it was a short trip to amritsar for a visit to the golden temple, jalianwalah bagh and wagah border. i had book 2 deluxe rooms in the hotel and as expected the hotel was full on the weekend. this helped us get an upgrade to a dimension suite in exchange of one of the deluxe room and it was simply awesome. we stayed at the 3rd floor and the rooms were just awesome. we had dinner at the hotel and the biryani, fish tikka and methi malai murg was to die for. the breakfast (included in the package) was elaborate and lived upto our expectation. they even allowed us for a late checkout on one of the rooms as we were late coming back from the temple and it helped a lot. the only issue was with a confusion on having a person per room instead of 2, which happened when i booked the rooms on agoda. agoda has changed there website and they have stupid icons which describe the number of people per room and i missed that. the hotel should have informed about this when i was checking in, instead of adding charges for 2 extra beds in the bill. though the manager i guess named "abhishek" helped us in getting out of that sticky situation and i payed the difference directly to agoda. overall a great experiene..

Ideally located on G.T. Road and just ten minutes drive away from Golden Temple The Hyatt Regency Amritsar is a Land Mark property .We are thankful to the front desk officers for obliging us with an early check in. The staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. Small Lobby with contemporary ambience gave good positive vibes. A reasonably good breakfast spread and your personal choices are fulfilled without hesitation which needs a special mention. The Beautiful English interiors of the Restaurant “PUNJAB PROVINCE” has nothing matching with Punjab and moreover the Restaurant gives a theme of a beautiful British Garden with extended outdoor seating. Though Comfortable and fully loaded, the unusual room design gives a smaller feel. The walk in closet with concealed luggage area seems a good concept. There was an Aircon issue in our room so our room was shifted without any fuss. Overall Bit Pricey, Excellent staff, Somehow the Flair of the Brand Hyatt is missing somewhere.

Great experience with the Hotel, the staff was very courteous. We had given time of arrival as 2AM, but was running late. The staff was generous enough to call us at 2.30AM just to check our arrival status, which was a nice gesture. even though we arrived at 3AM the staff was there and ready for a quick Check in. Overall the experience was excellent. The location is also great just 5 KM from Golden temple and other nearby places.

We had two rooms, one was very elegant and plush with large rugs on the floor and an upholstered bench outside the bathroom. The other room had cold wooden flooring and a dark bathroom area. The lighting in both rooms were quite low so it wasn't great for putting on makeup whilst at the mirror. Having said this, there was one thing that would make me return and that was the service we received at Cafe Delish from Deepak and his staff. The food was great and service made us feel we definitely VIPs. Deepak and his staff kept an eye on my young daughter asking her regularly if there was something else they could make her to eat if she didn't see anything she liked. One on occasion my daughter asked for a choc brownie......and the very next morning a freshly baked choc brownie was presented to her for breakfast. Needless to say she was over the moon! I can't thank Deepak and his staff enough. The location of the hotel was great,lots of malls to shop in along Ferozpur road.

Pros: the location, the rooms and fair cleanliness Cons: a slight rigid policies... E.g. no consession for check in 12 hours prior to the actual booking...just to spend the night we had to pay the full 24 hour charge...breakfast from the buffet could not be delivered to room...we would have been happier if these small things were taken into consideration...no other concerns I would definitely refer this hotel to my family and friends

A family with two kids should opt for the suite we stayed at it has a living room kinda space which makes the bed room quite and noiseless of television noise. although the pool is small but good enough for kids. Staff is very helpful, in all a comfortable stay. Although i booked through Agoda i would still like to suggest that the reward points should be added to the members account, the stay was at the Hotel wasn't it

First stay here at BW Summerlea. Good value for $. Executive room. Free WiFi and breakfast buffet. Decent sized room. My only issues- AC not very cold- end of winter so not terribly hot but would be a bigger issue during warmer months. WiFi very spotty in room to the point where on occasion it was not usable. Room windows are not sound proof- large gap between window panes that I added thick folded paper to create a wedge to place additional pressure to help seal window better. Even then, would be woken up ~715ish AM since room was towards front side of hotel &located on fairly busy street/highway. Lots of horns. fitness room is small- 1 treadmill, recumbent bike, 1 elliptical and multi-use resistance training machine. WiFi sometimes spotty and ask for the blinds to be drawn if you are working out during day as the AC is not too good in this room. Bring a towel & water bottle. Breakfast buffet is good. Custom omelet & dosa. Helpful staff. Though, Ramada is quieter

