Varmland hotels & accommodations

Great experience. I did not get to try the food, but breakfast was included. In a town where everything is closed by 10 p.m., it was nice to find a place with a late-night desk. For almost the same price as another hotel on the same street, this place was much better. The internet actually worked, and the building was more up to date.

We had a family room which was just perfect for 4 of us. Linens were clean and kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils. Our room was located on the upper floor and a bit of stairs climbing was expected. Breakfast was simple. The location of this BnB was just 5 minutes drive from Salen and on the main road so there was no problem finding it.

When I booked a room at this hostel, I fully expect a hostel-type environment, so having a shared bathroom (for example) was no problem. However, I did not expect to be asked to pay quite a bit extra if I wanted sheets for the beds! I told the fellow at check (who was not there when I arrived--the door was locked and I had to wait about 10-15 minutes) that we would do...

My stay here was excellent. I stayed at a self catering apartment with a feel of a home away from home. The communication with the management/staff was superb from the booking to I left. It is also located in a quiet location and neighborhood next to a canal not too far from the railway station and some shopping venues. The bed was good for my ill back and the WiFi wa...
