Beautiful Mountain View ”
Purespace Though the location is a little hard to locate, the view from the room is out of this world. It overlooks the mountains and you really want to laze and stare at the natural scenery. I found the toilet bowl position too near to the door, but the toilet flush is a remote controlled high tech flush! Host is polite & friendly. We ordered dinner which consisted of fried fish & 2 other veg dishes. Not bad, though a little oily. Breakfast is included & it’s very nice to sit and have breakfast in the balcony, with cold fresh air.

Amazing place ”
Stayed here for two nights, and it was absolutely amazing. The location was breathtaking, a short bit away from town. The owners were super helpful with everything from where we should go and fixing us a driver, to serving food customized to our diets and schedule. The room and view I believe is the best in Zhangjiajie and I would absolutely recommend it!

Plenty of Potential”
Advantages: Some of the rooms have a spectacular view of the park!! Hotel is brand new 10-15 minute walk from one of the secluded park entrances. The corner room was huge and had a great bed and hot tub. Recommended for couples Disadvantages: The hotel is a construction site - they are still building the pool, additional rooms and buildings The sewage system was done inadequately - thus a smell from the shower toilet and sink (they forgot to place traps). They still do not have an electrical generator to supply power when there is a power outage. Staff are not trained professionals in the hospitality business - it is run like a "Mom and Pop" store. No restaurants in the area, must eat all meals at the hotel - do not understand how to cater to western tastes (no mater how much we tried to explain). Poor internet reception in the room - they need to place Wi-Fi units in each room. No mini bar, no coffee, fruit or other amenities in the room.

It was a pure delight to stay at Purespace. The staff went head of heals to help us with different needs and requests. The place is very stylish and fresh and located super close to an less crowded entrance to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. We had an amazing stay and I would recommend anyone to visit and stay at Purespace.

Breathtaking view from room, great hospitality from owners. Delicious homecook meals. Near to one of the ticket entry to Wulingyuan, away from the other overly crowded tourist entry. Seluded and peaceful surrounding. Loving it.....

Mountain escape ”
Took 1 hr drive to get here from the airport . Love my room . Love the view . Come here if you just want to look at mountains all day long , drink tea , listen to music , listen to birds and grasshoppers at night .. and have a peaceful and calm retreat . There is nothing around here except some very locals neighbors . Feels like heaven when you don leave your room . Modern amenities in a very remote , village like china environment . Part of the charm is the proximity to the mountains . Just love the view . Love the serenity here . Surrounding environment is just rural China .
