Villa J is quite a way out of Dilijan town. To go into town one needs a car or order a GG/Yantex ride share. The guest house is in a very nice and cozy garden. Unfortunately, it was already too cold to sit outside in the evening. The rooms are no frills but decent. The heater was broken and it was quite cold. in the room We got a kettle on demand in order to be able to make tea and coffee in the morning. The bathroom sinks were a bit smelly. The hosts were super nice but only spoke Russian. Google Translate did a good job though. The internet did not really work in the rooms.

A very nice place in Dilijan area (not in Diljan city). A nice grassy area with picnic tables along a small river. Great place for kids to run and play. They were doing some renovations when we were there - adding some more rooms. Our room was one of the newer ones and although not yet finished on the outside, very nice on the inside! We had a 4 bed room - one room with a big bed and a separate but connected room with 2 single beds. Nice bathroom with shower. Food was great - we had dinner and breakfast. Staff incredibly nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

The location was fantastic for those looking for a fun and thrilling getaway, there are a lot of activities to do. The staff were super friendly and helpful especially a guy called hakob, he was great and he made sure we were always happy. The dogs were very friendly and fun to play with. However the walking paths were full of horse crap. The towels in the room were worn out. We liked the fact that there was no wifi or tv in the room, so it feels like you are in a cottage back in time before technology existed and that way you can experience it fully.

We stayed in a suite with a huge balcony. The rustic decoration was nice but lacked refinement. The huge balcony only had a table and 4 very hard chairs -flowers around the balcony would have been most welcome. Bathroom was smallish and shower 3 star style without even an Italian shower. Our breakfast experience was well below expectations: no juice, no omelette, no sausages, not even tissues when we arrived. I needed to ask the lazy waitress who was not overseeing the buffet and standing near the entrance doing nothing. It took her 15 minutes to prepare an Armenian coffee and an espresso. I asked for her manager to come and he was -rightly- apologetic when he heard about the situation. At the end of the day, the best moment in this hotel was at reception where the professional and friendly receptionist made us immediately feel welcome.
