location, Great Service!”
this is was a lovely hotel. very classy. we drove in and spent one night. we liked that they had parking attached to the hotel, that can be hard to find in japan. the service was great. we bugged them a lot about where to go and what to see, they were more than willing to help us and spoke great english. very helpful! the room was small, but comfortable. they did a lot with that little amount of space. great bathroom -- big bath and good water pressure and temperature. the hotel is right downtown and very easy to find. we were able to get taxis to and from without difficulty. we had a great time at the richmond hotel!

Great hotel and location, helpful front desk”
This is a great hotel, clean and well-located. Breakfast buffet in the hotel was fantastic. There is a Lawsons, Tony Romas, fresh bakery, and Italian/French restaurant on the bottom 2 floors of the hotel if you don't want the hotel breakfast; the bakery alone was worth it. We rented a car so didn't worry about public transportation to any of the tourist sites but the hotel is at the end of the main shopping street so there are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The station is about a 15 -20 minute walk from the train staion with 60 lb suitcases rolling down the street so not bad at all. All in all, will definitely stay at this hotel again when in Aomori.

Impressive hotel with great breakfast”
We chose the comfortable room which is a bit larger than the standard room and was really happy with the room. The bed is larger than normal double bed at other hotels. Room has more space to put luggage and walk around. The light is bright. Shower is comfortable. Even though there is no separate zone for shower but the curtain is curved outward so it is not cramped when showering in the bathtub. The room overall look new and much nicer than shown in the photo. I was reluctant at first because the room photos doesn't look that clear but decided to go for it trusting on good reviews. Breakfast has many selection with good coffee. Parking is automatic garage with a charge of 900 yen overnight. It is not that close to the main road around the train station. Luckily we decided to go for dinner around that area first before coming back to hotel.

Repeat Visit”
By accident I booked a smoking room - while I was ok to put up with this, many people would find it pretty bad. Japan smoking rates are declining and hotels should make more effort to go non-smoking. Probably the Richmond is catering for guests that do smoke. Other than that, it is still one of the best rated places in Aomori and I will be using the property again. One of the things I do like is the breakfast as it is not the same every day and has good and tasty options. As a business hotel, it has good facilities for a long trip (like laundry), and room size is good.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and loved it. Room was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was very good with an excellent shower. Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was fantastic and included a great selection of Japanese and Western food - the apple juice was the best I have ever had. We loved Aomori and will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit.

Lovely hotel and courteous staff”
15 mins walk from Aomori station, the hotel is situated close to shops and the bay is close by. The hotel has all the modern facilities you'd expect to find in a higher price range. Staff spoke good english and were very courteous. The bed was a double and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again.

Amazing hotel”
Hotel service: top notch. Was presented with free gifts (mask, bath salt x2 types, hair tie, Moisturizers) upon check in by the lobby staffs. Room: reasonably spacious, view of a snow capped mountain, free handy smartphone Facilities: amazing, includes vending machines and laundry. Best of all, laundry status could be tracked from TV in room, thus saving time to go down to the laundry room to check. Soundproof between rooms are great too! Would definitely stay with richmond group agn!

Best hotel in Aomori ”
This was our second stay in hotel Richmond and it did not disappoint . The hotel was clean and the staff was polite and spoke English . the concierge helped us with the taxi to get to our location . I loved all the extra samples we got for room to include a face mass bath soak and a Shea butter lotion. With a Tony Roma's and a bakery downstairs that you don't really need to go anywhere for food there's also a convenient store downstairs as well. I plan on staying here again before we leave

Nice hotel, with friendly staffs”
Hotel was great; although a bit far from the Aomori station. Walking from the hotel to the station takes about 20 mins. Lobby is on the 5th floor. The staffs were very helpful, and can speak quite good English. The room we got was big; compared to some of the other hotels we've stayed in Japan. Even with 3 single beds in it, there was still a lot of space left. There's a discount for hotel visitors at the restaurants downstairs (there's a Japanese restaurant, cafe and Tony Roma's).
