Texas hotels & accommodations

When I first got there, they upgraded me. I was excited the room was beautiful high off the river, great king bed. Well the TV didnt work and the loo was used and not cleaned. I went back to the desk and was given the smallest room they had. And the washroom just the same. I was so disappointed I left the first night crying. It was wasted money. My friend made me go ba...

Good, clean hotel. But not many attractions around the hotel. Good to stay for Toyota center events. A few nice restaurants to eat in the park opposite. But if you need late night supper, there is a Papa Joe's that opens til late at the ground floor of the hotel.

My wife and I don't get to stay in hotels often and were looking forward to staying in a nice hotel in the middle of downtown Austin. The staff was very nice and helpful but the room was definitely in need of an update. The tv was small and the carpet was stained. There was no cover on the duvet, just another sheet. We were only there one night and we didnt even sp...

This hotel was amazing. My daughter lives the mini river that runs through the hotel lobby. She lived the koi fish swimming around. For me, the best part were the beds. I usually have a hard time falling asleep when I travel but the bed was so comfortable. I fell asleep almost instantly. My daughter and I wanted to go see the pool and followed the signs to another fl...

The hotel is in a great location for an early flight out or late flight in. Shuttle was timely in coming to pick me up from the airport & get me to the hotel. My room was freezing during the night and when I tried resetting the control it only held for a short time. Another guest that I spoke to on my way out said that they had the same problem except their room was to...

Traveling alone with my son and we were greeted by very friendly staff. My son was in heaven the minute we walked in. The room was very clean, small but expected as the building is older. I had read a lot of reviews and I was scared to book this place because of that. I am HAPPY I didn’t pay attention to that. The bathroom is small BUT clean!! Not sure why their ...

We stayed here with another couple last weekend. We had adjoining rooms which worked out great! Rooms were clean, nicely decorated and roomy! Good breakfast, too! Perfect location! Right next to the Alamo and 2 blocks from Riverwalk. Staff was super friendly, as was everyone we met in Texas. Would love to go back to San Antonio and when we do, will definitely sta...

I recently stayed at the Omni Fort Worth for a work conference and decided to bring along my children (3 and 5) and mother. The room itself smelled and was clean upon entering. At bedtime we found that the sheets on the bed were not tucked in and just laid across the top of the bed. During check in the children were provided a small backpack of goodies which was a nice...

I booked a two nights at this hotel. I arrived very early 1:30am. The front desk didn't allow me to check in bec it should be 3am. I am very tired and sleepy at that time but I agreed to wait at the lobby with my luggage. After 20mins, the front desk came to me and said that i can't stay at the lobby and will have to leave and wait somewhere. I was like? Sir it's late ...

We booked for Memorial Day weekend last minute and lost a lot of affordable options due to being sold out. I was happy to find a hotel with a pool AND putt putt for such a small Price. Checking into the hotel I wasn’t expecting much but then was super pleased with what we had gotten! It was such a big room, very clean. Yes it is outdated compared to some but we didn’t...

Girls trip at a beautiful hotel at Austin was the idea but only problem was the hotel. The hotel is beautiful but if you book 3rd party beware! Out of 4 reservations only 1 ran smooth. 2 reservations cancelled and 1 check in the room was dirty. The cancelled reservations ended with 1 double and 1 king, when reservation was for 2 doubles. At the bar lounge to lazy to pr...

Nice hotel but mayhem at check in. I booked 3 rooms well in advance. We arrived early (1:00'ish) & were told that the rooms were not ready (not expecting otherwise). We were told that they couldn't put us in rooms next to each other since all the rooms in the hotel were all "blocked" for the night. I stated that if the other guests had not arrived, then why couldn'...

My husband and I were extremely satisfied and impressed with our stay! The hotel was beautiful and our room had an awesome view. They made it all the more special with complimentary wine, strawberries and rose petals for our 24th Wedding anniversary!! Would definitely recommend this hotel!! Can't wait to go back!!

The hotel General Manager (Mr. Petrollini) has managed to resolve the confusion with my reservation quickly and effectively and with a very friendly attitude and I had a great feeling about it. The hotel was VERY clean and so were the room and bathroom. A free shuttle was available for a transport anywhere within 5 miles - shopping mall in my case.

My cousin has a son around the same age as mine, so we booked at Moody Gardens because it was convenient. The hotel was very clean, decor was nice and staff super friendly. The hotel's pool and play area was great and all the attractions were within walking distance. We went to Palm Beach and the kids had a blast. The hotel also has a nice cafe with a good menu. Decent location. Next to highway and not much else but a 20 minute walk brings you to the North Loop neighborhood that has a lot of cool stuff. Staff was awesome. Accidentally booked a room with 1 bed for me and my friend. The gentleman at the front desk hooked us up with 2 beds no extra charge. No hassles in the castle.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I was greeted with a friendly smile by the doorman whom directed me to the front desk where I was welcomed by a wonderful staff that had me checked in within minutes. I was taken back by my spacious room and the incredibly beautiful view from the 22nd floor. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel which was perfect. When ...

Price point was better than many other hotels for the excellent location. With a view onto the Alamo, fantastic pictures that tell the history of the hotel and it’s famous visitors, a bar for a drink with friends, and short walking distances to the river walk and convention center, the Menger was the best choice for my trip. Staff was super friendly and helpful, room w...

