Had a lovely stay with these guys. Amazing to have such a beautiful place almost entirely to yourself but the staff and their family could not have been more friendly and/or helpful. This is not a place with many amenities but we were assisted with onward boats, booking flights... they even fired up a generator so we could get some A/C to cool down and get the drinks i...

I would recommend this hotel for stays during the week (Monday night - Thursday night). However, it is horrible from Friday - Sunday. They have a club on the 5th floor, and the music plays from about 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. The music is so loud and the base so strong that my room shook with it. I could not sleep Friday night and had to move to another hotel on Saturday. T...

didn't realise it was an Islamic hotel. We were foreigners and not dressed in the traditional attire but were welcomed and shown lovely hospitality. A friendly mutual respect, is the best way to describe our stay there. Obviously you can't expect the Bintang beer to flow like it does in Bali, and you should adjust your behaviour accordingly, but the atmosphere is frien...

The hotel is a budget class hotel which still stands just one year, but the hotel bathroom was pretty bad with that rocking toilet, and the bathroom floor is flat so much water floating on the floor. Other than that the hotel service is quite good and clean.

I have now stayed in KDI in Zenith, Horison, Clarion, SwissBel and now Plaza Inn. My summary: Zenith too cheap, Horison poor value for the tariff, Clarion outstanding in KDI hotels but most expensive, SwissBel good but can't compare in value with Clarion because it's relatively too expensive. I rate Plaza Inn about equal with Horison - it's in the Horison Group of hote...