I stayed at cabbanna for a month . The hotel is five star Indian style which by UK standard is 4 star . The hotel is immaculate all communal areas and gardens are well kept . The swimming pool was very very dirty when I arrived it was one of the reasons I booked this hotel as had pool. I spoke with staff and pool got treated and cleansed within 2 days . The pool area is clean and tidy but pool has cracked tiles to edge of pool Has well equipped gym and sauna . I used the spa for treatments good value with attentive staff...massage exceptionally good. My room was spacious all rooms are the same only 2 suites available. Building

Location of this property is nice. Good market around with nice food offered in the morning to start with, but the best is if you wanted to explore the place better do it through the local auto. I found the staff good and helpful. We explored the city and Wagah using the local auto as he offered a good package for two days including wagah border. This guy (Mr.Karnail Singh - 06239885080) is simply superb and great in honesty. I recommend if you really wanna explore Amritsar better reach out to him for his exceptional service attitude for guest.

This hotel is fabulous. We have stayed here twice now and each time we have loved our stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, food is lovely you can eat like a king. The staff are ever so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. They would always go out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be coming back and staying here again. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. You’re all doing a fantastic job

Had a one night lay over in Amritsar before flying off the next day after visiting relatives and had a very good stay at the hotel. Hotel is situated 5km from the International Airport and the hotel provides a free shuttle service to the airport. Check in was easy and good. Staff are very professional and friendly. Room was big, comfortable and well worth the price paid. Had 2 in room dinings and 1 meal at the restaurant on the 7th floor and all the meals were very good and service top notch. I had no complaints. I will be back again in the future. The shuttle bus to the Golden Temple departs at 3.45am and returns at 5.45am (please double check with front desk). I thought this may be suitable for some but not practical for others. Would have preferred another departure time in the morning and one in the afternoon to cater for different travellers and hotel guests as many arrive/depart at different times and going at 3.45am did not seem to make sense. It was too cold in winter.

It is very good Hotel in amritsar and is one of the best for Stay for Business or with family, Reception staff is excellent and welcome drink was given and Check in was done very fast and luggage was transferred urgently and staff, security, Breakfast Room Manager and others were very co-oprative and ordered items were served on the table and has wide range of dishes, Help & Courtesy of entire Hotel staff was commendable.I strongly recommend the Hotel for Family and Business People or Pilgrims of Golden Temple. Only problem is It is little bit Far from Amritsar Golden Temple, Main City Centre How ever manageable with Auto Rickshaws and Car.We thoroughly enjoyed our Business Trip and also visit to Amritsar Golden Temple, attraction and Change of Guards .I will recommend hotel to families, Pilgrims,Business People as It has wonderful ambience,service,breakfast, Reception.Due to our work our request for Extended checkout was also made by the Hotel.We loved every moment of our stay

when in amritsar- there are only 2 places to stay- 1.best western 2. hyatt. The best western provides all the facilities of a 5 star hotel for the price of a 4 star hotel. i went with my family as we had to go to the golden temple, and i can easily say that the hotel was as per our expectation- comfy and clean. The location could have been better but all in all a great experience.

The hotel is so near the Golden Temple that you can walk out without your footwear which is why we choose this hotel. But the hotel is in poor condition though the manager and hotel staff try their best to make up for the poor condition of the hotel. Hotel amenities are basic, room is small and barely fit an extra bed. The lock of our door was spoilt and there were mosquitoes in the room. But each time we told the staff, they were quick to respond by fixing the lock or provding anti-mosquito coils. Travellers with lots of luggage should note that it is difficult to reach hotels ard the temple by car/taxi. Cars are not allowed and we had to stop at the parking which is 20mins away and take a rickshaw or auto to get to and from the hotel. But because of the congested road, it took us up to an hr to get there from the parking.

I would have rated 5/5 had there been no issue with Breakfast. This was 2nd short stay of my parents with Hotel. Last time everything went well. This time it was told that due to less number of reservations, Hotel has decided not to have Buffet Breakfast and requested food will be served on the table. They were running out of time, so couldn't enjoy the 1st meal of the day, just ordered one of the food item. My understanding and experience with International chains are ,"They Always go as per the process and don't deviate" Hopefully in the next visit, Experience will be the way it is and the way it should be.
