Nice stay for the price”
The Austria Trend Hotel Park Royal Palace Vienna is a nice hotel for the price. The rooms are clean, if a bit spartan, but the beds are comfortable. The gym was one of the better ones I've experienced in Europe, even if they had barbells but no bench for bench presses. The staff was very helpful. I had an issue with leaving my passport in the previous hotel, and they went overboard communicating with that hotel to get my passport sent to me. The location is good, right at the Royal Palace and close to the city center.

Great location, furnishing and ambience”
We got a suite facing the park with a balcony and the room was beautiful, surprisingly large as compared to what you would get in Europe. The hotel is a business hotel with large conference rooms and meeting areas with modern furnishings and styling. Breakfast was great with a sufficient spread and staff were helpful. One counter staff was helpful enough to give us directions to the main shopping street with alternative ways to get there. There is plenty of free parking around the hotel so don't bother parking in the private carpark as it costs quite a bit per day. The bartender was super attentive and made for great conversation when my partner casually asked me 'where would you be on the last day of your life?' and the bartender chimed 'definitely Vienna, it's the most beautiful city' and I have to admit that the city really does win you over. Will definitely be back for more!

A view of the Hapsburgh's summer palace”
We had a suite on the fourth floor. The view was of the Schobronn palace. The suite was of a toilet, bath and shower room , bedroom and lounge. Access to the city was by tram and underground ( metro ) . These transports got you to the city centre in around 20 minutes. How ever the tram stop was a 10 minute walk away, and the metro station was a 12 minute walk away. We had access to the executive lounge as part of the package, but it was offered rather poor snacks and drinks. The towels the hotel offered were rationed and off thin material. But we would return to this hotel and to Vienna.

Excellent value for money”
Stayed in the Trend Park Royal for two nights over New Year 2013/14, paying $180 AUD per night. At that rate one of the best value suites I have ever stayed in. Huge room, very modern and clean with a great view to Schonbrunn Palace. Split living and sleeping area with separate bath and shower and walk through wardrobe. A ways out of the city centre but with Vienna's excellent public transport, a tram stops right outside the hotel so you're in the city within 5-10 minutes.

The hotel is everything you would expect from a Radisson Blu: nothing fancy or extraordinary, but very clean, comfortable and convenient. It's an excellent value for money, nothing to complain about.

A worthy spending a good quality hotel ”
Austria Trend Hotel Park Royal Palace Vienna is easy to access from City Central. It only takes about 15 minutes by taxi to the Central City and 30 minutes from the airport. Its quality and facilities is for sure worth more than the rate.

Nice quiet hotel”
Booked this hotel for the last part of my honeymoon Hotel is a bit far from public transport which you need to walk across a quiet park to access to the train/tram station Hotel was great, quiet and not crowded. Room was good except that we got a low floor room which was facing the road, not recommended for light sleeper. Hotel was located near the palace and museum. thus if you decide to visit the palace, this hotel is great. Overall, the hotel met my criteria of comfort, safety and quietness

Comfortable and close to Schönbrunn residence”
The hotel room was comfortable, and quiet. The location is not central, so it's a bit inconvenient to go to the centre (one tram plus at least one subway), but it's at walk distance to one of the "must" attractions, the Scönbrunn palace, and very near to the Technics Museum too. Breakfast was not included and it was expensive, so we opted for having breakfast somewhere else, and Vienna is famous for its cafes (which aren't cheap either) so that's also part of the experience.

Very Clean, Comfortable and Great Breakfast ”
The Austria Trend hotel is very clean, comfortable with great breakfast. You will definitely very happy with this hotel. The tram stop is just in front of the hotel which is very convenient. From the Westbahnhof, you can take tram #52 or #58 and get off Penzingerstraße (7 stops). You can find the hotel on the right side of Schlossallee (3 min walk). The Schonbrunn Palace is just 10 to 15 minutes walk from this hotel.

Nice hotel with reasonable price”
The hotel is very close to Schonbrunn palace, a little bit far from downtown though (20min by metro). We feel very comfortable staying in the well-designed room, everything is perfect; however, the room is close to the main road, quite noisy during the night. The breakfast is delicious, can find basically everything, and all the food are fresh, well-cooked.

Nice starting point for Schonbrunn visit”
Clean rooms with WIFI internet connection and parking in the hotel, nice and helpful staff, and fantastic location for starting point of Schonbrunn visit. We were on family trip with 3-year daughter - her birthday present - visiting the Schonbrunn ZOO. We booked this hotel because of the location but we will book it also at next visit in Vienna because of spacious and full equiped with profesional staff.

Relatively cheap hotel at the outskirts of Austria”
it was a bit out of the way from the main old town of austria but can be easily accessible from the schobrunn station just 15 mins away. The hotel looks really classy and the rooms are really neat and clean. The hotel is near schobrunn palace and the technica museum so drop by those places when you have the time.

Modern business orientated hotel”
If you are arriving to this hotel in the dark rainy night from the nearest metro station, it will not be a very welcoming start. The hotel is in a very empty area of vast woody parks. What can be a nice 15 min walk through the park to the tube in a sunny day, will become less charming and less safe at night. There is a tram station nearby but its 15 min by tram to the nearest tube too. Generally its a great business and conference hotel, just build, super modern and super clean with loads of space and great fully featured rooms. The staff at reception is quick, very friendly and professional.

We have enjoyed our stay very much in this hotel. The design of the hotel is contemporary and its very new and clean. Breakfast buffet has a great variety of food. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's close to the Schonbrunn Palace so it's a little off the city centre. In spite of that, I would still highly recommend this hotel.

Good business hotel, staff was not very friendly”
I was at the Austria Trend Hotel Park Royal Palace on a business trip. Nice large room (suite), internet reasonably fast but bad telephone reception in room. Staff of the hotel (reception, bar and breakfat area) nog very friendly, very argumentative, not very customer or service oriented. I felt I was a burden. Staff could use some serious training! I forgot my toiletbag in my room upon checkout. It contained a very valuable bracelet. I have been calling the hotel from home for three days now but still "no news from Housekeeping". Still pending on any update. This incident has given me a very disappointed feeling. Not sure if I am willing to return or recommed this hotel to any other business travelers.
