Well-appointed hotel in CBD location”
i stayed at radegast hotel for only one night, but it was a very pleasant night. the service was attentive and the staff were highly responsive to my requests. i don't speak a word of mandarin, but the staff were all proficient speakers of english. the room was very spacious: newly furnished, enormous bed, and all the usual inclusions you'd expect at a 5-star hotel. free wifi was available too. the central cbd location would probably benefit workers more so than tourists. i had stayed at another hotel (a cheaper one) that was closer to the main tourist attractions where it was more convenient to stay for such purposes. but it was still easy to travel around beijing from radegast. you definitely get your money's value when you stay at radegast as the room rates were significantly cheaper than other 5-star hotels in beijing.

Good hotel with good price”
the hotel is pretty new (2009) and located in the heart of beijing, the cbd. so some of the taxi driver might not find it. the price of the hotel compared with the service they offer is very good. the rooms are really big like an apartment and equipped with two tv's. you have a separate working room which you can also use for business meetings (with separate restroom). the next room is a big sleeping room followed by a huge bath with a round tub. the rooms are not only big, they are also comfortable furnished. in the working room you goit a large desk for your computer work. the bed is really "double-king-size". the cleanliness of the rooms is very good. all in all very nice for a longer stay in beijing.

I booked a room at Radegast as I needed to stay in the Guomao area (Central Business District) at an affordable price. I have been impressed by the 5***** standards of the hotel. I have been to other hotels in the area (such as Shangri La, JW Marriott, Grand Millennium) and I would say that, for less than a third of their usual rate, Radegast offers an absolutely comparable stay in terms of location, room

This is another excellent, new facility in Beijing. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with excellent facilities. The complimentary buffet breakfast was of a high-quality, with swift, low-key service. The hotel is within 10 minutes walk of most CBD buildings and the nearest subway station. While not as conveniently located as other hotels in the area business travellers should find its location acceptable. Tourists may find its location less ideal for their needs. Given that it offers nothing more than other hotels in the area, I'd chose it over others largely on the basis of price.

The best hotel in my ioinion”
The room is very user friendly and comfortable, the location is convenient both for city center and to the outskirt of the city; Very good value for the price I paid. The best part of this hotel is the staffs of the hotel; you are so warmly treated (yet not overwhelming) from you step out of the taxi and all around inside the hotel; front desk, coffee shop on the ground floor, breakfast room on the 2nd floor and the Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor. this is the only hotel that I have stayed in Beijing that the staffs would really make you feel at home. I stayed in Beijing quite a few hotels and I have never found better services (including some world name hotels) than this hotel. I do speak Chinese so maybe this works for my advantage, I do believe the hotel staffs speak English but you might need a little patience. It is a chain hotel, I do not know about the other ones but I would recommend this one highly.

Great Value”
We choose the Radegast for its location on Guang Hua Lu, right next to our former neighborhood and my friends. The hotel is brand new which is already a plus for any hotel anywhere but more so in China. The carpets were a bit stained but other than that the room was very clean. I am very familiar with the neighborhood, so I already knew it'd be a great location. However, I was most impressed with the excellent customer service. The staff has received excellent training and it shows. I highly recommend Radegast whether for business or pleasure.

checked into radegast late as my driver had a difficult time finding the property, so definately bring a map or directions with you. however, that was the most challenging part of my trip. upon check in, was upgraded to executive floor as i was staying 5 nights. a definate recommendation as access to the lounge is great for quick biz meetings. staff is very attentive and service oriented. they do a good job to match western 5 star service, so as a biz traveller throughout most of the globe, i was immediately quite comfortable and had a pleasant stay. one of the hotel entrance valet's, a woman named Yo Ya Roh (sp?), was especially kind, welcoming me back to the hotel each time and making sure all my transportation was secured. this type of personalized service is why i come back to hotels, so cheers!

Great Hotel in Beijing”
Located in the CBD of Beijing. It's relatively new hotel value for money. 5 star hotel with reasonable rate. The room are clean, nice and well designed. The hotel provide free internet access. The only set back is no subway nearby the hotel and the only mode of transport is by cab. As it's relatively new, so not many cab drivers know bout the hotel.

A best kept secrect in Beijing”
I have been staying at this hotel for the past 2-1/2 years and was never disappointed. Hotel staffs are friendly, everyone tries to help, rooms are always clean and the house keeping staffs are really good. This is one of the few hotels that you can use the hot water kettle and not to worry about the cleanness. On the 3rd floor; there is a restaurant serving traditional Beijing food, the food is great and the price is so reasonable that I wonder how can they survive. If there are anything that I might suggest which will be (1) when the coffee shop serving sandwiches, they do not serve the sandwich with a plat so you basically have to open and eat it with your hand and leave the packaging and leftovers on the table. This is not a 5 star hotel serving standards, (2) you can definitely improve their coffee a little better. I am going back in May and this is one of the few hotels I enjoy.

A hotel with great location and unbelievable price”
Spacious, well maintained room. Beautiful bathroom. Service was great. Warm-hearted hotel staff. Unbelievable price in CBD. Quite a few good restaurants nearby. Very convenient. Nice breakfast with very reasonable price. A real 5 star hotel. One problem is that it is difficult to get a taxi. We waited over 20 minutes for that.

this was my second stay at the radegast within a few weeks. was upgraded to a suite upon check in, so the management definately knows how to treat frequent biz travellers right! as i had stayed in a superior room before, the suite is definately worth it. a very large room, tastefully decorated, makes any biz traveller feel more comfortable and their stay more enjoyable.

It's hard to look for a 5-star hotel at this price in CBD district Compare with other 5-star hotels, it is relatively small. But the quantity of room is good. And surprisingly, the cost for extra bed is very cheap, it costs only 1 dollar. Sounds interesting.

The Radegast hotel is a great located hotel close to all attractions like shopping and nightlife, further to that it has a great view on the CCTV tower in Beijing, if you have the right side of the hotel. Also to get to the airport is very comfiniant.

Like my subject, this hotel is Good Location, reasonable price and easy to find something to eat. Good Location : hotel is not far from the subway. Reasonable price : not expensive for the business location. Eat & Dinning : There are 2 road between Radegast hotel and Sofitel Wanda hotel which you can find several places to eat (from 7:00AM until 9:00PM). You just walk few minutes and will find the restaureant and local fast food which is clean and not expensive at all. For someone who like Startbuck like me...you can find it at the department store on the left of Sofitel Wanda

nice stay at the radegast. Located within walking distance of the high-end shopping and convenient for business. Hotel staff was helpful and courteous. Some local food choices in the area were inexpensive and provided acceptable local flavors for the bold. Good value for Beijing. Slight issue with the plumbing was solved quickly and without angst. Recommended.

Traveled to Beijing with my visiting mother from the US for a 2-day sightseeing trip. This hotel was booked via Agoda at a terrific rate and we were very pleased with all the hotel features. The one issue we had was that the bathrooms in the rooms have a glass wall that allows you to see into and out of the bathroom into the actual room, therefore making it uncomfortable to share a room with someone you aren't comfortable sharing bathroom habits with! I do not understand this strange feature, as even married couples typically like to have bathroom privacy.
