Excellent Hotel”

I visit Qingdao regularly for business and as with all my destinations research all possible hotels as much as possible. Initially I could find little or no information / reviews about Far Glory, especially on Tripadvisor. As with all Chinese hotels I was skeptical about reviews and information provided online. Farglory is an amazing hotel. It is located almost next door to may 4th square right in CBD of qingdao. As it is very new few taxis and locals know of it as a hotel. As it doubles as both an appartment and commercial complex. The room was very clean, large and modern. A full set of bathroom amenities was available, wonderful large bathroom, free wifi, kitchen (pls note no cooking utensils - plates, cutlery, pots etc) HBO & Sat TV, microwave, large refrigerator, enormous bed etc etc. all the amenities you expect from a 5 star hotel but in an appartment setting. Some of the reviews I read suggested difficulties with English at front desk & concierge however I experienced no such difficulties. The service standard was excellent. I even requested help to work the washing machine and within 10 minutes house keeping was at my door to instruct me how to operate the appliance. Breakfast is good but don't expect a 5 star breakfast in terms of selection however I found it more than adequate with selection of both Chinese and western. All food was well prepared presented and fresh. The view from the breakfast area is what sets this appart from other hotels. The recreation facilities are superb both pool and gym with views over the square, ocean and city. All in all and excellent hotel. If you are staying 1 night, 1 week or 1 month u will not be disappointed. My stay was 3 nights. If ever I am placed in Qingdao for longer stays this is the location as it is more of a residence. My only concern with this review is that by posting this more people will stay and ultimately the price will increase! An absolute bargain and an amazing hotel. Great pool & fitness centre

In Qingdao you’ll never get lost, just look up and you’ll see the hotel high above and you’ll find your way back with confidence. What I like best about Farglory is their location, it’s very near the metro train station, bus station, and the May 5th square and more ... I had a great time even as a solo traveler. Love it!

Great views, great place for a swim”

More like an apartment hotel than a traditional hotel. Hotel starts on 24 floor. Room had all that you need for a week or more of stay. Great view. Got upgraded room with king bed. Great pool for exercising...nice and warm with nice hot tub...all with a view from the 24th floor. Great location for seeing the major sites around Qingdao. Only problem was that the room was a bit warm and the air conditioning was not turned on. Would be helpful but not necessary to speak some Chinese. In all a great stay. We would go back.

the best hotel in qingdao”

The view of the room is very nice, with the view of olympic sailing centre. The hotel is located in central of qingdao city. Lots of shopping centre and scenery spots nearby. The servic of both receptionist and housekeeping also nice. Breakfast with lot of choice. But the air condition is inadaquate, may be due to it's spring season.

This is a great hotel”

This hotel is good, it located in CBD, and it is close to my customer office. At the same time, some shopping mall and food shop are closed to the hotel; it is good for us to relax after the whole busy day. The hotel room is very new and clean. My room has city view only, but it is not bad. The most important thing is money, the price is not expensive, but with good quality services. I will pick this hotel again if I will go back to Qingdao.

Great view and Great location.”

I was worreid about this residence before visit here, cuz there is no information about this hotel. We stayed 33rd floor and the view was really awsome also, every furniture in the room was new and very clean. You will never find this kinda hotel with this cheap money. But,the thing that I was disappointed is I couln't use the swiming pool and fitness center. Reception said that pool and fitness club will open in the future, not sure when. I am pretty sure that this residence is the best choice, if you visit Qingdao.

I heard this is one of the highly recommended hotel in Qingdao by Agoda and decided to give it a try. Everything is just perfect! We took the executive suite which was located in 33 floor. The view is amazing. Room is spacious and bed is quite comfortable. More importantly, the price is very affordable compared to other 4* and 5* hotels in the neighborhood.

A beautiful and relaxing city”

The Hotel is conveniently located at the city centre and there are buses running through to most tourist spots. The rooms are big and clean. You can enjoy a panaronic view of Qingdao city centre from hotel rooms. Reasonably priced as well. Breakfast is adequate but can be monotonous if one stays for a few days.

Overall satisfying experience”

This hotel was widely recommended by Korean bloggers and I didn't take much time considering the alternatives because Farglory seemed incomparably outstanding according to their review. My thoughts proved to be right. The staff members were kind and helping. The room I stayed in was large enough for two people. I liked the high ceiling and the lighting. The highlight of my stay was the amazing view. The night city view from above was one of the best moment of the entire trip. Overall, enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Farglory Qingdao impress me and my family. It was perfect for a family with two kids as space. The breakfast was ok. The staff was helpful with some small problems. I recommend for a couple with kids.

Surprisingly chic hotel right at the city center”

I booked this hotel without much expectations, since the price was very reasonable for a downtown location. The hotel is unexpectedly very nice, nice design is incorporated into every details in the room and including the bathroom. The view from the room is amazing since it is housed in one of the tallest building in Qingdao. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Qingdao.

Nice location with nice view ”

The hotel located near may 4th square and shopping areas. The hotel staff is not really kind but they are kind enough to help in English. The room was spacious but there is no cooking tools in the room. Please keep in mind if you need a knife, spoon etc. You need to bring it. If i have change to visit Qingdao, i will choose this hotel again.

Wonderful stay at the Farlory, this is our second time stay at the hotel, staff are friendly, offered nice breakfast. spacious room and nice bed, modern facilities. Centrally located in the heart of Qingdao.

Nice stay here with convenient location~ Spacious room, comfotable bathroom. A little bit hard for the bed. Good location, but a bit difficult to locate the entrance at first. A bit inconvenient as only one key is provided for one room. And understand it is for security reason for using the key to activate the elevator, but still a bit inconvenient, Will definitely go back if go to Qingdao again.

Very nice staff, good for long stay,great views and the staff are nice. If u plan to travel to qingdao and stay here for a fair long time and do not want to pay the premium for the crazy expensive 5 or 6 star hotels, then this is your choice.

A clean, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel.”

I always choose this hotel when visiting Qingdao. Even the standard rooms are huge, with a large extremely comfortable bed which has a whole wall of floor to ceiling windows, giving panoramic views of the city or the sea. A storage unit with a revolving (took me 2 visits to realise) TV separates a sitting area and workstation with fast wifi. Then there is a small kitchenette and well appointed shower room. The rest of the space is taken up a huge amount of storage. Since the hotel has been completed they have classified as a 5*. I feel this is a little overrated, but the prices reflect very good value for money compared to other hotels in the area.

It has enormous advantages about location. As everyone knows, Qingdao is very good place to trip for eating various ocean food and tsingdAo draft beer. All of them is very close from here. You can visit there in 20mins by bus. Also, hotel is very clean and have a great view.

Great location in qingdao CBD, easy access to shopping districts and excellent service, I left my camera charger in the hotel and requested it to be sent to my secondary residence by speed mail and it was delivered in the same day. Thanks again

This hotel is perfect for tourist/business travel due to location, its close to most sight-seeing places or just 15-20 mins away. Place is well-known to all cab drivers, I did not have to show them a hotel card or address. One thing that bothered me slightly was the lack of customer service, staff not as friendly as you'd expect but they are efficient. They might look a little annoyed if you ask some questions... Hotel breakfast was good, repetitive but works ok if you just need food in the morning. Alternatively, there are food places around the hotel and supermarkets nearby. Housekeeping was great, rooms are cleaned everyday and it comes with dryer/washing machine. Will be great to have some basic kitchenware fitted into the room, it comes with an electric stove, dishwasher, etc.. but there are only 2 cups. Overall, it will be my choice of hotel if I'm visiting Qingdao again.