The pools were very fun and my daughter enjoyed a paddle boarding with my husband. We rented a boat from the Lakeway marina and it was an absolute blast. Cheap places to stay in Texas

rooms were clean neat and tidy no bed bugs!!! Older Lady at counter seemed a little stressed/uptight but overlooked it. just fyi its not called Ramada Limited anymore its called Knights Inn was confused couldnt find it the only reason i did find it was because I had stayed there before called them to confirm

I would not stay there again. The location was ok but the room was filthy and very outdated to say the least blankets were very old and not even a comforter was on the bed and not very comfortable tv didn't work and restroom was dirty room smelled. There was signs for ice machine and nothing. We were looking forward to get in the pool and the water was so filthy we did...

The rooms are either decorated for royalty or have a cowboy theme with hand painted walls. A local artist did the murals and they are all one of a kind. We found the accommodations very comfortable, quiet, sleep inducing and we highly recommend nearby South Llano State Park where you can tube the river very cheaply.

We have been staying here for 2 weeks and have paid a day or a week ahead. We were told several times that if we needed to pay at 2 instead of 11 on fridays it was more than ok. My husband went to work and I stayed in the room with bronchitis and he would bring our checks home to pay for the room. And now im sitting outside in the rain with all of our belongings everyt...

this is a good hotel for quick in and out of city by Flights... it is walkable distance to Walmart, Macy's and many more make it comfortable for day to to day needs and shopping.. it also comes with hot plate and microwave making it much more worth while staying for longer time

I was very apprenhensive about staying here after reading all the recent reviews. But from the moment of my check in, I find that there was really nothing to worry about. The girl at the frontdesk was friendly and nice. We had big and heavy luggages, so she explained that we could have rooms downstairs but they were in a seperate building which was fine by us. Floo...

Well worn, barely maintained property. Towel bar pulled off the wall, smoke detector hanging by the wires, in room coffee provided, but someone had apparently jacked the coffee maker. Tub fills with water while attempting a brief shower , sink is loose in counter, TV picture was color pixelated static, room was cool, HVAC droned on incessantly all night. Breakfast coff...

Dirty, run down hotel. Don't let the photos on the hotel's page fool you. The hotel corridor had broken bits of ceiling tiles all over a filthy, unvacuumed floor, the room had cigarette burns all over the bed covers. The bathroom had a huge hole punched in the wall, and everything reeked of mold. The kitchen area didn't have working lights, had a broken vending machine...

Super convenient to the convention centre and stadium Walking distance to restaurants. Nice rooms and approachable staff. Beds very comfortable. My only little complaint is the foyer computer was intermittently faulty. And the breakfast unhealthy. Good value for money.

Lisa is so amazing she made our check in very easy..not only did she help me she help my sister.very sweet very Patient.. Very professional made us feel very welcome from the time we walked in the front door till We checked out. I am hoping that Lisa will get notice for her hard work

First off, for the money, this was an AMAZING value. The beds were overall comfy and I liked the pillows. Water pressure was overall good and got warm really quick. The room had a microwave and fridge which was great. The location of the hotel was very close to the center of SA and not much of a pain to get to and from. Now the negative: There was a few, small stains...

The hotel is in a great location for an early flight out or late flight in. Shuttle was timely in coming to pick me up from the airport & get me to the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very pleasant the entire time. The bell boy RJ was superb and very accommodating. There was only a few things that may need to be changed and those are free WiFi for ALL rooms, microwaves and refrigerators need to be inserted in the rooms, other than that you’ll love it here and I’m a hard critic when it comes to r...

Loved the Hilton, Austin. I stayed in an Executive Suite on the second top floor. The room was great, clean, spacious and well presented. The location of the hotel was excellent, positioned on East 4th Street, the main street through town, with an abundance of great bars, cafe's and restaurants. Plenty of shopping also. everything is right there when you leave the hote...

The two best things were the staff and the lounge area. Apparently the $10 million spent on renovations 2.5 years ago all went to the lobby,. Rooms were small, dated and in need of freshening as in peeling wallpaper, pitted tub, low grade linens. Fitness area small. Parking lot flooded when it rained. Parking not good. Good location near shopping, restaurants. Gr...

Our stay at The Line was truly out of this world. My wife and I, along with our friends visiting from Asia were true blown away by the unparalleled friendliness and stratospheric level of service. this is the second time i stayed at ths hotel. i like the location and hotel charge are fairly reasonable for the room size. easy access to wi-fi. but, most important this hotel offer smoking room, so i can smoke in the room without going out of my room. breakfast are so so at this hotel as little choice o foods.

We checked in at 7 am on a Monday morning and it was quite fast, breakfast was also quite good but mainly American spread and it is the same everyday. The only thing that's keeping me from giving 5 stars across the board is my experience with the staff after leaving the hotel. We were missing some items after checking out. Went for my 22nd birthday with my boyfriend and overall it was very appealing! The pool was great we sat under the cabana and drank mimosas which were also very nice! Room was cozy and nice only complaint was that our tv and lamps did not work at all. Luckily we weren’t in the room much! Service and staff were very attentive and helpful at all times! Thought this hotel...

It’s a luxury hotel so expected more impeccable quality or service. The good point was that the staff were all nice (except for the one front desk guy who was a bit rude) and tried to “problem solve” for us. However there were indeed “problems”... no signage for parking and so our car was driven to a wrong area and that front desk guy told me to sort out with Valet d...

My 3 daughters any myself stayed here over night for a conference that was at the American Airlines Center. The room was set up for 2 people. It had two king size beds and they were fully aware ...

They say first impressions make the difference and unfortunately the check in wasn't the greatest and the bar man was too busy telling his mate how often he gets drunk, however mistakes happen, we are all human and the team in the restaurant saved the day with their smiles, friendly engaging demeanour and professional approach. Would I return?..definitely. Would I ex...
