Traveling to Austria? Find Tyrol hotels

My friend & I had a fabulous experience at Hotel Sailer, the Staff were super friendly, spoke clear english, helpful, attentive & knowledgeable, the hotel was quite central and a small walk to walk to any tourist area ie Golden Roof, or train station (1 block) , loved the convenience of its locality!! Our room was modern, clean, beds were so comfy!, room was quiet at night, Breakfast was anything you could ever want to eat, a great selection of Hot foods as well as Continental, & fresh fruits, bread rolls, selections of different breads,, juices, and the coffee was Amazing!!! The 100yr old Hotel exceeded my expectations, I loved the carving on the wooden ceiling in the breakfast room., that was original for sure. Overall would highly recommend to any travellers... Thank you for a wonderful stay Hotel Sailer!!

Good overall stay, bit trusting when you specify a room in a specific part of the hotel about 6 months prior to arrival then again about 3 weeks in advance to be told the room is already allocated and can't be moved due to being full. To then stay in a room with a broken bed and next to a noisy family and to find the hotel less than half full. The bed frame was broken and was clearly visible to anyone as soon you walk into the room, so no excuse not to be fixed, had to manually wedge something under it to be able to sleep properly. Breakfast was average, food generally cold, room often a mess with uncleared tables. Hotel location is pretty good , mid point of the two main lifts so a bit of a walk, but you can leave skis and boots in the shop at the lifts, so the 10 min walk ok. St Anton still a great ski area with some good bars and restaurants.

The staff greeted us well and everything was in order, the room was wonderful with a beautiful view. The staff was very helpful and gave us clear and accurate directions. The facility of getting the innsbruck card from the hotel was also useful. the room service can be improved thought. We really enjoyed the best breakfast and facilities possible. the bar facility is also great and open round the clock. Will come back to stay in the hotel innsbruck

Only guests that are booked directly with hotel will have free wifi in the room. For us who booked under Agoda or other agent, free wifi is only available at hotel lobby. I think the management should review this policy as everyone is a guest at the hotel REGARDLESS who they book from. This information on free wifi is pasted on the hotel lift, so it is a statement made to all guests.

Staff is very kind and polite. The hotel is situated near de train station, which is very convenient. Our room on the 3th floor was full of light and very clean. Very good breakfasts buffet. The owners take care of the customers personally. Bed could have been more confortable, but nothing dramatic. Personnel très accueillant. L'hôtel situé près de la gare, ce qui est très pratique. Notre chambre au 3e étage était lumineuse et très propre. Excellents déjeuners servis sous forme de buffet. Les propriétaires s'occupent personnellement des clients et sont des plus sympathiques. Le lit aurait pu être plus confortable, mais rien de dramatique.

We had a good 5 night stay over new years. The hotel was full and the staff was very friendly. I found the breakfasts and dinners to be very good. The rooms are a good size and our had a balcony. The only thing that I thought was strange was that the shuttle to take you skiing drops you in the middle of the town and you have to walk 3 or so blocks to the ski lift but the bus could drive there.

Friendly Wonderful hosts. We travelled with a 90yo and the hosts were extremely accommodating. Spent the afternoon sat outside with a few drinks and enjoyed the spectacular views and took in the fresh air. Dinner was amazing, generous portions and the smoked trout and carpaccio really hit the spot. Staff were friendly and happy to chat which complimented the stay. Facilities were clean and modern. I couldn’t say anything negative and this hotel is on our list to return again. Wish we had the ability to stay a few more days.

We stayed in the hotel just for one night in the middle of our tour around Austria. What an amazing city, picture perfect! We loved strolling around the little streets and of course the view from the mountain while drinking a hot cup of coffee! Our room was at the fourth floor with an amazing view and big with a welcoming feeling. The only thing I found lacking was the bed, it was a little uncomfortable for me. The staff were really friendly and helpful especially at the restaurant and a lady at the reception who helped us a lot with our train reservations! Breakfast nothing too special but adequate! Overall a nice stay!

Had a quote in hand with how much to pay and they refused the amount. Said they had a quote. I showed them my sheet with how much I was to pay and they insisted on about $60 more and said it was "not their problem" but booking.com. It said right on my sheet and the website and I showed them. They said no. I called Agoda to resolve and no one was available. So I paid the increased rate and left. Too bad because I would have gone back. Other than them not having other parts of my reservation correct, which we were able to resolve, it was a decent place with an ok breakfast. They simple had me down for one night and we were staying two. Owner/manager seemed helpful, the town was beautiful with lots to do. The one hotel we were looking the most forward to really pissed me off.

I enjoyed the hotel. I really liked the furniture and the fresh air everywhere inside the hotel. The location was OK, it had a nice view depending on the room you book. The breakfast place could get congested due to its small size, and the food was OK but not various and selected items could run out quickly *shrug*. But still, the hotel is clean, beautiful and the staff are very friendly!

Location is great, situated in a nice residential neighborhood just a short walk to city center. Our room was bright and sunny. Staff was great all around. Only complaint was that inside the room it was a bit hot. We had a similar issue with another hotel nearby and opened our window and both my wife and were bitten by mosquitos. Would be good if hotel either installed ceiling fans or window screens. Overall a great stay.

It takes a little time to reach to this as the winding roads may mislead you. Pease use WAZE as your GPS instead of google map. From the price standard of this, the hotel is not as clean as a thought it would be compare to others with similar price. Especially the restaurant section was a little too dusty. Toilet ventilation system is smelly too. Good and comfy bed, friendly staff. Try the food it was absolutely nice, thou the price is a bit expensive compare to others. During my stay the near by lift is not in operation, therefore is a little quiet and no much is happening there.

This hotel is typical Hilton style. The staff were great. Thanks to reception for friendliness, great knowledge of area bars and transport. Same goes to porter, fantastic young guy, willing to help with anything and has a good sense of humour. Would have liked to see more of him. The room had the best mountain views you could wish for. Breakfast was sensational. The hotel is a very short walk from central train station. We got caught by asking a cab driver how far is the hotel. Before he answered he had our suitcases loaded and he took us to the end of the street! Charged us $6.50 euros for a 5min walk! We learnt to ask anyone but taxi drivers how far our hotel is from main train stations.

Nothing wrong with this hotel. Traditional decor and rooms etc. Comfortable beds. The breakfast selection was also fairly average and would have expected a better selection for a 4 star hotel. Out of all the hotels we stayed in Austria would put this one at the bottom in terms of value. Parking outside the hotel was easy. there was plenty of parking just across the street. We were in Lienz on a Sunday so pretty much everything was closed which meant the place lacked atmosphere.

Staid here for a week's skiing holiday with friends. The location just opposite Eggalmbahn is unbeatable, the renovated rooms are cozy and stylish. The food good at breakfast and excellent for dinner. The sauna and pool area are great as is the hotel massage therapist. The only small thing I could find is the quality of the coffee but that is really nit picking. Very much recommended.

From arrival to departure this hotel was top class. We were visiting Kitzbuel primarily as a skiing break but would happily stay here any time. The staff were friendly and professional, the rooms spacious, comfortable and clean and the food varied, healthy and well prepared. The yoga classes, large modern spa and gym facilities were excellent and really welcome. We didn't have any treatments as these were prohibitively expensive for our budget. There were lots of nice touches such as large bowls of complimentary fresh fruit around the hotel and healthy snacks and drinks in the spa. It is positioned about a 10 minute picturesque riverside walk from the town centre but a bus stop and small train station is right next to the hotel and using these is free. We generally avoid staying in the same place twice but are very tempted to return and would not hesitate to recommend.
